We liked America's Next Top Model until that became unwatchable(the first minute you say?). I have a high tolerance for pain. The main reason i like this station is for broadcasting the Ghoul for most of the late 90's to early 2000's. The show that single-handedly made me want to live here my whole life and be a weirdo. It is the only local late night show that mattered. More hip than Big Chump and Little Toilet. Usually on anywhere from Friday night at midnight to Sunday morning at 3(they kept changing the time so they could show more infomercials). This was during prime partying hours. Full of Cleveland lore like Dorothy, Ghoulardi, Baskerville Hounds tunes and featuring the acting talents of Uncle Scratch drummer, Brother Ed. Monster movies of the lowest caliber accentuated with sound effects, and segments where the Ghoul blew up pumpkins, turkeys and his nemesis, Froggy. Norton furniture ads first ran during this show. They are now a local legend themselves. I miss this show so very very badly. MST3K is a close second, but doesn't have that local flavor. This place would get a five if t was still on the air. Also home to the toupeed Reverend Ernest Angley. Please bring back the Ghoul.

My favorite radio station growing up -- I remember as a kid I went to bed with:…read more~ George Norry for Coast to Coast AM ~ Joe Tait for the Cavs games ~ Tom Hamilton for the Tribe games ~ Kevin Keane for extra innings ...I didn't have to go to bed with Triv since he was the afternoons, so he kept me company on my ride home from work. I didn't start listening to Triv regularly until I was in my late high school or early college days. I remember my parents not really liking him, but I grew a huge liking to him over the years -- he was so entertaining, had a great common sense attitude about him, and would always want to hear what he had to say on any given topic. It's true what Triv said when Rush passed -- It's like you established a friendship with the individual over the airwaves by listening to them and his interactions with people (or yourself) that call in/text (or just talking back to them in your mind or to yourself, as funny as that sounds). That's how it was with Triv and all the others I listed above. I will truly miss Triv -- it's been really difficult to come to grips with his unexpected passing, but he will never be forgotten. Outside of my favorites listed above, there have been some good and entertaining shows and personalities. A few that come to mind: ~ The Spew with Triv and Lanigan ~ Sports Feed with Nick Camino ~ Dennis Manoloff hasn't been bad since coming to the station, he's just so serious all the time ~ Sam Bourquin has been a great recent fill in (who typically talks sports -- I'd take him over Greg, Munch, and Rob any day ~ Andre Knott did a pretty good job when he was here ~ Glen Forbes filling in every now and again when he was with the station ~ Jensen Lewis isn't too bad when he fills in ~ Carmen and Seth aren't too bad either when they fill in because you know there's going to be a lot of funny banter between them and the audience Some of the things I dislike: ~ Bill Wills' show structure -- it's such a confusing show and has too many commercials and news. It's like Bill talks for at most 3 minutes with someone, which typically is a guest, and then 10 minutes go by for some news and commercials ~ Whenever Munch and Rob are on I just turn off the radio; I have a hard time listening to them for some reason. I can deal with Greg for the most part, although his shows are like "what's your favorite chip dip?" lol Overall, still my favorite station and will continue to listen even though it will be difficult not being able to listen to my friend anymore, but life must go on. Eternal rest grant unto Triv, O Lord, and let the perpetual light be shone upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through Your mercy, O God, rest in peace. Amen.

"Viewers like you" may like this crap. Viewers such as I see right through your finely-skewed demographic parsing and call your bluff. What about the great shows of the past? What's so wrong with re-visiting the stuff that was on before, that's already paid for, that is of a higher quality? Wait. This is what I should be saying: Instead of raising all that coin to pay for the Chin From Minneapolis and all this other provincial crap produced by REAL PBS station, spend it right HERE. Do some local programming. I don't mean another lame talking-head deal where you get some suits into the empty studio on Sunday morning and grill them about Cleveland's future. Local music. Local art. Local HUMOR? We have all this talent just waiting at Hopkins for the next flight to Anywhere Else; go interview THEM! It can't be any worse than what you have on right now (..."Design Squad: The Contestants Make Musical Instruments"... Nova: Remains of a Marsupial Lion and Kangaroo Are Found...) Keep that money here at home. Spend it on local producers, writers, talent and see what happens. It will be returned ten-fold.
