There is a beautiful hallway right outside that's just perfect for taking pictures of your guests as they come in. They're pretty much all-inclusive. However, for our event we opted to cater from another location, but we took the rest of their offers. Since they frequently do weddings, they have a set up Brides' and Grooms' room in the back. It's a perfect spot for hosts to stash their valuables, change of clothes/shoes, and any other miscellaneous things you'd like. Highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation - make sure you get a couple of great photographers. Your event will be absolutely stunning and I assure you that you'll be really upset if all the photos you have are selfies from your cell phone or ones that your guests take. My only regret of coming here is that I wish I had more and better pictures of the event. All our guests could not stop raving about this place! All in all, this place was a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth the price in MHO.

Well organized and well communicated through entire process. Spaces and service were as promised and help all through the planning to day of event was great. My only hardship was with some contractors they hired to help us at end of party. They did not match the caliber of event 1013 and were smoking during their contracted time to help and were more concerned with eating our food versus serving it and wrapping it up at the end. She was thorough during our consultation, quickly made changes to our floor plan and was able to adjust our contract as needed. We planned our wedding from out of state and it was so much less stressful to work with a venue that manages many of the details (flatware, catering coordination, table decor, etc.). We opted to use them for floral and they were beautiful! Loved repurposing the aisle decor to tables too. Having a day of coordinator allowed me to enjoy my wedding day rather than work it! The staff is experienced and reliable. They have a process that streamlines planning and work with several vendors that will give you a special price and know the venue/team well enough to have a very smooth experience. We had about 40 people and could have had more. We were able to serve food and drinks and also had a slide show of our moms life. They also had a microphone with a speaker so that people could talk about their memories with our mom and we could play our mom's favorite songs. I hadn't been to the Plano Event Center in many years and it was much nicer than I remembered! There is plenty of free accessible parking spaces and multiple entrances. I also noticed lots of restrooms with plenty of bathroom stalls. The furniture, carpet and lighting looked new and updated. It was a nice space for a small sized convention.

The space is just that. A space for events…read more Actual usage of the space needs to be addressed. For example, the PISD event last evening. If the idea that arriving early means you get a safe parking spot on concrete, that's a big nope. The officers directed drivers to go on flag-marked area on the grass field. This is OK for trucks and higher vehicles but the ground was bumpy and potentially damaging to sedans. My vehicle was alarming every second while driving on that terrain. Who knows what was damaged in my undercarriage. As for the space inside, it just seemed chaotic. All the volunteers and staffers there were excellent but the architect of this event should've foreseen just how terrible that entrance aisle would be. It was exactly the same in previous years so ignorance is not an excuse. Also lines were forced to be formed straight down the middle right out the main hall which caused a lot of people needing to get by to be blocked. The only solution unfortunately is to remove this line. Move those tables anywhere but there.
