So imagine my surprise when we happened to drive by this little coffee trailer on the side of the road in Mabou! It became infinitely better when we met the friendly lady inside the trailer. She was so happy and enthusiastic, that it brought a big smile to our faces! They offer hot and cold espresso drinks, tea, hot chocolate, etc. They also offer several food items like muffins, croissants, brownies and cookie sandwiches! I ordered a 12 oz pumpkin pie latte with oat milk, and it was delicious! One of the best I've had on our trip! Their sign says that they're open from 8am - 3pm, Wed. - Sun. The entire cafe has a cozy diner setup with plenty of seating. We decided to start the day with a simple bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich as well as a hot chocolate. The food was quickly prepared and brought to us. The hot chocolate was rich and warm while the sandwich was light yet filling. The cafe also offers boxed lunch options for the road which is a terrific option for travelers and visitors hitting the trail like us. My only complaint is that they were only open from Thursday to Monday, because I would easily return every morning!

The staff was friendly and the split pea soup (vegetarian) was to die for. My husband had some sort of open faced grilled cheese that looked amazing. There is wifi but I could not find the password listed anywhere convenient - I think I asked another patron. Parking is either on the street or in a nearby public lot. Lots of vegetarian options!
