If you want a culinary experience - look no further. The fact that this club has the best views of all of Greater Cincinnati rivals the actual culinary experience. It's the best of the best. As a member of this club for over 8 years I can tell you they have the best NY Strip, scallops, and lobster bisque of any where. Ask for the bleu cheese crust on your NY strip (medium rare is my suggestion) - if they named their steaks they would name it after me. (I order it a lot!)

Metropolitan Club is always a treat. I got the chance to come for a private dinner and it was handled fantastically. Some favorites were the tuna, pear salad, and scallops. MC desserts are always impeccable.

I had their curbside carry out for the first time and it was amazing. We do miss the view inside the restaurant.

Worst club ever. Expected a great time, but all I got was food poisoning and a hospital bill.

Beautiful, scenic dining view of the Roebling bridge, the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. The food is good and the staff is excellent.

The cardio machines are all really maintained well and up to date. They have a Peloton bike which is my personal favorite to use. The highlight is their squash courts! They have two squash courts, both with view areas. The 4th floor gym/squash area is really warm, and welcoming and they have a TV with a large table where you can order food or a beer via the dumbwaiter! The food at University Club is PHENOMENAL. Whether you are going for lunch or dinner, there are always a variety of options to satisfy whatever craving you have. My personal favorite dishes are the buffalo shrimp which are a rather large appetizer but difficult to stop once you start eating! And they have a seafood pasta dish that is.... I dont even know how to put it in words... so delicious you will keep eating even when you are full! My lunch go-to is their Uclub salad which is probably my favorite salad in the city. If you have the chance, definitely check this place out. If you enjoy your time there, consider membership! The prices are very reasonable and they have special rates for young professionals.

While the club was open to others that night as well, they gave YDA shout outs on social media and welcomed us with open arms. There was no cover, and they hosted karaoke one night, even calling in another bartender when the bar got busy. I can only speak for the night I went and the fact that the party was catered to young people between the ages of 20-40, but the DJ played a good mix of songs from modern to hits from the 2000s. For us older partiers, it was a fun chance to introduce the "littles" to the music we liked growing up. While LGBTQ+ mainstream inclusion has expanded over the last 10-15 years, a lot of LGBTQ+ centered bars have closed. I've always felt more comfortable at those bars and we have few in my area. Plus, Birdcage is LGBTQ+ and Latinx owned. I had a Hot Boy Summer cocktail, which came in a 16 oz. pouch. The cocktail was about $11.50, which seems expensive at first, but it's 16 oz. and the pouch makes it safe. There's little chance of spilling your drink or having your drink spiked. I don't think that would happen here, but as a lady, you can't be too careful. I wish we had the "pouch drinks" when I was younger. The pouch cocktail is ice-free, so it doesn't water down. You can get regular cocktails, too. I had to wait a while, but it was worth it since I felt at home in the bar. If you're in Cincinnati and looking for a fun place to dance or do karaoke, check it out.

I go here every month for a private party and this was my first time here for no reason on a random weekend. I saw some familiar faces and even got hit on a few times. Typical club atmosphere but people seemed a little more polished and upscale. There was a heir of class about the place and its not a meat market like some other places. Drinks were basic bar standard. Nothing really signature about this place and nothing really stands out. ..but the downstairs. I thought the furniture was cool. The floor was slippery as hell! Now that it's Ivy Lounge, it looks like they're trying to be more of a cocktail bar, but they're not doing a very good job. First of all, we went up to the bar and I asked for a cocktail list. They looked at me like I was crazy and they said they don't have one. Then I asked them what wines they have. The bartender didn't even know....So I just got a bottle of beer (Fat Tire for $5.50 a bottle). They must be hiring bartenders based on looks, and not actually bartending skills. We got our drinks quickly though, so that was nice. The music was so loud at 10pm on a Saturday that we had to yell at each other, but no one was even dancing. It was just a really weird atmosphere...You couldn't dance, you couldn't talk....There was almost nothing to do but awkwardly stare at your drink or the weird decor. I don't think I'll be back.
