Rude/mean person Tammy/(owner?) Actually pulling and slapping the lightener as fast as she could, got on my face and one eye when it wasn't lighting up the first time. Then put me with bleach on under a hot drier. ( chemical burn waiting to happen my head felt like it was on fire ) when I told her so , she said she had to, to speed it up the process because she had OTHER Clients coming in. My head was actually hurting for days after. Been having this process done over a hundred times by others and never was a hot drier a part if the process and never had any issues. When I went to another salon a few months later and they were shocked at the treatment I received. After I was done she had the nerve to ask when I wanted to book my next appointment. I have been going to Tammy for about a year now after being with someone else for 13 years. I am someone who has always been hesitant to try new things with me hair and I was worried about, "will she get my color right" or will she be someone who doesn't listen to what I like and want in regards to my hair. Tammy is always willing to listen to my thoughts and do changes I am looking for gradually to make sure that I am good with the change. I went to Tammy the owner/ so called manager to get my hair blonde. She states she told me in January that she told me she didn't want to do it, but she didn't tell me at the time of the appointment in May. She told me that she didn't want to spend all night on my hair so we would have to break up the sessions. (Yes I have a lot of hair, but I am a customer and she would be making money right?) when I made got my hair done, on A Tuesday. She decided to bleach my entire head. Never went over the risks or anything before doing this. I told her multiple times that I had a wedding that weekend and I am getting married in five months so I need my hair to look good. She said it would look fine. After she bleached it she tried 3 additional times to fix it when I told her I wanted to leave. She told me customer service is her number one priority(?) my hair had orange streaks in it after she was done 4 hours later from her putting so called highlights in it to "fix it" then when she goes to check me out she tells me it would be $200 but she'll cut me a break and charge me $175. My hair looked completely awful! I asked for my money back multiple times, and she continues to tell me it is my fault! How this can be when 1. I didn't do this my self. 2. And I didn't force her to do this, I trusted her "years of experience" to know what she was doing and clearly she didn't. Her way of solving this was to have me come back in and rebleach it. I told her that it was going to ruin my hair and make it fall out , her words were "you have enough to lose". Needless to say I could go on and on about how unprofessional this woman/salon is but I think you get my point. I would not go here unless you want your hair messed up. I will never go there again! My hair is so choppy i cant believe someone with a cosmetology license can do such damage. I asked for layers that will go nicely with my face, i went home and straightened my hair and just started crying because it was cut so ugly and choppy and uneven. Now ill have to go to a REAL hairstylist to get this fixed and figure out if it can be blened in. I dont remember the name of the woman that did my hair, but she is older and has long blonde hair. Best salon in town, the only place I'll go! They are highly knowledgeable when it comes to color, I'm all over the place... blonde, red, brown, back to blonde..
