Your Other Hands is a very relible company, with great nannies. The nanny was wonderful with her. My daughter is little and is very attached to me, so i was a little worried how it would work out. The nanny reassured me that she has been with the service for many years and she would send me updates on their night. I was able to enjoy the evening with my husband without any worries. Absolutely wonderful service and nanny. I highly reccommend them to anyone.

The lead lady who I am guessing is Mrs. Trimmer was spastic to say the least. She billed her company as specialty service for children with special needs. I have to beg to differ. One more than one occasion I went to check on our little one and she seemed fine , playing and breathing . I then get a text from another mother who was concerned for my child who was laying on the table getting her diaper changed. My husband and I walk over and she seemed ok. We took her out of the care early that we had paid for and went back to our hotel. I then noticed the issue that when I sat her in the bathtub for a bath she screamed and cried , mind you this little child has a disorder that makes her pain tolerance extremely high. When I looked between her legs she was excoriated and raw and had little blisters. I can assure you I did not drop her off like that. I checked the diaper bag and I left them with 5 diapers. In 8 hours she was changed twice , you can do the math. I was upset and furious all she wanted to do was be held for 3 hours where she fell asleep in my arms. My husband had to go buy her paste and she had even more difficulty walking as she falls a lot at baseline. I would not recommend this company for any child. Concerned parents North Carolina based .

The poor girl that walked through our door was overwhelmed, under qualified, and she herself walked away after only a few hours!! We thought we were protected by the "guarantee" - but after this experience - we were not even allowed to speak to another potential candidate without signing a one year commitment to pay them - without even speaking or meeting!! We asked to speak to references of candidates and that was declined. We asked to speak to the reference verification department - and that was declined! Come to find out - this agency appears to be all up / down the east coast - but owned by the same family. "Beth" runs the show and is very good at gaining trust with desperate moms looking for trustworthy childcare. PLEASE don't fall for the trick!! In fact - 2 of the potential candidates presented to me by "Beth" - I had already reviewed myself by looking on care.com and nanny lane. Save yourself the time, money and heart ache - DO NOT TRUST this company!!!

Our caregiver Damia was absolutely the best and gave me piece of mind that my son was safe and happy when I had to be at my busy job where I am a manager. Damia not only text me updates and pictures, let me talk to my son, but she went above and beyond the job. She did my laundry and folded it. She swept my house, hand washed my dishes, and even made my bed when I didn't have time to make it this morning. On-Call Concierge service has top nanny's and caregivers. I highly recommend them. Unlike many other services I looked into On-Call Concierge also didn't charge me a finders fee, but instead a flat rate membership fee that included a guarantee of my scheduled caregivers. The caregivers are interviewed twice by Ridwana, go through an extensive interview process, and a thorough background check. After being on Care.com for months and not being able to find a quality person I could trust with my son I finally feel good about leaving my son at home when I need to. :) Thank you Damia and Ridwana for being so awesome! I look forward to working with other caregivers too (Since I am using their services mostly on-call I get a pool of 3-4 nanny's that will rotate).

Having owned…read morefull-bred Labradors and some mixed breeds, I was drawn to a large, 5 year old pup I first saw online. I visited the shelter, and she was brought into a small room so I could meet her. Obviously mixed, she looks like a smaller version of a chocolate lab, weighing in at 61lbs. I liked her energy and soft brown eyes. I didn't know what to expect, but I picked her up the next day. She is far exceeding my expectations! Coming from another shelter in TN, there was no known history, but I can tell she was loved. She came to me completely housebroken and knowing commands. She has been calm at a BBQ with a lot of people as well as with my almost-3-year old grandson. The staff at AWA offers great support in many ways even after adoption, and it was a very positive experience. The kennels were clean, and the dogs looked healthy and well cared for. Every person involved in the short process was very nice and friendly. My pup reminds me of my favorite dog ever that was a mixed breed dachshund that I also adopted from AWA many years ago. Please don't hesitate to adopt from the AWA where you may find your next best friend! In my experience, shelter dogs are gems!

Not only is the facility clean and welcoming, but everyone there is so helpful: they really care about all the animals; you can tell it means a lot to them to know that the forever homes these sweet critters are going to are worthy of the pets and will treat them with the love and care they deserve. A special shoutout to Katie N - she took the time to show us several great candidates and go over all the particulars for each one. For Katie and all the good people there it's obvious that this is not just a job for them - it's a calling and a vocation. Simply the best shelter around!
