Bought two boxes of "cleanwich" cookies (24 bucks) then when I get home, I realize they have the prop 65 cancer warning on them and also that they smell very badly! That is because they are extremely freezer burnt. They keep them in their freezer if you don't believe me just go pull a box out of the freezer and smell the box of cleanwiches! I almost never leave bad reviews, but I had to for this. Those owners should be ashamed of themselves. How can you call it clean when it has a prop 65 cancer warning right on the box??? I looked at the ingredients and it has so many terrible chemicals I bought it assuming it was clean. My mistake but also not even edible!! TERRIBLE SMELL OF RANK FREEZER BURN! You can smell it without even opening the box. Just pull a box out of their freezer and smell it. Once u open an actual sandwich cookie plastic it's even worse!! & guess what? They have a nice cafe menu but also have weekly meal plans plus "to go" meals. That's a great option if you are busy, don't want/like to cook and still are trying to eat well. The cafe menu had some nice selections and I ordered the cranberry chicken salad. The cashier recommended the raspberry vinaigrette which paired nicely with this salad. The meals are super tasty, have a lot of variety, and are super interesting meals. We've used other companies before and have been disappointed by the lack of flavor or calories. This week I was in Canton OH on business. I saw good reviews for Clean Eatz on Yelp and decided to try it. It is a combination cafe, weekly meal plan to order ahead, pickup and take home and catering. I was attracted by the healthy and gluten free menu options. I went there for a late lunch. You order at the counter, the meal is individually prepared and then brought to your table. I was not disappointed...I chose the build-a-bowl where you pick your base, a protein, 3 veggies, seasoning and a sauce. I had the spinach, salmon, steamed veggies and with a Thai peanut sauce. It was excellent and flavorful without being overwhelmed by the peanut sauce. I liked it so much I took the gluten free beef brisket entree from the frozen food case for dinner later at my hotel. It was good and filling enough (not huge portions). The fun thing is when I looked it up online, it turns out they are a franchise and one just opened in Nashville! Plan to try it again. read more

I have been using Clean Eatz meals for about three weeks now. Overall, the food is good; high quality. The are nice to have, but I find some weeks I don't care for the menu. This would be true no matter where you go; can't please everyone all of the time. The good news is you can go to their store and buy previous meals that you know you like. I am getting the impression the owners are absentee or aren't getting messages from the employees. I purchased several flank steak dinners and the flank steak was very tough. Basically ineadible. I let the staff know, but never heard back. I bought several of those, but will stay away from that meal and would advise avoiding anything with flank steak. I also found out they don't label the meals you order from the menu, so remember what you ordered if you need the nutrition info. The meals from the store freezer are labeled. However, these are minor things and I have been pleased so far. It is better and cheaper than eating out every day. read more
