So let me preface this as we liked the restaurant. The food was good with two glaring problems…read more The good: My partner liked his burger, said it was juicy and tasted good. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent, it was the best dish we got. Fish was fried a bit hard but still tasted good. The Raspberry Mojito was decent, the mint added didn't add anything but didn't take anything away. The service was fine, nothing amazing but nothing bad. It was dead when we went just some people at the bar and some golf bros that came in as we were leaving. The bad: Please offer bottled water, that tap water tastes straight from the lake. If it is bottle water it's the cheapest water I've tasted. Good thing I ordered lemon with it. The fries, there was so much salt that they burned to eat. Whoever was so heavy handed with the salt needs to scale it back a bit or offer the fries by default without salt. They had a good taste but it was lost to extreme sodium. The inside was clean, like I said it was dead so it was organized. The bathroom floor was sticky but it's not the worst bathroom I've been in. We might come back, we really enjoyed the mushrooms but I got my entire sodium allowance with just a couple of the fries. We barely ate the fries, yet we're not comped them as we stated they were bad. They removed the soda I had to ask for to get the salt out of my mouth because that water tasted so bad. Both plates of fries went back after the complaint and we still had to pay for them.

During this visit, I ordered the cheeseburger soup, three egg omelet with sausage, mushrooms, and American cheese, side of home fries, and side of sausage gravy. The Pros: The sausage in the omelet was ground sausage which was delicious. Some local breakfast places use ground sausage and others cut up sausage links or sausage Pattie's. The sausage gravy was flavorful in my opinion. The cheeseburger soup was worth getting for sure. The cons: The entire omelet and the home fries tasted saturated on cooking oil. It was hard to get the after taste out of my mouth. The omelet eggs were not fluffy compared similar breakfast locations in the area. Unfortunately, the home fries were not cooked consistently and lack of flavor besides the strong oil taste. All of the staff were super friendly and the restaurant seemed to be busy during Wednesday before 11am.

Really appreciate having this place close to the soccer fields by Football Hall of Fame, so I can feel like my kiddo is getting the right fuel in between games. We enjoyed our lunches. I had a make your own bowl and he had a flatbread. The vitamin enhanced the water/tea? was also tasty. And confess to finishing with a dark chocolate Buckeye. Yum! I hope they stay in business. That is because they are extremely freezer burnt. They keep them in their freezer if you don't believe me just go pull a box out of the freezer and smell the box of cleanwiches! I almost never leave bad reviews, but I had to for this. Those owners should be ashamed of themselves. How can you call it clean when it has a prop 65 cancer warning right on the box??? I looked at the ingredients and it has so many terrible chemicals I bought it assuming it was clean. My mistake but also not even edible!! TERRIBLE SMELL OF RANK FREEZER BURN! You can smell it without even opening the box. Just pull a box out of their freezer and smell it. Once u open an actual sandwich cookie plastic it's even worse!! & guess what? No expiration date on the box or the actual plastic that is because there is no expiration date. I threw them all in the trash then wrote this.

I really wanted the spinach feta pie, but they were out, so I got the tuna pita instead, which was wonderful. I was there with a party of five (including my child) and everyone was really happy with their meals. The service was fantastic and friendly. My parents were a little late arriving, so my son enjoyed playing in the little toy kitchen set-up they had in the corner. (He found dinosaurs in one of the containers, so he was in his element.) What a great distraction for the kiddos, along with coloring books and crayons. We all had dessert too and while I didn't get to try the baklava, I think among all of the others the limoncello was my favorite. Very cool ambiance. As for the decor, it is cluttered and quirky and very Greek. Loved every corner. Even some historic politicians were enjoying the food and the ambiance. Opa!

The flaming cheese was an "Opa" inducing spectacle for the whole restaurant to marvel. And it tasted great! As did the Athens fries (it's amazing what a little vinaigrette and feta can do)! The gyro also did not disappoint. My wife ordered a Turkey melt, which she thought was okay. I think the lesson is to order Mediterranean from a Mediterranean restaurant, and you won't be disappointed.
