Little blue flowers!
Mary Beth C.

The parking lot is extremely small and I drive a large pick up so that was challenging. I did ask once I got inside if I could park across the street or behind the bank next door, and they said that would be fine. Upon entering you quickly notice a very pleasant clean nail spa... that has no nail salon scent. A huge plus in my opinion. There was one person getting a pedicure and one person getting a mani. All the pedicure chairs are new but 2 and I was sat in a chair that was very old and the message feature had issues. I don't know why they wouldn't use the new clean working chairs for their clients! My technician was a young quiet girl who did an excellent job with my pedicure and the little flowers I requested. The menu is basically names of pedicures without any explanation on what to expect. I liked the sound of a jelly pedicure so I went in that direction. I had the jelly pedicure... and again the technician was very good. It was a long process, about 2 hours, but my legs and feet feel great. The technician was pleasant and very good and I can overlook the parking but, the menu, the chair and the length of time were the items that kept this from being a 5 star.

SNS dip #476

I go to this salon regularly and they are always accommodating and polite. It is recommended to call first as they do get busy. I have been at least five or six times now and have had a 5 star experience each time. I usually get a pedi and mani with SNS dip on my nails. They have a jelly pedicure that is worth the extra money and very interesting if you've never tried it. The last time I was there the lady did my eyebrows and did an amazing job. I'm allergic to some wax products so she didn't use wax but managed to make them look great anyway! The place is always bright and clean and Bring cash, cc machine is not working

Short coffin w/ Regular polish.

We had an amazing experience today! Walked in with no appointment and got a wax and gel polish! They did a great job!

The guy was awful. I told him to "trim" my nails that had been growing out for 3 weeks. He cut them…read morecompletely off, as close to my finger as possible. Then he was rough cutting my cuticles. I told him he hurt me more than once and to stop. My middle finger was red and bleeding by the time I left. Then the polish itself was bad. I asked for a darker color but he would only add one layer at the end. He also started too close to the cuticle and it looked worse as time went on. I doubt I ever come back here. Definitely won't see him again. My nails didn't even look like I got them professionally done. Got them fixed somewhere I trusted.

Second time at this establishment was a total disappointment. Let me start by saying, I'm happy…read morethey invested in their decor. The salon looks a lot more welcoming and bright with the new wall art, faux plants, etc. It was also pretty clean which was also a plus. However, the service was subpar. My mom and I walked in shortly after opening (shop opens at 9AM and we walked through the doors at 9:07AM) on a Saturday morning. There were five technicians on the floor and it appeared that all of them were servicing clients. Though they appeared busy, one tech made sure to greet us and ask what service we needed as I signed in. We weren't told how long of a wait it would be and since the other customers didn't sign in (which usually has a space for you to list the service/s you are interested in), I couldn't come up with my own estimate. After approximately 20 minutes, a tech came to get my mom for her manicure. Again, no one addressed me to give me an estimate on how much longer my wait would be. Another customer walked in, signed in, and though she was greeted, she too had to sit and weight with no idea how long it would be before she was serviced. Around the half hour mark, two patrons left, but I continued to wait. After waiting around 35 minutes, I walked over to my mom and let her know that I would be leaving soon and on my way back to my seat I saw a large insect (reminded me a lot of some type of cockroach) scurrying across the floor. One of the techs, who was doing a pedicure at the time, looked around, threw a towel on it, stomped it, and then pushed the towel against the bottom of the foot basin. I was floored... absolutely floored. That may explain why I didn't leave until I had waited to be serviced for nearly 45 minutes. Once I announced my exit, the tech who was servicing my mom said something like "Oh you're leaving? I'm sorry. I can get someone help you right now, just wait." I responded respectfully letting her know that I had already waited long enough and had other things I needed to do. After my mom completed her service, I asked how her experience was she said it was okay, but she never feels like the services provided match the price paid. When asked why she continues to come to the establishment, she said "Well it's closer to the office than the other place we go to. I don't know. They do okay most of the time." I don't know about you, but that doesn't seem like a satisfied, loyal customer to me. I hope they can do better in the future. For now, I'll stick with Wonder Nails.
