We sat outside on the upper patio and there were servers that checked on other tables but didn't check on us. Not sure if it's because we carried our food and drinks up from the counter ourselves or how that works. Two of us ordered the lucky charm matcha (good luck charm?), the description sounded amazing. The actual drink was less so, just matcha and oat milk and whipped cream- when I asked about the lucky charm marshmallows I was told they have been out of them for weeks. I might've ordered a different drink if I'd known that, it sort of sold me! The food was good, we ordered the dumplings, cinnamon roll, raspberry rhubarb pop tart, and tiramisu. The best thing of all was the cinnamon roll, the tang of the cream cheese icing kept everything from being too sweet. The tiramisu was beautiful presented and the cream was fantastic, the lady fingers were over soaked in strong espresso, we couldn't finish that element. The pop tart was lovely. Couldn't tell if the dumps were frozen or homemade but they tasted good, and we loved the carrot salad they came with. All in all a great experience, and will be wonderful to return to in this warm season with such a nice double decker patio!

Since the last time I couldn't stop thinking about the Lobster Bisque and unfortunately this visit something changed with the recipe or preparation. So this most likely changed my entire perception of everything, but there is one thing that my wife and agreed on and that was the complimentary bread. It had no flavor and tasted dry and stale at room temperature and what ruined it was ice-cold unsalted butter. My salad house salad was okay and the white French dressing was just okay. My wife enjoyed her Caesar Salad. Our appetizer was the highlight of the evening as their version of Bang Bang Shrimp was AMAZING enveloped in filo pastry with a cheese mixture inside that surprised us. The dipping sauce wasn't even needed. My wife enjoyed her Surf and Turf. My Ribeye was more on the rare side which I ordered Med Rare so I took 75% home with me and just cooked it. Because dessert for us. We were impressed that they offered us complimentary Prosecco which added a nice touch. We had great service and impressed that the owner once again came over to our table to check on us multiple times. I'm unsure what happened to that outstanding Lobster Bisque!!!!

This was our second time at good fortune and we were just a pleased as we were the first time. There are two types of restaurants, some that feel they have to go over the top on decor and atmosphere to make up for the fact that their food is mediocre and others that let there food speak for itself. Good fortune is the latter. It definitely has a fun retro vibe, but the cocktails and food are what you come for. First, let's discuss their old fashioned. It is the perfect blend of smooth and sweet. Also- their ice cubes are top notch. If you're thinking this doesn't make a difference in a drink, think again. They are clear as glass and do not melt quickly, so you can enjoy your drink without it getting watered down as you sip. This was the second time we ordered the party eggs and they were incredible. When they brought them out I felt myself become a little disappointed when I saw they were not a traditional deviled egg like they had been in the past. But as soon as I took a bite I quickly recanted that notion and was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were pickled perfection with a nice touch of spice and crunch on top. The asparagus was everything. Tender with lightly crisped florets, topped with a beautifully seasoned harissa and herb dressing. This creative approach to a traditional vegetable dish made it a stand out. The loaded potatoes, y'all! A great blend of hearty, starchy and creamy. The creme fraiche added class and sophistication to this crowd pleasing dish. Bread Pudding- Roman (head chef of good fortune) told us to think of it as the offspring of bread pudding and monkey bread. He wasn't wrong. It was the custardy goodness that you want from bread pudding topped with the salty, carmely goodness of monkey bread, served a la mode. It got better with every single bite as the icecream begin to melt into the dish. All this to say, GO HERE!!!! The staff is incredibly kind and personable. And the food is exactly what this area needs. It feels nostalgic but inventive at the same time. I can't wait to go back to try their next seasonal menu. Way to go good fortune. This is our new favorite place.

We started with the pierogies, which I highly recommend and would give it five stars. The salmon was perfectly cooked. and while a smaller portion, plenty for dinner. The blackened chicken Penny was pretty good as well. Chicken was perfectly cooked although not terribly spicy. Drink prices were very reasonable. Only disappointment was probably the dessert. Had the Doubletree cookie dough Ala mode. It was OK, but honestly none of the desserts on the list intrigued me.

We were staying in the hotel so it was a perfect option to grab some food this morning. We both went with the Breakfast buffet. I feel like the price point was a little high at $18.00 a person but that maybe the going rate now. For two of us it was $39.06 after tax, before tip. The food was good and I went with the buffet for the variety! Sundays I saw they have an awesome brunch menu that I would probably try next time as so much sounded good. The Breakfast Buffet offered: - Scrambled eggs (served hot) - Breakfast potatoes (served hot) -Turkey sausage, pork sausage, bacon (served hot) - Biscuits & Gravy (served hot) - Pancakes (served hot) - Breakfast pastries and danish - Fresh whole and diced fruit - Individual packages yogurt - Assorted cereals & granola - Oatmeal -Toast station with assorted sliced bread and bagels It was a very nice space and updated dining area. Very modern look and feel. It was a great choice to have breakfast here and am betting their dinner options were good to given the menu and crowd the night before.
