Sorry, you can greet customers all you want, but that doesn't mean they have to greet you back and then when you mention it when all they want to do is shop in peace, it just creates an adversarial situation. This speaks loudly of lack of training in the basics of customer greeting. Despite this I still purchased some fun items but didn't shop as much as I might've had it been a friendlier vibe.
