They will not work with me to try to resolve the issue. Currently I cannot even sleep on this mattress due to lower back pain the sagging is way more than an inch that they measured. We selected the couch based on recommendations from the salesperson on how sturdy and awesome this recliner is and that each item is made to order. This is not the fault of couch potato however they sold the product and guaranteed the product so they assumed liability to fix the product. They collected my couch earlier this year to have it sent to an upholsterer and fixed. It is now nearly May and we have gotten the runaround week after week with a myriad of excuses every time you say something the first line of defense is because of covid. This location is big and the price is very competitive with other places. In general, the products sold are cheaper than other retailers. However, it is not always the best price. So you have to do some research to get the best valued deals. For your information, nowadays many places do not allow taking pictures or videos inside their store unless you have permission to do so. I was taking a picture while shopping but a young staff member stopped me. She questioned me and asked if I had permission to do so. After I explained that I did not, she told me to apply for it through the company.

(An awesome one I might add) The manager promised (I will try to add the e-mail to the pictures) that I would have a delivery date by 2/14, and if not, I would receive a phone call. February came and went with not one word from Ashley furniture. MARCH 17th rolls around, and I get a random phone call from a guy I have never talked to at Ashley. My furniture is in! When do I want them to deliver it? I said, "Um, never." You breached your contract so many times I will not accept this furniture any longer. 5 months. That's how long it took for someone to call me with actual furniture to put in my house. I'm not sure about you, but when I sign a contract that says 4-6 weeks and I am told it is an estimate and that could be "a little" late, I think that means 1-3 weeks TOPS. NOT 5 MONTHS. So for now, I am sticking with my old, paid for furniture. And next time I shop, I will be a much wiser consumer.

I will start by saying that I read most of the reviews for several Ashley Furniture locations…read morebefore shopping there. Most of the complaints I read are the same thing I dealt with. I read the reviews and went there anyway, so I'm a dumbass. We learned upon arriving at the store that it is only an outlet. Everything you buy, with the exception of discontinued floor models, has not been manufactured yet. So the only plus is that you get EXACTLY what you want. You won't be compromising for what's on the sales floor. On the other hand nothing has been made yet, so they will tell you that it will take 4-8 weeks for delivery. So if you're trying to fill a new house, don't shop here. That said we picked out a dresser and entertainment center that we liked and made the order. They, of course, informed us that it would take 4-8 weeks and we would receive regular phone calls keeping us up to date on our order. From week 4 to week 8 we did indeed receive phone calls. It was always the same, "We're on track to deliver your items", but never any mention of WHEN they'd be delivering. After week 8 we no longer received any phone calls. I had to call THEM every couple of days to get the status, which of course they had no idea what the status was. We'd get promises to call us back with information which usually ended with me calling THEM after waiting a day or two after when they'd promised to call. Finally at week TEN we are told that our items are on a truck and would be expected to arrive that Friday with a potential delivery the following week. During the next week though we received NO PHONE CALLS. At the end of that week however we get another phone call that our items have been received and would be out for delivery the following Tuesday. The items showed up on time. However one of the knobs on the entertainment center was so badly cross threaded that the head of the screw was completely stripped out. I don't know if this was done by the guy who assembled this or back at the factory. But it comes down to this, if it's not going on right...don't force it. The delivery guy got the knob off, found another screw, and proceeded to get it cross threaded even worse than the first try. After the phillips head was severely ground out and there was no way to get the knob off again he gave up. Currently I am awaiting a phone call from a "technician" to schedule a time to come out and replace the knob. I was promised a call by 12pm. It is currently 12:25pm. The saga continues. The furniture that we bought is manufactured in Clayton, CA. That's southern CA. It took over 10 weeks to build two pieces of furniture and deliver it to a location five hours away. I'm not very impressed, and I won't be buying from them again. In the future I'll just resort to compromising with what's on the sales floor....somewhere else.

Cassie seemed very nice and entered the order into the system. I handed her my credit card while she proceeded to enter my information into the system. I should of know things would go bad when she didn't even bother to read the name on the credit card and completely messed up my first and last name. I brought the kitchen table and chairs home(they had them in stock) and proceeded to assemble the items. All was going well till the very end when I righted the table and found it damaged on one corner. I contacted Grand Estate Furniture the very next day, because it was 7pm at night by now, to let them know the table was damaged. I was told I would need to speak with the warehouse and was given a number to call. (Really?? "I" need to make another call to handle the problem???) I called the number, which no one answered, so I left a message. Days go by and no one called me; I call again. I was told someone would call me back. Finally Guy calls me back and tells me that someone will need to come out and document everything and that someone would call me back to set that up. Days go by again, and no phone call. I call the warehouse and leave a message and then call the store. Then I get a call from Daniel, who apologizes and tell me how they are short handed and blah. blah, blah. (Really, in this economy glad to hear you are so busy) He tells me I will get a call back to setup the appointment. Another person calls me, did not write his name down, and sets up an appointment for Thursday. At this point it has been almost two weeks. Thursday comes and goes, no phone call, no one shows, At this point my schedule gets busy and I am unable to deal with the problem. Finally after more than 4 weeks, I contact Grand Estate Furniture again at about 10AM and speak with Cassie Alarcio again and explain how unhappy I am. She assures me that she will immediately handle the problem and get back to me before the end of the day and let me know how she will have the problem fixed. She also apologizes for whom ever enter my information incorrectly into the system. (She was the one who entered it.) 6PM comes and no phone call. I call Grand Estate Furniture, to my surprise someone answers. I asked to speak to the owner. I am told that the owner is rarely in and that I should just explain my problem. I basically told the person I was over the situation and want to return everything for a full refund. As soon as I give my name I get a song and dance about how they heard my voice mail from a previous phone call and I should speak to so and so to get everything handled. I again tell them that I only want to speak to the owner. They took my info and hung up. An hour later I get a phone call from someone else to come the next day between 5pm and 7pm to document the problem (Dinner Time). I tell them that, that time is inconvenient but if they really want to come then, then ok. So this is where I am at so far. EDIT: I received several phone calls today from various people at Grand Estate Furniture today. Seems they do care about what their customers have to say and also monitor the feed back from this site. Daniel called to get everything straightened out. He was able to get a new table out within hours. THANK YOU Daniel. I hope that Grande Estate Furniture continues to grow their customer service responsiveness. Also the furniture they sale is at a fair price and I would say worth the money. In addition Daniel told me that they did try to come by on the Thursday that they had setup the appointment, but somehow had the wrong address.

While loading the item, store staff discovered an essential part was missing, they ordered the part saying it would be 2 weeks but no longer than 4 weeks. At 4 weeks I stopped in the store since I had not heard anything. I was told they would call me back the next business day, no call came. After several phone calls that I made (never called by store), I was told the part had been shipped and it should arrive in less than two weeks. After another two weeks I still had not heard anything, messages left at the store went unanswered, and when I did speak to someone I was told someone would call me back by the end of the day. No calls came. This pattern of contacts and calls continued for several more weeks. 12 weeks after purchase I gave up. I loaded the Ashley furniture item still missing the essential part for assembly in my truck at went to the store for a refund. I was directed to the store manager who told me she was not authorized to take returns or make refunds and offered me in store credit. A MANAGER NOT AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT RETURNS OR MAKE REFUNDS?? REALLY?? I was also told for the first time the part was back ordered, and they did not know how long it would be until it arrived. I was shocked they would not refund my money since the store had not provided what they sold me, and I had been politely waiting for 3 months. AFTER 1HOUR of arguing the only option was to refund my money and the manager refusing, I finally got a refund. The manger stated in a very dishonest way "As I said before, I can give you a in store credit, or refund your money" I purchased a similar Ashley furniture item online from a unrelated store and received in 2 weeks. NOTE: Grande Estate Furniture site is also wearhouse and call center for Ashley Home Furniture in Santa Maria and is under same ownership, while standing at there office/call center over heard many calls from frustrated and dissatisfied customers from both stores.
