Very clean and nice salon with lots of natural light. I had messed up hair ! I box died it red a year ago and the color it left behind was a strawberry blonde color. I missed my natural dark brown hair, my hair was also damaged and broken. I wanted to keep my length though and I think she accomplished exactly what I wanted. I started coming here on Dec 2021. Miranda was my stylist and truthfully it wasn't the best experience during my appointments but I didn't sweat it. It just seemed mediocre for the price. On Feb 5 I had an appointment with her and the same day made my follow up appointment for March 12th at 12pm. I showed up at 11:56pm for my 12pm appt today and noticed she had two young girls in her chair. They were getting hair cuts and the mom didn't seem happy so I knew it would probably be a minute. Another stylist acknowledged me and stated I was there to see Miranda for my appointment. She said okay she'll be right with u...Miranda was right there and did not acknowledge me. I let that go and sat down. 18 min later after the owner Jennifer had to come out to fix the two girls hair cuts, they left and sat waiting as she cleaned up. Seconds later Jennifer sits down in her chair and they start her hair...I couldn't believe it. I left and called the salon because I hate confrontation. I just want to speak to Jennifer to explain what happened. At this point I didn't want to return. Miranda answered and I asked for Jen. She puts me on hold and comes back on the line to say "she's actually not here right now". The disrespect after I saw her there was awful. I said "she is there cause I just saw her. I was your 12pm but my appointment obviously did not get logged." It was extremely hurtful. I was looking forward to pampering myself on my day off and instead was treated like complete garbage. Not to mention Jen calling me later to state her excuse. "I wasn't technically suppose to be here and I have somewhere to be tonight so I wanted my hair done." Sounds great. How about your clients? You're an owner...you work 24/7 if you truly care for your high paying clients. I could go on and on but bottom line is never will I recommend this salon to family and friends. read more

I really dont like to write reviews but I experienced the worst treatment by a nail tech from this salon named kari aka nailsbykari is her Instagram. She charge me a cancelation fee just because I was late. I didnt even know she was at this salon until I called her it didnt state it on her business information. It was my first time going to her and it is not like I ever cancelled or anything before. She didnt even recommend or suggest doing anything different since I wasnt able to get the full set of nails. She said she didnt have enough time. I even went back to try to see how we could resolve the situation since all this happen on the phone and she was gone yet she didnt have enough time to do anything for me? I told her about my situation about what had happen and she still said she had to cancel me. I didnt cancel her yet she charged me. I was literally crying by her treatment. I've never in my life had someone treat me so rude and charge me for recieving NO service. There is no where stating on her business info if your so many minutes late you get cancelled and be charged $27.50. I mean I was there at least she could have polished my nails or something so I could have at least got my monies worth. I was even texting her about the situation and she kept continuing to say how she was right. I am going to share this story with everyone. She even texted me at 4am. I mean what nail tech texted people at 4am? She is lucky I don't call my lawyer and sue her. read more

Jen is THE BOMB!!! I've been going to Jen for my hair extensions for about a year now. The first visit was a consult for Jen to get a look at if they (the extensions) would work in my hair, what color I wanted and the length I wanted. She is soooooo sweet and honest! You can't go wrong with this girl. She's very knowledgeable and professional. The salon itself is so cute and extremely clean! She plays upbeat music but not too loud and offers water, coffee and either tea or lemonade (depending on the season). Also, she offers light snacks. I've never had my nails done here but every time I go in, both girls that do nails there are busy with clients who end up with GORGEOUS nails! It is top of the line, luxurious customer service and pampering that could only be found in major cities like New York, LA, San Francisco, etc. Until now. If you are looking for basic haircare, this is not the place for you. If you need a day of pampering, self care, PEACE, and to be completely focused on you, this is it. Some may say it is pricey, but I say its a steal. If you have questions, please ask. I would be happy to elaborate, but not a lot of room in this review. Suffice it to say EVERY detail regarding your comfort has been thought of and accommodated. My friend came from Alaska and her hair and weave was a HOT MESS. The weave was subpar. My first appointment with Veronica the nail technician was better than I could have expected. I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years and have frequented posh salons & spas in the past however I fell in love when I first showed up to The Nines. Their location is conveniently located right in the heart of Fresno, straight off the freeway. When you walk in the entire place is immaculate, perfectly decorated and everyone is welcoming. The coffee bar is a fantastic addition to the space between the front and back with everything you need during your visit to be pampered. Veronica was attentive, professional, thorough, friendly and her personality is infectious. You could talk to her all day and adding in getting the royal treatment services is a bonus. I am particular when it comes to having my nails done because most places treat clients as a number sacrificing quality over quantity and use illegal discount products to increase profits but Veronica uses top quality products; I don't have to worry about later causing damage or worse to my hands. I am pleased to have a regular nail tech that knows me, my style, makes me feel comfortable and helps keeps my hands looking flawless. I've been to this salon a couple of times for a cut and once for a color, and I can't say enough good things about it and Jen. I had grown-out highlights that were much blonder than I wanted. Jen brought the color up and made it much more blended and natural, exactly what I wanted. She also cut my bangs a couple times and they're on point. The salon is clean and comfortable. Got my nails done here and I was not impressed especially for $45. I'd really have to say that the nail tech was nice but nice doesn't my my nails pretty and won't be worth my time and money if they don't look/feel good. I had acrylics done and when I went home there were tons of sharp edges that I had to file down because they were just terrible. I don't get my nails done often but I usually don't have to ask for them to file down the sharp edges...... had them shaped "squared" and even some of the nails weren't straight.... I pretty much went straight home and filed off some of them to get them to be straighter and also filed off all the sharp edges. This is partially my fault because I didn't critic the nails hard enough before I let her paint them BUT I'd say I definitely won't be coming back. Like I said the nail tech was nice but it won't buy extra stars because I was not impressed by her skills/technique. read more
