I had a Purple Rain Pour-Over which For this Castillo, ripe cherries are picked at 95% maturity, then spend 96 hours sealed in tanks with sugar cane honey before finishing in mechanical dryers as a natural. The result drinks like dessert: deep, jammy, and a little decadent. Flavored Chocolate covered cherries , raspberries and red grape. Boxwood Coffee Roasters service is exceptional as you approach the counter and order we chose to take a comfortable seat and enjoy some relaxing time in a fabulous atmosphere. This cafe is Columbian-American with beans from Columbia. In the refrigerator, I found to my surprise Spēka, the chocolate covered cottage cheese bar in assorted flavors that I had sampled at the Restaurant Show and has been difficult to find in the Big Apple. I bought four in lemon and gave one to Raj to try. The only drawback to this cafe are the hours whereby they close at 6 pm all week.

The barista directed me to a drink that hit the spot (iced cortado) to cool down after an impromptu beach day. They change their beans (I think daily but I was flying high on the great convo and didn't catch if it was weekly or daily) so you can try their different batches. They roast in house/on premise and sell beans (all stated organic and the decaf options state water processing). I'm not local so unfortunately I can't enjoy this every day but I'll be back- this is worth the drive! If you're local, do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious coffee infused with intention.
