I booked a couples massage by phone on Thursday, 7/16, for Saturday, 7/18, and provided my credit card information to hold the appointment. Mark, who I later learned is the owner's husband, was helpful on the phone and asked us to arrive 20 minutes early for paperwork. When we arrived early as requested, we were told there was no appointment written down and no rooms available. The lady at the front desk called the owner and then simply told us Mark had not written it down and they were sorry for the inconvenience. What frustrated us most was that no one made any effort to fix the situation. No offer to reschedule, no attempt to find another option, and no remedy of any kind. It basically felt like, "We messed up, sorry, have a good day." Extremely Poor Customer Service and Problem Resolution. Mistakes happen, but when a business takes credit card information to hold an appointment, that appointment should be honored--or at the very least, the business should make a real effort to make it right if there is an option available. Unfortunately, none of that happened here. As they say, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression", and I have to say this this one was about as poor as it gets.

The spa attendants are always very welcoming and greet you with a smile. The spa itself smells incredible and you're met with a sense of relaxation as soon as you enter! Surprisingly enough, for Labor Day, the spa was not that busy and there were not a lot of patrons. I enjoyed time pretty much by myself in the plunge pools. They were all a perfect temperature. The steam room is amazing and your skin will look so refreshed and glowing as if you got a facial when you're done in there. When 1 o'clock rolled around DeeDee came to get me for my service.
