Ambee Coffee immediately gets points for front parking because if I don't have to circle the block pretending I'm fine, I'm already happier. Inside, there's a solid amount of space and seasonal drinks that actually make you want to cheat on your usual order. I grabbed a high table toward the back by the bathroom, and listen--outlets were plentiful, which made it prime homework real estate. Unfortunately, that corner was also giving arctic tundra. Not sure if it's because the back door gets opened a lot, but I was fully bundled up like I was studying for finals in Antarctica. That said... the coffee and almond croissant? Chef's kiss. Like, "worth suffering a little bit" good. The staff was also super friendly, which always makes the experience better. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I sit somewhere warmer next time? We stopped by this café on April 14 for a little pick-me-up, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was super cozy and inviting--not too crowded, which made it the perfect spot to study, catch up on work, or just relax for a bit. As for the drinks, they were mostly amazing: * Pistachio matcha with ube and cream cheese cold foam -- 10/10 * Honey toasted ube latte with cold foam -- 10/10 * Strawberry horchata chai -- 6/10 The chai was a bit watered down, but everything else was honestly so good and full of flavor. The creativity of the drinks really stood out, and the quality was definitely there. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this spot if you're looking for a cute, chill café in the area. I was happy to see this place open up recently in Warren town center. There is plenty of seating inside and even a table outside. I tried their Irish cream cold brew with oat milk and a black salted caramel cold brew. They make their espressos with their own light roast beans which they also sell in store. Excellent service, in a cool funky shop. Coffee selection was excellent. Had the Americano, which was perfect strength, the coffee not bitter at all. Also had a chocolate chip cookie (lots of chocolate, crisp caramely) and strawberry crunch donut (good flavor, on the denser side). Ample parking out in front. A good coffee spot in central jersey, from a quick pick up to a meal with friends or spending a leisurely cup. Beautiful interior, clean and spacious. Service was friendly and fast. Their main draw is their organic beans, and their drinks are good. I had the iced vanilla latte with oatmilk , decaf and ordered their vanilla cold foam to top it off. A decent drink- the flavors could be stronger but still enjoyed it. The cold foam did not do add any oomph to the drink though. We also had the iced mango matcha latte which was also good in my opinion but the mango was stronger than the matcha. I'm usually good with non-strong matcha flavor but as time wore off the matcha flavor simply disappeared from the flavor profile. I would come back to try their other drinks and try their hot items and give it a go! read more

Okay so honestly i'm big on trying new coffee spots but this one was a total disappointment, i ordered a medium iced caramel latte, no flavor of caramel just straight espresso and don't get me wrong espresso is okay i guess but not even worth saying caramel. now the sandwich, fake cheese fake egg it just wasn't even good all id taste was oregano ? idek what it was but it was not worth my $21 for a medium latte and a small sandwich. the sandwich wasn't even that big for my total to be $21.73 they were overly priced for such minimal food and coffee. the spot itself was beautiful it looked great. other than that i dont recommend to highly read more

Look at folks, there is a new Ambee in town! Ambee Coffee has had my heart since their first Somerville loc. And then when they opened up on 202 in Raritan? Perfect! But now Warren?! It just gets better and better. All of the good: -Same great Ambee Coffee as always. I got my usual iced oat milk latte. -Same amazing Ambee vibes? How do they do it? It's cozy but bustling. They seem to have lots of seating here, not just bar seats. This place might cater to sit down and eat/chill the most of all the locs. -Friendly team. -Lots of parking! -Dog friendly. This isn't my typical neck of the woods, but I was happy to make a tiny detour to finally try out this new spot and I'm happy I did. High quality coffee and great avo toast! This place is usually pretty packed, even on a weekday which shows there's plenty of demand for a coffee shop like this in the community. There's usually people here working on laptops or meeting with friends, I noticed in the back there's a room that can be booked for meetings that will be available to the public later. a nice local cafe i could see myself wfh from- it was pretty busy this friday morning. i was hesitant about ordering the chaga latte but im glad i did- it's a great entry point mushroom coffee drink for people who may otherwise consider a mushroom beverage out of their comfort zone. it doesn't have an overwhelming mushroom flavor at all, and tastes almost like a normal oat latte with a slight umami flavor. the cheddar and scallion scone was good, nothing insanely special but the scallion aspect was unique compared to other cheddar scones i've had. i'm not a big cafe person but if i was, i could definitely see myself coming back here. read more

Every time I'm in Somerville I have to stop by this local coffee shop. They have really unique coffee blends with their cold brew, specialty Matcha and Ube. There was definitely a really long line on this past Sunday, which is usually a time I would think people get mimosas, but everyone was at Ambee getting their really good coffees fixes and pastries. I've been to their original location a few times and I wasn't impressed. But they've opened up a couple of new places since then and I was curious. I'm glad I gave them another chance. Coffee was much better, and their food options are quite inclusive. I ordered a vegan blt and my partner ordered a breakfast sandwich and substituted the vegan bacon. We discovered we're not huge fans of seitan bacon but I'm glad they have it. The egg sandwich came with a side of grapes which sadly half were mushy and rotting. read more

I was so happy after I was recommended a tea by a tall gentleman working the counter on Mon Feb 2 (I wish I got his name!!!!). I have never been able to like tea, but this one was fantastic. I was looking for a tea that would help my soar throat. He recommended a ginger and turmeric tea with honey. He spoke to me with such interest that I wasn't feeling great and that I really needed a healing tea. I watched him make it with such care and it turned out wonderful. This place is nice as you walk in and tons of areas to sit and work. Menu has a lot of different drink combos and food to pick from. Definitely on the higher end of $8 and up for drinks. The coconut ube latte was delicious. I believe there is WiFi since people were working there very quietly. However each table was completely packed and full. Food: had the banana chocolate chip cookie it is gluten free and really good. They have Gluten free and Vegan pastry options that look really good, going to try them next. Great addition to Warren area, I guess the first local coffee shop in this area. I have been to their Somerville location multiple times and really like their coffee. They serve organic coffee, teas, some speciality drinka and have lot of pastries/breakfast options. We ordered a regular coffee, cold brew and a bagel. Coffee was amazing as always but bagel was so chewy that we couldn't finish it -(may be just a bad batch). Overall, it was good experience and will definitely recommend this place. read more

Decent amount of seating that only gets very crowded on weekends. Large selection on drinks. Friendly staff. I think they also do events sometimes like an open mic nights. read more

A very nice coffee shop with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Feels more open than the Somerville location. Nitro cold brew was excellent and not bitter unlike most coffee. Red pepper hummus toast with gluten free sourdough was very good as well. The bread was very soft and it was very tasty. The GF lemon blueberry donut was good, not great. Beautifully decorated place with a really nice vibe. Lots of people were working and others socializing. It was clean and a good bit of seating. The lady at the counter was awesome at explaining and giving recommendations and I could tell she was also training/helping to direct a guy who may have been new to working there. The giant cookie was great, but i will ask if they can warm it a bit next time. I only saw later that they offer a lot of neat lemonades which I will have to go back to try! The bacon and cheese had little flavor, and the egg was some kind of whipped concoction that was airy and tasteless. After two bites, I removed the egg. The ciabatta, however, was excellent. Really yummy food and baked goods including vegan options which is always helpful. Espresso could be better but I'll take it-very hard to find good espresso in Jersey!
