HERE IS A HUGE WARNING TO NEVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE. !!! I ordered a couch loveseat and Dining Room set back in December and they told us it would be about 6 weeks for it to be delivered. 6 weeks came and no update. Those 6 weeks turned into 7,8,9,10 until it was until 3 months AFTER in March that I finally had it with the horrible communication and called them to ask for an update, they told me the whole time they had my order. HOW COME THEY NEVER CALLED ME. Anyways, I scheduled for a delivery and that day they never showed up. I had to call again to reschedule since they didn't bother to call me. I scheduled delivery that day early morning because I can errands to run after. They told me I would be the first delivery that day. I waited and waited and nothing. So of course I had to call back again and they told me that the delivery driver was running late. HOW IS THE DRIVER RUNNING HOURS LATE IF IM THE FIRST DROP OFF. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE PEOPLE. Finally I had enough and threatened to dispute my charge on my credit card and they finally got scared or something and delivered my furniture the next day. Sadly another issue occurred, some wood on the dining room table was chipped off/damaged. So again I had to contact them again to order a replacement for it and they just had me fill out a form, that they make bad reviews sign. IT'S BEEN SINCE MARCH. WE ARE IN MAY. AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY CALLS. I am definitely going to dispute my charge soon!!! Save your time and sanity and shop at STYLEHOUSE in Nipomo instead. They have great communication and customer service. When I ordered from them they called me weekly to update my order status and apologized for any delays. AGAIN BEWARE AND NEVER SHOP HERE. Everything went smoothly from the ordering, timely delivery and helpful, courteous staff. Except, it was the wrong mattress! My husband picked up on it right away and mentioned it to the delivery men (Efren and Leo). They went back to the store, checked it out and came back with the correct mattress within hours. Worst experience ever. Do not buy anything from them. Ordered beds in February and still have not had delivery or even a call from them. Went in to talk to manager after 90 days and no delivery. Said we needed to wait until they had a big enough order to get items from their warehouse. We started receiving payment notices from the credit card company and we made several payments on furniture we still do not have. Considering legal action as it is now 5 months and still no furniture delivery. read more

Furniture Land in Santa Maria is a fairly new store...actually watched the construction for several months before "opening". It's a large store and lots of fun (even if you're not looking to make a purchase) just to walk through, for no other reason than to just walk through! Look up...the Chandeliers are AMAZING! There were also some very unique items of furniture (see pics) that were eye catching. Do ya like furniture...perhaps "dreaming" of replacing your dining room set, your couch, sitting chair or bed...well then, Furniture Land is perfect for you. And if you decide "the price is right", well then my fellow furniture fan...just "pull the trigger" so to speak. The business has many Sales Associates in the store like NADER (he's personable and fabulous), and he would be happy to assist you in your search and selection. Another nice factoid...the prices seemed very reasonable and can be financed with low monthly payments (clearly listed on the price tag signage).We walked in with great anticipation and even though I didn't make a purchase...we walked out totally satisfied! On this occasion...in this Yelper's opinion, Furniture Land in Santa Maria is our new local Levitz or R.C. Wiley's and hits the mark...earning this "highly recommend" 5 Star review. read more

The variety of furniture that they offer is extensive. My wife and I ordered two leather recliners and had them delivered. Peter and Will were very helpful in the store. Adrian and Efrain delivered the recliners and did a fantastic job. Communication from the office and from the drivers about the delivery time was excellent. Everything went very well! read more

It literally took about three months for a bed to come and when it came, they had sent the wrong color! We ordered a day bed and we insisted to bring a measuring tape to see which mattress would fit underneath, but the salesman insisted all the mattresses fit. We purchased a dining table from Furniture Land in January 2026. It is now March, and we still have no table and no proactive communication from the store. At the time of purchase, we were told delivery would be around Super Bowl, or no later than Valentine's Day. Neither timeline was met. Furniture Land never contacted us with updates--we had to call multiple times ourselves. When we went back into the store, staff refused to help us on the sales floor and told us, "You already purchased, go upstairs." We dealt with Emily who attempted to seem to want to help, but she didn't follow through and failed to call my husband back with an update. My husband spoke with Mauricio where he offered no apologies, no accountability, and no effort to resolve the issue, no one offered to investigate or follow up. We were charged twice on our credit card without receiving any product, forcing us to file a dispute with our credit card company. Warning to other customers: Do not assume promised delivery dates will be honored, and do not expect follow-up or customer service once they have your payment. Buyer beware. Do not expect your furniture to deliver on time or to get updates as to when it may be delivered. We purchased a couch in early January and I was informed that delivery would take three to six weeks. I called for an update several times to get a better estimate to make arrangements for delivery. Every time I called they said it was on a truck expected next week. This same information was given three times. They also told me the sales rep would call or text me with an update and they never reached out. I'm extremely disappointed with their business model and lack of transparency. I stopped by Furniture Land on Mother's Day, looking for a reclining loveseat. A friendly young man, by the name of Kenny, greeted me and asked how he could help. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and it was delivered about 2 1/2wks later. Everything went very smooth and it was the best experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. Ordered a sofa Feb, 09, 2026 and have yet to receive anything. Was told "6 to 8 weeks" and now here we are almost in May. Had to call them for the past 4 weeks to get any kind of information and get the usual "wait until Friday and we will call you back." Thank god I don't hold my breath because not once have they called me back. They are very friendly and attentive when they try and get you to buy but disappear when they get your money. Lynette from customer service said it will get here sometime next week so I will update you on this. Went in, in December for a new bedroom set and mattress. Our bedroom set was delivered about a month and a half ago with the WRONG mattress. Called the store, they said they had ordered the wrong mattress and would deliver as soon as it arrived. Fast fwd, it's almost May and we received a call yesterday that our matress would be delivered, only to receive another call today that they had ordered the WRONG mattress again! What we thought would be a great experience is now turning into the worst. Please think twice before purchasing here. They did provide a loaner mattress (not the same as the one we ordered) we have been paying for something that isn't what we wanted, so sad! read more

We went in to purchase some furniture back in November. Ended up getting a full bedroom set (bed frame, dresser, bedside table, & mirror) as well as a new mattress and pillows. We were told it would be ready and delivered in 6 weeks. Well it was not. Received no communication at all, had to call SEVERAL times to get any sort of information or update. Eventually we received a loaner mattress, the bed frame, mirror and dresser. We still have not received our bedside table or pillows and it is now April. I dont know if we just got bad luck, bad service or a combo of the 2 but we won't be ordering from here again or any furniture store for that matter. We went in on a whim when we saw the store was Open, I believe it was like their 2nd or 3rd business day. Anyways, we ended up purchasing a long awaited daybed for our daughter and a matching Ottoman. We purchased it on 11/22/25. Was told it would take about 10 days to arrive but we said we would do pick up because we needed to get rid of her current furniture first to have room for the new set. Was told no problem, that they could store the new furniture in their warehouse until we could pick up. Well we were able to see old furniture within 2 weeks. Called the Furniture Land to get update was about 2 weeks after our purchase, was told it hadnt shipped yet :( Still had to wait. To make a very long story short... we kept getting told it was coming then when I finally went into customer service in person because my daughter was now sleeping on an air mattress, I was told that it normally takes 2 to 3 weeks for delivery and that evidently the brand of furniture we bought is known to have delays also, NOT WHAT WE WERE TOLD AT TIME OF PURCHASE!! Was also told their trucks were being delayed because of the Christmas Holiday. We hadn't hit Christmas week yet when I went in person!! Her bed was FINALLY DELIVERED DECEMBER 27th!! Over a month later but the OTTOMAN WAS A NO SHOW, upon investigating it DIDNT SHIP!! UGH!!!! After complaining and getting that squared away the Ottoman finally just showed up on Friday the 9th of January. So what was supposed to be part of her Christmas present of a room makeover was ruined. The amount of phone calls, drive time to and from the store to check on our order and the inconvenience of having to stay on top of our order and making sure our daughter had a bed to sleep on is not worth recommending this store or purchasing again from the store. Never again will we purchase anything from this store. I purchased a couch which needed to be shipped from a warehouse as we were told so that was okay. They told us 2-3 weeks or longest it's 4 weeks, okay we understood that so we still purchased it. It's been 3 months and we haven't received our full couch. We had to literally keep calling because each time the delivery kept changing. Please save your money and go somewhere else! Till this day we are missing a piece of our couch. I spoke to a smager and she literally said it's not our fault it's the shipping manufacturer?? This should've been explained to us before we purchased the couch we would've gone else where that actually helps their customers. They make you sign a paper saying they are not liable if the shipping manufacturer doesn't deliver on time. Horrible just horrible. read more

it was a disaster buying furniture from them. we spent 4 thousand on furniture and the quality was terrible. First they told us we will receive everything within 2-3 weeks but we didn't after a month. Finally when we received the furniture it was half of them and the delivery person doesn't even know about the full delivery. Dining table came cracked, we had to return it. Second delivery coffee table came broken. had to return again. When we call the store about it and asked them when we will get those items back they had no answer and we had to get our refund. Not only that we b a mattress from them as well along with furniture. we didn't receive the one we chose. very bad quality after using 2 months i because so bouncy but we wanted a frim mattress. Big store with a great selection. Found the perfect coffee table and end tables for the family room at a good price. They took two weeks to arrive as expected. Lynette (a very sweet and efficient lady in customer service) called us and set up a delivery window. Esteban and Daniel called us 1 hour earlier than expected and said they would be at our house in 15 minutes and they were. The guys were very polite and did a great job setting up our tables, taking away all the boxes and wrappings. We are very happy with their service. We will buy from Furniture Land again. read more
