On way back, guy on right side of road did a u-turn *right in front of me*. I was going highway speed & had zero time to react. Totalled both cars. I was injured and concussed and needed to go to hospital. It's weird how when brain sprained you can't advocate for yourself. This is foreshadowing, and by the way Steamboat Radio your hospital should be ashamed of itself. The dogs disappeared into the Unknown before police arrived, thanks to help from a stranger. At the hospital, they did CT scan, found nothing--was soft-tissue injuries mainly--so they discharged me. One problem: I could not walk without crutches, had ribs bandaged due to "cartilage fractures," had bruised liver, and a concussion. Also, I had no shoes. The hospital called a taxi, paying for the ride, and told them to drop me off at the library. Which they did. So, I was on crutches, wearing hospital socks and no shoes, dazed and confused, sitting at the library only hours after a major car crash. I was shocked! iI takes all of 10 minutes a month for a staff member (no dr needed!) to shoot allergy serum in my arm that is premixed and I bring to Steamboat with me? The Gastro Dept. is the worst place I have ever received care if that's what you want to call it…read more Little to no communication. Very unprofessional care. They can't return a phone call or answer a message. I have left messages the last couple days with no call back. I still feel the same as I have for the last 3 months. All I hear is take this. I have been told this one procedure to look further in is really invasive and really expensive. Apparently, I don't look like I can afford medical care. I am clueless as to why I can't one of the medical doctors. If I could the appointment would probably be months out. The need to make multiple other appointments to get a referral for a specialist is a rip off. If you want a specialist appointment you have to make an appointment with your regular doctor to get a referral. After that you can only see the nurse PR actioner several times before you can see the MD DOC. If you make it that far. If you need to make a road trip to Denver for medical care I would do that.

I never feel rushed. 3. He is very knowledgeable, professional and a great bedside manner. 4. When I left I was very relieved and satisfied with his diagnosis. I WOULD BE VERY COMFORTABLE REFERRING HIM FOR ANY MEDICAL PROBLEM. HE IS A GREAT DOCTOR. I'm glad he's my doctor.
