Maria was the lady that we spoke too and she was very kind and friendly. She introduced us to Manny and we told Many what we are looking for. Manny hooked it up. He gave us a super good deals on bedroom set and big ass TV stand. The delivery was free and the set up was free! That alone was a savings. I told him I'm coming back for more if he hook us up with some good tamales. A few days later we came back and both another bed and mattress, chairs and a futon. Of course Manny and Maria hook led us up again with the same deal. We were so happy and I'm giving them 5 STARS for the awesome customer service. There were multiple failed repair attempts and missed appointments, and the couch was repeatedly returned to me still broken. At no point was a replacement or refund offered for a product that failed almost immediately. I financed the purchase through Kafene, believing it would help build my credit. Unfortunately, payments could not be paused while the issue was being addressed. To avoid damaging my credit, I was forced to continue paying for a couch that stopped working just two days after delivery. I also purchased the Guardian protection plan for $150, which is advertised to cover accidents in the home. Because this was a manufacturer defect, I was told the claim could not be applied appropriately, resulting in the loss of $150. This meant I could not use the plan for an actual accidental claim. Additionally, Guardian ultimately pays Half Price Furniture directly for approved claims, which felt misleading given how this situation was handled. I filed complaints with the Nevada Consumer Affairs office and the BBB, but Half Price Furniture does not respond, as they are not BBB-accredited. Instead of standing behind their product, responsibility was repeatedly shifted away from the store and onto third parties. I was left to navigate the issue on my own, with no meaningful support or resolution. If you receive defective furniture from this store, be aware that you may not receive adequate assistance, even when the failure occurs almost immediately.

We were on the verge of buying one, but decided it couldn't hurt to first drive over to this Half Price Mattress store that was only about 5 miles away, just to compare the mattresses and prices there. The name of the store had us feeling skeptical, but I had taken note of a highly positive review for them here on Yelp! -- so off we went. We are very glad that we came to this store. We were assisted by Cristina, who was friendly and informative, offering us details about the benefits and differences of the Queen mattresses she had in stock or could order for delivery within a week. We both ended up liking a particular mattress from a company we had not previously heard of, for which the price was about $4K less than the one we had nearly bought at that other store! Completing the purchase was quick and easy, and to our surprise the 3rd-party delivery driver brought it to our house only about 2 hours later that same day, and laid it atop the Ikea bed. All in all, a good experience: a very pleasant interaction with Cristina, and that evening we had our new mattress, plus we had saved a nice chunk of money. I would absolutely recommend making sure that you pay a visit to Cristina at this store when you are comparing mattress comfort levels and prices.

It caused various family members extreme rashes, likely because they have to be treated with chemicals to make sure any germs are exterminated. Although all of the mattresses were identical looking ( except the black one he brought by "mistake") only some had tags stating "post consumer materials, do not remove this tag", leading me to believe that some of the tags were removed. He never once mentioned I be getting a box spring made of used materials and since I have extreme allergic reactions, there is NO WAY I would have purchased these. Below was my original complaint. As of right now, I can not in good conscience recommend this company at all. On June 11th, we were told they would deliver between 6:30 and 7:30. We waited until well after 9 PM and they were No Shows. We missed an event we needed to attend. Even though they had just told me they would see me soon and they had the gate code, unfortunately they claimed this was my fault because though my delivery was confirmed, they claimed they tried to call me before they showed up and because I didn't answer my cell phone, which was in my purse upstairs, they just decided not to come. There were no apologies, just blame and trying to justify why they left us waiting. After 2 days of rude snarky responses I'd be happy to post and accusations and insinuations that I was a competitor out to get them, I suggested that if they have so much paranoia, they should require payment up front and sent them a Paypal. Next, delivery was arranged for June 14th at 6:30 PM. We waited home though we had other places to be. At 6:19, we get a message that the delivery driver is not going to arrive until 9 PM. 9 PM rolls around and of course at this point, all personal plans are cancelled and we've waited until 9 Pm. At 9:04 PM we get a message stating that he is not coming tonight either. That I need to choose another delivery time. I message them this afternoon at around 4 PM to ask when they can bring the items. I did not receive any responses and it is now 6/16. The company is unreliable. They have my payment of 570 something and so far, I can't say anything good about them. I am very unhappy that they don't respect my time and have left me hanging multiple times. ***Update: Yesterday they finally showed up. All the items were supposed to be WHITE but one box spring was BLACK and did not match the other that was supposed to go in the same room. I had purposefully asked to make sure all items would be white prior to purchase, but there was the black one. The delivery person stated he would come back tomorrow which is today 6/17 at 6:30 PM when he gets off from work. I still gave the delivery guy a tip, after all the nonsense this company put us through, along with the wrong item. Today I checked my email from the owner to make sure they were still coming to bring the WHITE box spring and this is what it said: "I will refund you back the cost of the twin box spring that we were given back. I suggest you get the box spring from somewhere else who can accommodate you better than I have been able to...I am sorry but at this point with the bad review that you have given us. I think it is in the interest of both of us to end business and I will go ahead and send you the refund for the 1 twin box spring. So, apparently because I gave them a negative review, which could have been revised, now I am stuck with non matching furniture for my childrens' room? This is beyond childish. At first I was weary because it was a 775 number and they only accepted cash and they just asked me to text my home address so it didn't "feel" very official but sure enough they delivered an awesome brand new mattress set on time and for the price they told me over the phone.
