Very friendly place stopped in mid afternoon. Bartender greeted us like regulars. The place has a very cozy feel and Just felt comfortable. I went with my standard the old fashion well prepared and generous pour. Nice place I want to come back at night for the live music

One of the best rooms in the city! The vibe is impeccable, the drinks are delightful and the jazz is groovin'. This is our favorite place to either begin or end a date night. The bar and cocktail seating are comfy. Staff is welcoming and attentive, and the live jazz music sets a great mood. It's 21+ and the crowd is on the more sophisticated side, which makes for a more enjoyable evening.

The Harth Room is such a nice place. When I walked in, a live band was playing, and the room was dimly lit. It had sophisticated vibe that was really calming. Our bartender was very attentive and made fabulous cocktails. We had a great girls night that we will not forget.

long story short: a cozy spot for tasty cocktails & live music We went to the Härth Room for the first time on a Saturday night to catch some jazz. We were seated in the far back, away from the stage, but we could still hear & enjoy the music. The waiters were attentive, but also gave us our space, which allowed us plenty of time & privacy to drink & talk. The bar itself was very warm & welcoming, with fireplaces & dim lighting. We ordered the espresso martini & the amaretto sour. The espresso martini was too strong- both the vodka & the coffee- for my taste, but I definitely prefer sweeter drinks. The amaretto sour was delicious though. We also got a slice of tiramisu, which also had a strong coffee flavor but was better balanced. Overall, we had a wonderful night & look forward to going back sometime soon.

We went to the härth room for a night cap after being out, and it had the best vibes! It truly is a cozy jazz bar, the drinks were amazing. The spicy pickle margarita is something like I've never had before- I'm in love! Service was awesome and I love the snacks that they have to offer as well. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is next level nice! From the very very nice bartender to the offering of live music, this place is a winner. Very welcoming and would be a great place for a date or a girls' night out. Happy hour is a great deal.

Just snacks for food, but the ambiance is awesome for listening to live jazz music! It's got a classic feel. The first batch of drinks is a "10" The staff is great! When you are in Cincy, you HAVE to check the calendar for this place and visit!

I love it here. One inside shot. First time!

Five stars for the ambiance alone. I loved it. Feels like I'm truly in a jazz bar movie scene in my opinion. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. The cocktail and coffee vibe works well. The drinks were good. The Treat Yourself with added Baileys was amazing. Then they have different, unique snacks. We had pork belly Lay's, a dish that was house made red pepper dip with these amazing seasoned pita chips from a bag. Nope, the dish was not hummus. I'm already planning to take my family!

Date night! We had a wonderful experience and loved our evening out. This is an amazing spot downtown that I've been too many times when I used to travel to Cincinnati for work. With its location two short blocks from the Renaissance Marriott I would walk down the street to enjoy a cocktail and live music after a busy work day. Now that I live here I plan to take advantage of its proximity and cool vibes more frequently. Earlier in the week I attended a morning networking event and had an amazing almond milk latte at a chamber event. I couldn't wait to return and have the espresso martini which I did later in the week. It's a place you will want to return too again and again. It's my favorite Cincy bar. Looking forward to the next time!

Despite having such a large group, drinks were out fast and there was plenty of seating. 2 things stick out here: Decor and the Drinks. Both were impeccably done. The nature meets wood and brick aesthetic is so purposefully laid out and when the eye cruises across the landscape it's so satisfying!! We had a LOT of drinks, but the jade river, el toro rojo, and pacific muse were our favorites. The drinks are priced pretty well ($12-$14) and the service was very prompt, always cleaning up empty glasses and clearing space for more people to sit. I for SURE recommend this place as a spot to come and throw a couple rounds back. We stayed for hours and drank and talked our hearts out! Thank you for such a wonderful night. 5 stars.

They offer delicious seasonal drinks, and every drink & shot I've tried has been amazing! My absolute favorite thing I've had here (and one of the best drinks I've ever had period) is their S'mores Espresso Martini! It's literally perfection; aesthetically it's fun but still well composed as any espresso martini should be; it's has the right balance of sweet & coffee, & all of the flavors really make it taste like you're drinking an espresso flavored s'more! I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

The entrance is in an alley, you can either use the elevator to get down or walk down the stairs. Shout out to Big T the boucner for being so kind. When you first enter, there is a large bar with its own drink menu, different than whats served inside the music area. You do need reservations to get into the music area, we didnt know that going in since we were from out of town. We were told reservations are made months in advance so we didnt really have high hopes of being able to get it but we were pleasantly surprised. We talked to the hostess and she was able to squeeze us in between reservations which was awesome. The inner bar was awesome, they gave us complimentary mini espresso shots which were served inside these chocolate little boats, so fun. I also had the best drink, #4, inspired by the pornstar martini but purple, it had Ketel One, Licor 43, passion fruit, ube, vanilla, lemon and prosecco. We loved listening to the live music, and everyone was so kind. Servers Logan, Vicente & Travis were 5 star.

The drinks are not interesting or well-made, it is way too loud, the service is extremely poor and all of this honestly ruins the experience. The music talent has also been subpar on every single occasion. My last visit within the last month will definitely be our final visit. A friend requested to go here for his retirement and even though I was skeptical, I made reservations two months in advance. Upon arrival, you aren't greeted welcomed or graciously at the top of the stairs. For a special place of this caliber, do better with your first impression. Upon checking in downstairs, the hostesses couldn't be more bored. Upon being sat at our table, facing the stage in the middle of the room on hard chairs, we requested to move to one of the booths that are more comfortable and clothed. We were there earlier in the evening on a weekday, had a reservation, and there were plenty of booths available. In fact, every single booth was available. We nicely explained that someone in our group had a spinal issue. The hostess, who did not care about much of anything, said those were reserved. We said we had a reservation too. He said if folks did not show up for those he would let us move to one. Did those boots ever get full? No? Did the Host ever check in with us and act like he cared? Also, no. Did we go track him down an hour later when one of our guests was in severe pain asking to be moved? No, we did ask our server, but she made no efforts to help us. So, we left. We did spend an hour listening to the live music. It was a pretty uninteresting show, and no one in the space was even paying attention. That is not usually my experience in most jazz or music venues. The cocktail list was super uninspired by any standard. The cocktails remind me of a cheesy 90s club. I finally ordered a tiny shot of something in a little chocolate shell. The chocolate shell tasted good. Our group had a long history with 1313 Vine. The retiring person in our group used to party in the building above when it was the infamous Warehouse. In 2012, we really enjoyed going into the space as part of the Cincinnati underground tour when it was still a beer tunnel. This is a special space, but the lack of even decent service consistently over the years, poor music talent, and uninteresting drinks are doing this incredible venue, a sincere disservice. Perhaps the novelty of the location makes it easy to overcome all of the above, but not for us.

They made it work for us and were very accommodating. The food menu served was brunch. The menu was simple, but they had a lot to offer. I would best describe southern soul food. Very reasonable in pricing and the drink menu had a great selection as well. My fiancée and I ordered: Drinks: -Pinot noir -Manhattan -Espresso Martini Brunch: -Grilled salmon with side of onions & potatoes - Shrimp and grits For it being super busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food. It was fabulous. My salmon was grilled perfectly. The hot honey went very well with my salmon. The potatoes were delish. My fiancée really enjoyed his shrimp and grits. He mentioned that the shrimp was on point. I tried my friend's French toast . Wow! That was amazing. Nina was our server and she was great! Very polite and attentive. She was working really hard. I want to give her huge props. I highly recommend coming here. The DJ really knows his music and everyone was having a great time. That's all that matters, Right!? Great place!

If you reserved a spot for 5 or more people you received a free bottle of wine. I kept asking our waitress what the free bottle was and she kept saying she'll ask but never came back and told me the answer. After an hour we received our free bottle. My drink came out 30 mins before the rest of my group and then some of the food even made it out because others had their drinks. I ordered lamb chops and wings my lamb chops came out but my wings never did. I asked about them 5 times and finally they came out as my group was ready to leave (2 hours later). I told the waitress I didn't want them anymore and I was excited to try the apple bourbon sauce. They ended up coming out I told the waitress I didn't want them anymore because I've waited so long and she took them back and said "well you should have told me before I went back there to ask about them. I was waiting in the back for them and told them to make them fresh for you" and then she took the wings back and didn't offer any compensation. I then went to the bar and asked this sweet lady named Q for a manager a manager came out faster than I expected and handled the situation with grace. As far as my waitress goes I understand the frustration with kitchen being slow but please don't take it out on me. I'm very understanding. Also they no longer have hookah.
