I'm so over this store. They lock up nail polish remover and nail files. Cheap stuff behind a glass door. It's a hassle to grab someone to get these opened for product, and then you HAVE to pay for what you want in that department. Last time I was there, buying some cheap Maybelline under eye stuff, the clerk had the nerve to say "It's like Gottchalks where they had the makeup behind the counter." Um, no. This is cheap drugstore stuff, not high-end makeup. So, thanks local Walmart store - you are pushing me to skip you entirely and just order at Amazon simply to avoid the annoying hassle of cheap crap behind a locked case.

I went into get this cute cheetah corset thing but it looked like shape wear in person so nope I did not buy it. I did previously by the jacket in this picture. The sizing is off. I bought an xs and it still is a tad big. So it is not true to size but it is a cute jacket.

A receipt from walmart and they didn't give me the third penny.

I very sad and disappointed i loved this walmart but they didn't give all my change back.

Dodgers shirts are not going to sell here!

I have been going here for years and I'm shocked about the fan apparel changing within the store and this is on Walmart Corporate who made the change according to customer service, not the employees at this store. I went in to stock up on fresh new gear for the baseball season and the store changed to all Los Angeles teams. I asked customer service why this store lost all of its SF Giants gear, SF Niners, and Golden State Warriors gear and she laughed with me too since no one is buying it. Your employees here even are wondering why? They're Bay Area sports fans. Walmart Corporate, this area is predominantly SF fans. Run survey's before just making assumptions based on mileage to the next biggest city. This LA gear is not going to sell here, move it along and put back the SF teams. Just trying to help you out lol...

The young man comes out from the back, with attitude hits the button and says, "yeah?" I say I want to trade in my old game and put it towards the new one. "You have to do that up front." He turns and walks away. Then I proceeded to walk up front, and tell the older, blonde woman, behind the returns/exchange and she looks at me, with attitude, "I've never heard of this, I've been here 14 years and I've never done this or saw this!" Almost Aggressively says I can't return it because it's open. I go well, I want to trade it in towards the new one, I've done this for years." She calls two managers and they look at me like and say dismissively, "I've never heard of this." Tell them to look online even if you would like on YouTube and I showed them online that target talks about trade-ins. they then tell me I've never heard of this. They look it up and then tell me I would have to do it through the mail and online. at this point I feel as if they're accusing me of doing something or trying to pull something over them so I give up completely and just say all right I'll buy the game, just to end this weird interaction. *Overall, this target has horrendous customer service and shows why everything is going to online, AI, and robots!*

My little one chose a game, which was paid for at checkout so he could open and enjoy it while I continued shopping. Simple enough, right? Wrong. The game was broken. Straight out of the package. Not dropped, not mishandled -- broken on purchase. Here's where it gets truly unhinged. We returned to the register with the game and its broken pieces only to be informed that Daiso has a strict NO returns, NO exchanges, NO refunds policy -- and that this policy applies even to items that are defective or broken out of the box. I pointed out that when a customer makes a purchase, there is a reasonable and legally implied expectation that the product is whole and in working condition. This is not an opinion -- it's basic consumer law. While the checker agreed before the manager came to assist, the manager disagreed. Loudly. The manager eventually relented and agreed to issued a refund -- but not before the manager pulled what can only be described as a petty power move: she/he demanded I verbally agree to DAISO's terms and state aloud that I would NEVER request a return or refund again and asked whether I UNDERSTOOD! This happened in front of other customers in line at check out and directly behind us as a condition of receiving money back for THEIR defective product. I'm sorry -- what?? I put back every other item I had planned to purchase, walked out, and I'm now writing this review instead of spending more money there. Consumers, take note and pass this on: Daiso's policy essentially means you are buying everything AS-IS with zero recourse, including items that don't work the moment you open them. That is not a bargain -- that is a gamble. And when you lose, don't expect dignity on the way out. "Overpriced cheap junk" is being polite. Pair that with management that demeans customers at the price of a refund, and you have a store that deserves to lose every dollar it would have made from loyal shoppers. Shop here at your own risk. You've been warned.
