The Music Factory is an amazing place. I brought in my Martin Dreadnaught for a tune up and cleaning, which they did an excellent job of. Here is the best part though, when picking up my Martin, I inquired about them fixing one of my other guitars for me. I have an old guitar that was broken around 2005, and all this time thought was a lost cause due to other shop saying it couldn't be fixed, however after showing it to Mike and Chase, they were willing to try and fix it, and they did! It was broken some 19 years ago, and this whole time it's gnawed at the back of my mind that it was broken and would never be properly playable ever again, and they were able to fix it, for $97!!! They took a sadness that has been hanging on my shoulders for almost two decades, something I've always been mad about with how it was broken, and lifted that sadness away. Truly amazing, and I'm so grateful for their expertise. Plus, they're exceptionally personable and nice, which is everything you want when needing help. First came into the store to look for sheet music and there was a sufficient amount from which to chose. Second visit, nostalgia intercepted when I noticed a "used" Ovation Acoustic Guitar. I began to play it and decided to purchase it to reintroduce myself to playing the guitar. "CHASE" sold me the guitar on July 1, 2019 and I paid for a hard case at that time, which was supposed to be ordered (as there were none in the store for this guitar). Fast forward December 4, 2019, and despite several phone conversations with "CHASE" that the hard case had been ordered and despite asking that he, at the very least, keep me apprised of the order's status, NO CASE has been received. Had entertained actually purchasing additional instruments from this store, but NEVER AGAIN! "CHASE," as the representative of The Music Factory, LIED! At this point, I will request my payment for the guitar case be returned and will never again make any purchases (including instruments) from this establishment! Their loss of a purchasing customer. Brought my violin bow to repair and it wasn't done after 3 weeks. The guy with the beard told me that Lisle hasn't been able to complete the job. I called back 4 weeks later and he told me the same story. After a few more weeks, I dropped by the store and another clerk found my bow in the back because it was not sent to Lisle! It's so nostalgic walking into this place! I love the family barn full of musical instruments. They let you try out any instrument you want with no heavy sales pressure. The music teachers and sales associates are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I think this is the best place in the greater area to go for just about anything you need in the music and entertainment industry. They've been open since before the 1970's apparently.... let's hope they stick around another 50 years or more! read more

Fantastic local store. Chase is always friendly and helps out with everything. They also do their best to match prices which helps since I don't wanna drive all the way to Webster or downtown for my equipment. It's easy to pass up from the outside since its really modest looking but it's like a little treasure box of music :) read more
