GORGEOUS! Spent the past weekend here for my first time, and it's one of my favorite hotels ever now. I'm usually a basic Courtyard girl, but splurged here and went for the king suite; so glad I did. The suite was huge and I loved having 1.5 bathrooms. It had two massive TVs in it with ample chairs, tables, and a super soft material couch included. We could have spent the weekend just watching football in the suite! The large, beautiful full body mirror in the entry hallway was fantastic. The added details were amazing as well; for example, when you walk into the bathroom in the dark, lights at your feet come on so you can see without it being too bright. They also provided ear plugs, eye masks, and fresh linen spray. There was ample lighting in all rooms that you could easily adjust as well. Some hotels have dark rooms, but you could make the suite as bright or dark as you wanted! Bed was comfortable, and I heard minimal noise from others. The hotel area on the second floor is absolutely stunning, and I LOVED their Halloween decor. Valet was easy to manage, and checkin/out was a breeze as well. The front desk was super helpful. I found out last minute that the concert tickets I bought needed to be printed, but there is no hotel business center and the nearby FedEx is closed on the weekends. The front desk graciously printed them for me even though it was a bit of a logistical mess with my app; they were patient and kind. The Vault bar downstairs is one-of-a kind. Go early to check it out as it gets packed late at night. However, it's a HUGE bar with plenty of soft and comfortable seating. Awesome decor. Don't miss this one! This hotel is pricey, but I can see why. I look forward to going back around Christmas one year to see their decor. This one will be difficult to beat! read more

Checked in , the front desk clerk was sweet as can be! The rooms are very comfy and really nice . We were here with a car rally group and were treated kindly! In the middle of OKC . Close to so many things to do. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place . read more

The lobby of this hotel is stunning. The common areas were once a very elegant historical building and a bank (they still have the vault downstairs.) Check out the ornate, beautifully detailed ceilings and other details. The rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant in the hotel--Teller's--also did a very good job with a work event that my team hosted. We would stay here again if visiting Oklahoma City. read more

I arrived at this hotel on a Saturday morning. I had never been to this hotel before but I heard it was central and had great architecture so thats why I selected it. Its beautiful on the inside and great for architecture lovers. It has a lounges and plenty restaurants inside so theres really no need to leave. Its also walking distance from the stadium. I qualified for a free room upgrade so I was upgraded to a suite. I absolutely loved my room. It was a 1bedroom with 1.5 bathrooms. I would absolutely stay here again but there were cons. My room still had trash in the cans when I arrived, I had a robe but no slippers and the lights were overly complex so I couldn't figure them out. The cons were minor but worth mentioning. Overall, I loved this hotel and the staff was really nice. read more

Incredible, stunning, safe. I've stayed in quite a few Marriot BonVoy establishments and this is yet another example they KNOW the expectation of a quality hotel stay. The National has a rich history as an old bank building and peeks of that history were left inside the hotel. Architecture and ambiance are stunning, and the staff...wow. I've not met a more attentive, smart, and anticipatory staff than at this establishment. From security to check in, housekeeping, concierge, and even valet. You've got an incredible crew & they are the reason I plan to be back very, VERY soon. Thank you for a memorable 1st stay in downtown Oklahoma City for 4 days. I have no idea why this place has so many 5 star reviews. It's overpriced for what it is. The location is good. But that's about it. The walls are super thin. It's not very clean. The bed I slept in was gross, springs sound like they are broken. I do not recommend. read more

You're likely to say "Wow!" out loud as you glide up the escalator that takes you to the lobby - this hotel is stunning. It's renovated space in the old First National Bank building (hotel on the bottom floors, residences on the top). We stayed just a couple weeks after it opened, and were impressed by just about everything the hotel has to offer. Check in was quick and efficient, and staff were friendly. Even the hallways are impressive! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom products are nice quality, and the rooms have ample space to sit down and get some work done. I uploaded plenty of pics, so you can see for yourself. They may need to get the bar a little more help, as our experience there wasn't great - and it looks like it's shaping up to be a "go-to" place in town! The drinks were good, but staff definitely couldn't keep up with the demand, even on a Wednesday night. Minor issue that I'm sure they'll work out, and it's still worth it to stop by for a cocktail - the lobby is just gorgeous! Overall, superb hotel that I'd be happy to return to if I ever find myself back in OKC. read more

We booked a room for a new Years Eve! We had so much fun, ate at Tellers, need reservations. We are a 5 course dinner that was delicious. The bar was hopping and everyone was in great spirits. The room was something you see in the movies...it was gorgeous. Comfy beds the suite had a powder room and bathroom. A living room and a separate bedroom. It was amazing along with the wonderful robes. I would definitely recommend and we will Be back. read more

Arrived yesterday to a hotel 1/3 full only to be told "Sorry, our Ambassador has given out all the upgrades for today." Zero room upgrade for Titanium million plus point 25+ year Marriott members. Not even to a decent floor. Our two freezing rooms look out to cement. I checked & they had TONS of rooms so they easily could have at least given us a room a few floors up on one of the 4 sides seeing the city so our daughter could at least have some sense of the feeling of this city. We got shoved in the cheapest "convention room cr*p" they could throw at us. "Ambassador".,? I think not. Customer loser is a more appropriate title. I asked the waitress in the bar if by chance they had any non-alcoholic beer - something that is becoming a mainstream offering. Her one word snotty reply - "Nope". Stay away from this hotel - they clearly could care less about their " valued 25 year loyal customers". read more

I finally called the front desk of the hotel and asked to speak with someone directly about making a reservation. The woman took down my information for a manager to call me back, but still NOTHING! Don't waste your time trying to give them business, because apparently they don't want it. read more

The Christmas decor is beautiful. The service is poor. Received multiple apologies within the first 10 minutes claiming they were understaffed, under trained, and lack good management. Reservations for tea service did not necessarily mean that they planned accordingly (staff and kitchen), so plan on a long wait to be seated and a long wait to actually enjoy. Stayed here for three nights and loved the stunning architecture and amenities. The conversion of a 1920s bank building into a luxury hotel has preserved the best of the bank's historic features. Don't miss the photographic exhibit of the building's history on the first floor, and most definitely check out the vault bar in the basement. The great hall will also have you gawking at the pillars, ceiling, and paintings. A staircase from the first floor takes you down to Underground OKC. We had an amazing and beautiful time at the National Hotel as part of a conference. This hotel truly is an experience. It is lovingly redone to match the original intent of the brothers who built it in 1930s. The staff was also super nice. One man in particular, Roscoe (sp?) I think that's his name was literally the unofficial history keeper of the hotel and filled us in on all sorts of history. For instance the hotel was built in 1931 in 11 months! They have used all the spaces beautifully with a mint and personal savings room the bar in the middle of the lobby while keeping the old teller windows to turn it into the Tellers restaurant dividing spaces, then the vault downstairs is cannot miss on a weekend! It's so cool. There are 2 and beautifully updated into a bar that serves some yummy treats. Also the Gilded Acorn is attached to it and served me a yummy latte. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Oklahoma City again! read more

We are currently staying here with Ambassador status with Marriott. This hotel is beautiful with great dining choices and location. But there is one manager who oversees the Stock & Bond and Tellers restaurant that is not sufficient in doing his job. Our night at S&B there was a table so loud that we could not hear each other or the bartender. And tonight he was allowing a 4 year old boy to ride his scooter through Tellers and around all the tables in the bar. He was forcing his way through guest, the wait staff and was riding by the manager many times. He almost took out our grandson and our table with food and drinks. We complained and nothing was done. Due to having family that lives in the Oklahoma City area we will probably be back to this hotel but not the restaurants. read more

This is the most over-rated hotel I ever stayed in. Grand hall & ornate but that is about it. Room is average. Check-in took over 30 minutes - there were only two other people in front of me. Room for a lifetime Titanium Elite member faces an parking lot. Not very clean either as there was an used bottle of shampoo on the floor. High price point too!. Talking about pretentious - at breakfast, the lady @ the desk asked if I have a reservation - it was about 9 AM and the place has four or five people! read more
