She is incredibly willing to work with people and other vendors in the community to help support and grow local business and art. The location and storefront itself puts off and incredibly welcoming vibe. Walking in, you'll be greeted with a huge smile and a hello. Looking around the shop, it is immediately eye-catching and almost sucks you in to want to look at more. It's organized in a way that you can't stop yourself from wandering around to peek at everything. With a variety of attractions ranging from handmade jewelry and glassware, local artwork, vintage clothing, an on-site hairstylist, and even a skate ramp. There's almost literally nothing that isn't interesting about this place. I have worked closely with this place for almost it's entirety of its existence and I have never been disappointed as to what I have seen come out of this amazing establishment. It was also during an open house where they had lots of customers doing make and take projects and shopping. So to go that extra mile for us meant so much. The ladies were all so kind and helpful made us feel right at home. The patience with the kids was also wonderful! Kim was fantastic :) We had kids of all ages and the options were perfect for each age group. The party cost also include cupcakes, drinks and pizzas. I was a vendor with this business since the holiday season last year and unfortunately had a very…read moredisappointing experience. Communication with management was consistently unreliable, messages often went unanswered, and when responses did come, they were vague or dishonest. Most frustratingly, vendors weren't given proper notice when the store decided to close. Many of us, myself included, found out at the same time as the public through social media posts. There was no formal outreach to vendors about how to retrieve our inventory, aside from a few Facebook comments from someone unrelated to the business operations, offering vague instructions. The consignment software we were required to use was also abruptly disabled, leaving no clear records for vendors regarding what items were sold or still in stock. This entire situation has been handled in an unprofessional, careless, and frankly disrespectful manner to the small businesses that supported this store. I would caution any makers or vendors considering partnering with this business, should it reopen under new ownership or branding, to be aware of how poorly this was handled and protect yourself accordingly.
