Listen, if you need criminal stuff, I believe Andrew Tanner may be brilliant. But if you need Family Law, do NOT hire this firm. Andrew hired a person that is not good, doesn't show respect, calls you on a burner-phone (with one too many knocked down the pipes...), and agrees with you in writing (through email) and then goes against his writings and files motions without your knowledge. I paid $2500.00 for him to get this case thrown out before court. He told me that he would put a mitigation packet together and it would be an easy dismissal. He told me a week before court not to even bother going. My arraignment was February 5 2021. A day before that court appearance Miguel called me and said that he could not represent me and would give me a refund. He also stated he would give me this mitigation packet. I got my money but he never came to court and did not give me any of the documents that were supposedly sent to the DA. When I went to court they doubled my bail and added a strike. Four months of my defense is wasted. I got assigned a public defender who I still have not been able to contact. I made a formal complaint with the state bar. This guy is not only a bad lawyer, he is a predator. Watch out.
