The coordinator at Little Shawnee Chapel was an absolute gem. From the initial planning stages to the big day itself, they were incredibly helpful and attentive to every detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. It was amazing as it allowed my wife to relax and enjoy every moment with her family who flew in. The chapel itself is timeless. It's super well lit, yet cozy. It provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance that our guests loved. PLUS, the neighboring space allowed extra room for our guests to grab refreshments before and after the ceremony, which other smaller venues in town definitely didn't offer. I had assumed it was just a bunch of old offices or classrooms, never imagining a chapel with such grand arches, stained glass and marble stairs and landings. I hope that organizations can take advantage of this event space and host appropriate events. This chapel would make a great "listening room" for folk / classical concerts. The Vow Exchange though, is an awesome idea and probably perfect for a lot of different situations. We're not looking for a cavernous venue and the fact that The Vow Exchange holds no more than 28 guests (wedding party not included) is actually helpful. We're not feeling obligated to invite everyone we've ever met and actually have a reason why we can't. They have a several options ranging from just the space for an hour to the space, flowers, drinks, a photographer, and an officiant. Prices range from $200 to $1000. The interior is somewhat shabby chic with exposed brick and rough hewn beams, comfortable chairs and benches and wrought iron decor. There's a large overhead door that (I assume) can be opened if the weather permits. Our wedding is scheduled for May - we'll let you know how it goes and update this review then!

Minor drawbacks include tight-fitting chairs, some stiff sightlines if you're in the balcony, narrow stairs and the bathrooms being in the basement.

He's the type of person you can talk to for hours yet it feels like minutes. Good guy! My fiancé was so quiet I couldn't tell if he liked the venue I was getting worried. when the tour was complete and we were in the parking lot he looked at me and said this is the one I was beyond excited and it was time to start planning. They directed me to the caterer, DJ Mike with Fernando productions, the photographer Jared Cook with JC photography, the florists, etc. I got the best of the best! I was blown away seeing all the final touches Jodie and Eric did. Candles were lit, rose petals were down, music filled the air and they did it with smiles on their faces and were ready to make my day one to remember. This place felt so alive and magical. They treated me like family. I felt so comfortable. I wish I can do it all over again and I wouldn't change a thing. Jodie and Eric was with us step by step. They directed us the whole way through. My hubby and I got lost a moment when we were cutting the cake and all we had to do was look at Eric and we were back on track.I had one of the hardest dresses to bustle and both Jodie and Eric jumped in and got it figured out together.They love what they do and they do it flawlessly. And ladies make sure to tell your guests that the centerpieces aren't available for take home..my mother thought they were and had her eye on a gold glitter tree. I was so embarrassed she ran off with it but it turned out to be one of the best highlights of the night. Eric had a good time teasing me about it and a hilliarious video surfaced on social media that has me laughing to this day still.
