I loved the mix of standout items, from the quirky "Not-an-MGM" taxidermized lion to the paintings that highlight regional talent, and of course the perfectly restored Model A Ford that looks like it rolled straight out of a showroom from nearly a century ago. McPherson is a charming town that is fun to visit and still maintains a healthy economy with good schools and businesses. I am a bit prejudiced because I grew up here from 1943 to 1952 and have happy memories of this friendly midwestern town -- it resembles a time-warp that takes you back to a simpler time. My visit happened on Aug. 2, 2017.
