Well, we just received the first round of our proofs, and my heart is literally overflowing with joy and emotion over how beautiful they are. Nina captured so many moments that I wasn't even aware of because how can one person be everywhere at once? It seems Nina and her assistant were! It should be said that I did not advise my family to arrive early for family portraits. (I didn't want to deal with corralling them.) Serendipitously, they did arrive early, and Nina quickly got them organized. Using the list of family members she had us prepare in advance, she calmly and efficiently captured beautiful family photos that will be treasured for our lifetimes. She also captured the most adorable pictures of my daughter with her friends and her cousins-- moments I was not even present for. Not only did it add a totally fun element to our celebration, but it also provided our guests with the best take home gift of all -- pictures of themseves! Troy was top notch when it came to scheduling and getting the job done. We booked almost a year in advance, and Troy kept in contact as the event approached. He sent a comprehensive questionnaire the month before, reviewing every detail to make sure the day perfect. There was some tight constraints with our venue on when we could get the booth set up. I know it was not an ideal situation, but Troy never complained and got it all done with plenty of time. His staff was helpful and organized, and also brought an element of fun. We asked to keep a photo strip of each group, and she patiently stood by the booth and separated the doubles all night. Other photo booths are more expensive, and we don't think it is worth it. Because this is an open air booth, the photos become a social place where people were jumping in and out of photos. This was one of our favorite parts of the evening. Troy does not know it, but he hasn't seen the end of us. We are already trying to think of an excuse to book it again!
