Go for the TVs and beer. Things like the pizza, wings, burgers and nachos might be good but I did not order any of that stuff and as a result I was a little underwhelmed with the flavor. I had the Montreal smoked meat which looked promising but the meat was not as tasty as I was hoping. I guess don't order Montreal smoked meat outside of Montreal. I sat up at the bar and the bartender was lovely about and poured me a practically perfect Guinness. I had a great view of the hockey game on all the different screens available, great sport bar. Would come back to watch a game and change up my food expectations though. read more

Solid pub next to Vaughan Mills with good view of TV's at any angle. I can see it being super popular during big game nights. I came here on Saint Patrick's day to score a green beer and they have a ton of beer options to choose from. Server was friendly and attentive and even offered a free green hat and glasses to add on the festivities. It's not too busy here and you'll easily get seats for Saint Patrick's Day. I think if you're huge into the holiday, you'll probably hit up Downtown. But if you want something low key and still get your green beer, this is a solid choice. We ordered the cheese burger and also the fish tacos along with some extra coleslaw. I heard the burgers are made in house and they are good and the fish taco size was quite generous and filling. read more

On Saturday night we decided to try a bar style place for a change of pace. We went for a meal much earlier than we normally do because they were booked for a group of 100 from 7pm. When we arrived there were a few tables busy, the garage door was open and the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. There was a board outside with the special advertised... bottles of wine from $20 with the purchase of a steak meal. They had an extensive beer menu to choose from and an ok selection of wine. The wines were well priced and I ordered a house red. The meals ordered were fish tacos which were spicy and flavourful with a great crunchy slaw. I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side. My husband ordered the steak salad. Our friends ordered steaks and steak sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their meals but none particularly stood out. Mine was probably the tastiest dish. Their sweet potato fries were really delicious. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating but a little clumsy and I noticed that she spilled/slopped more than one drink as she was serving. My wine glass dripped red wine on my pants which was annoying. Once the big group arrived the place became very loud. They had the party's food placed at a table for guests to help themselves at buffet style and we joked at our table that we could just go help ourselves. As a side bar, if they had such a big group they might have considered keeping their party to one area of the bar or closing it to other patrons. I'll give it another try in the future and see if I can upgrade my rating in the future. read more

Friendly owner. So far my first impression is they are eager to please. The size of the place is a wee bit on the small side and is rather tucked away in the plaza - so you can easily miss it. Reminds me of a small, microbrewery that you'd find in the downtown area in Parkdale but I'd say the menu has something to offer everyone. read more

I was invited to watch an Italian soccer match between two rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan by my brother. He being a fan of the former and my father and I a fan of the later, yet despite the rivalry we always have watched or discussed these matches in peace and jest but together. I wish I could say the same of the "fan club" who frequent this facility. We had no idea when we arrived that it was a supporter bar, we were merely there to watch a game on a Sunday together. If you want this bar to be ONLY for a supporter group then you should close down for a private event during game times. My 66 year old father and I being Inter fans simply wanted a place to watch the game with my brother as we do at home. For some guests apparently that was not welcome and one of the event organizers went as far as to approach us in a threatening manner shortly after we arrived while I was getting my 11 month old daughter set up for lunch. My father was wearing an Inter Jersey and I was about to put mine on but the person who approached us asked us "what we were doing there and how we found out about the event". I knew what he was getting at right away and inquired if we weren't allowed to be here or something and he playfully put his hands up and said "I can't say that exactly..but there are some guys who hate those colours with a passion so I dunno". I've been on this side of intimidation before and I smelt the threat through his BS approach but I wasn't going anywhere. I'm with my father and my baby and you try to "lean" on us. What are we going to do, a real tough guy in a room full of people in the same team colours Are you F$%^&*g kidding me? Where the hell are we, Sicily in 1934? You threaten fellow soccer fans and patrons of a restaurant/business and what's more the owners let these sorts of people in the door? For shame honestly. I understand that the owner is a AC Milan supporter so I hope he reads this and understands how his fellow fan club members treat his customers because truthfully, when the game is over, you're not a support bar anymore, you're a business that relies on the business of people like me the other 6 days and 22 hours of the week. This sad experience aside my summary of this place was mixed. - Positives -- Excellent selection of beer, both on draught and by the can and bottle and a ton of craft options. Very impressive for Vaughan which can be a little intense on the Canadian/Coors/Corona -- Lots of TVs, really not a bad seat in the house for watching all other spots - Negatives -- Gnocchi I ordered was mushy and cold, perhaps the wrong dish for me to purchase as some of the others looked good -- Wait time on service. The space was busy so perhaps understaffed. I've left the "fan experience" out of my rating and based it on the above criteria, a mix of good and bad items averaging to an A-OK experience overall (or 3 stars). The actions of fellow patrons aren't a direct reflection on the owners or the business (unless they don't make steps to fix it of course, then it is). But for now I'm going to be fair here and endeavour to return on a regular night. I just hope management reads my story and at least lets the group know that these sorts of actions are best left outside of a business and could negatively affect them in the long run. read more

I found this place on yelp after the wife and I were turned away from an over capacity WEGZ for game #1 of the NBA finals (go raps!). I'm writing this review after game #3, which I did watch at WEGZ, and I'm telling you I'll be back at this place before the series finishes - definitely. No surprise, Tap house (TH) was packed by the end of the first quarter, but a kind bartender found us a spot at the bar as well as an extra stool for my wife to sit on. Their beer fridge looks like the craft beer section at loblaws - and all reasonably priced. But what really impressed us was the food. The TH burger ($11?) was amazing. Huge, juicy patty. Plus, the staff were all very friendly and the smaller, cozy space made for a warm atmosphere- obviously a lot of locals/regulars frequenting this place. Our family got together on June 23rd, 2022 at The Mills TapHouse and Grill. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Just the right portion and so tasty. I highly recommend this establishment, there's something for each family member. read more

This is place is a gem! We came here after seeing the photos and the food did not disappoint! We ordered a range of food from the Charcuterie board to start and loved every bite! Next up the special which was the naked wings for $10 you can't beat; hot sauce had a great flavor! We also ordered the Buddha salad which was the favorite of the meal as the dressing really made the salad. Kids ordered chicken strips and fried ravioli; also great. Burgers were good! A party of 7 was served quickly and very impressed with food and owners! Do yourself a favor and don't miss this place. We will be back! read more

I have a bit of a confession. I am a bit of a watch geek, that is right watches. I am in a watch group that will randomly have a get together once in a while and usually a spur of the moment type of thing. Well I was the one that was asked to arrange a place in the Vaughan area, a more central location for the peeps that were to show up. Well this place was just a great find. I have been to Vaughan Mills a lot but somehow did not know of this place. Lots of TV's on for the sportsnut. Great daily deals to be had. Oh and did I say a GREAT beer menu? The staff was great and there was enough parking so if you want to try a different beer then the usual you find. Check out a good craft beer and support local small breweries. I will most definitely come back here when I am in the area again. read more

Dined here for the first time last night. First thing I noticed was none of the waitress/chefs were wearing masks or proper face covering. Poor PPE and no dividers between the tables/booths. Patrons were walking around the establishment without a mask as well, e.g getting up to leave the restaurant and even lining up for the washroom. Also noted tension between the staff, when one waitress attended to us, another waitress will come and ask us the same questions. Also felt very rushed when it came to ordering our meal, the waiter literally only gave us 2 mins to look at the menu and expected us to order ASAP. Also witnessed poor hand hygiene and noted the waitress to be using the same towel to clean the tables, chairs, rails and countertop. Food wise - it wasn't anything spectacular, very basic. My self and my +1 both order chicken with fries and the chicken was drenched in sauce. So much sauce it felt like I was drinking it out of the bottle and the wings were small. We also order the spinach dip which was very salty. Price was marked fairly. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Small sports bar located in the plaza across from Vaughan Mills specializing in craft beer. Came here on a Friday afternoon; empty, but the waitress was very attentive. The owner came around and was very friendly. Only open for a few months. Carries a decent selection of craft beer on tap as well as in cans. There is also a food menu which I ordered the fish and chips as it was one of the specials for the day; nothing out of the ordinary. You really won't be coming here for the food, just really for your craft beer fix. Spoke to the owner for a few mins and he was intent on improving things to attract more customers. Hopefully more people will patronize the his establishment and grow the craft beer movement in other places other than downtown Toronto. If you are in the Vaughan Mills area and looks by for some beers other than the usual, I suggest checking out this establishment. read more

Great place to watch a game. Reasonably priced good quality food and very nice people to boot. Feel I need to respond to the Inter fan that wrote an absolutely false exaggerated review of his experience. I would never go watch a derby with the opposing teams fan club much less wear the rivals Jersey out of respect for their club fan club. I won't even mention yelling and celebrating when winning on a last minute goal. If you felt threatened its probably because you know you deserved a slap for your idiotic decision making skills along with your behaviour. As for bashing the establishment I suggest you get a life. You stayed for the entire game so that should show people just how badly you were treated. I could go on but I think I've spent too much time on you as it is. read more

One of my biggest fears as public restroom user is someone walking in on me. The bathrooms at this restaurant escalate that fear x10. The stalls are sliding doors with NO LOCKS. The entire time I was using the restroom I was paranoid that someone was going to swing the stall shutter right open and expose me at my most vulnerable state! Along with the stall doors not having locks the provided toilet paper was 2 ply and nearly tissue paper thin. It took nearly 27.5 squares to get the job done. Normally i would only give 3 stars for an experience like this, but the craftsmanship of the bathroom sinks is amazing so I give this overall bathroom experience 4 out of 5 stars.. read more

Terrible service when it comes to ordering for takeout and delivery. They cancel orders 45 minutes after confirming, and when they do manage to complete an order and send it out, there is always something wrong. Maybe dine in is good but definitely steer clear otherwise! read more

The absolute worst bar in Vaughan. First of all, it took them 15 minutes to come to our table to even take our order or say hello. The waitress we had was extremely rude, using swear words and picking on us because we look like a "younger" group although we were all of age. Therefore she made assumptions. This was not the first bad experience I had at this place. Was also in there another time with me and my girls, Who were continuously harassed by a man and the workers did absolutely nothing. Came here for the first time with some friends and it did not let up. Good food, good drinks, and an overall good environment. Our waitress was very nice as well, she was attentive but not overly checking on us, or encouraging us to purchase anything, she seemed genuinely concerned with how we were doing and how our meals were which was very nice. This a great little find in the Vaughan area. I travel to this area on business from time to time and will definitely continue to drop in (if staying at the aloft or novetel do yourself a favor and drop in). They have a great craft beer selection (20 beers on tap and numerous cans/bottles) and diverse food menu which diverges from all the local chains. Get out and support small businesses, especially ones that bring something unique to an area. I will be back my next visit! read more

Been there first time a week ago, I liked the young spirited atmosphere, they had a stand up comedy of unknown begining comedians and magic mentalists , was nice and refreshing to see that. Along with the specials they had of nachos $10 and a beer for $5 that was a good and enjoyable evening. I hope they keep and make these specials events more frequently.
