The biggest downside was the atmosphere. It was extremely crowded, and the vibe leaned more toward social hour than relaxation. Most spas encourage quiet so everyone can enjoy the experience, but two separate groups were loudly chatting in the hot tub for over an hour, and nothing was said or enforced by staff. Their conversations could be heard throughout other areas, which took away from the calm, spa-like environment. Overall, the price is appealing, but better crowd management, feature maintenance, and enforcing spa etiquette would significantly improve the experience.

My masseuse really worked out all of the kinks in my neck, shoulders, and back. I gave 4 stars for a few reasons, the room was really cold! I was covered with a sheet (my husband told me his masseuse gave him a warm blanket). Though I did warm up a bit when the massage started, I was cold once again when it was over and time to get dressed. My other reason for 4 stars is that the massage oil or gel that they used smelled weird. I think it would have been more relaxing for me if it smelled nice like some aromatherapy. Inside the relaxing waiting area where we were served a delicious lunch (made personally by Linda), the ambiance and decor were the perfect precursor to the spa treatments. When Linda came to bring my friend to the massage room for her facial and massage, I looked through the scrapbook that detailed Linda's interesting life as a masseuse to the stars during her many years in the movie industry. She is also an author, and very interesting to converse with. A very gracious lady, indeed. I also went out into the living area to enjoy the artwork, which is diverse and beautiful.
