I was very impressed with the helpful staff. I had a raincoat that I bought at a store over a year ago. I have not even taken tags off, but I am now 3 sizes smaller. I went to North Face to get a new coat for an upcoming trip. On a whim, I brought old raincoat along. They gave me 40% of tag price toward a new raincoat. They were very helpful, and frankly I did not expect even the amount they offered. Great staff. read more

Store manager Rylee told an African American woman that a Northface coat she returned for feathers being found in giant balls could not be returned an honored by Northface return policy. The woman told Rylee the condition of the coat over the phone and stated Rylee told her she would allow her return it and get another one free. After being reminded of that Rylee then said she take an extra 30% off of a lowest new coat. The coat she bought was identical to the one she brought in. Instead of of 80% off with 60% off and 30% that woman had to pay over $100 for a $350.00 coat. We were flabbergasted by Rylee acting racist and not following the free return lifetime Northface return policy. As the customer took pictures of the returned coat we did too. This store although not huge, has a wide variety of selection and colors. It's hard to find north face outlets in the US, last one was in Orlando and I went on a spending spree. I'm lucky to live 30 minutes away from this place. Whenever there is holiday, it gets even cheaper! Everything is usually on sale anyways on regular days. They have everything from tops, bottoms, shoes, back bags, sleeping bags, hats, gloves, and a ton of t shirts/tanks. Highly recommend to drop by even if you're just driving through. Winter folks get their money's worth here. read more

The North Face Outlet store is still just amazing! I have purchased gifts here for relatives and friends, as well as different jackets and winter gear for myself. Recently, I have even purchased a new Borealis backpack which is a perfect size for work, and for keeping things organized, with plenty of padding for a laptop and other essentials. Staff is super friendly, and management is extremely helpful. I also love that they allow dogs in the store, which can be a great experience for your adventurous pup! My favorite jacket I have purchased here is a long down parka in black that I bought for only $100! Such an amazing deal, and perfect for when it is super cold, or taking a long walk with the dog. read more

I bought a winter jacket in the summertime because you can get the best deals then. Put it in my closet and never wore it. Zipped it up twice never wore outdoors. Tried to take it back now that winter weather is here because I didn't like the feel of it. Was told there were some markings on it or something that they could see. Ridiculous. It's in the exact same condition as when they sold it to me. Come on north face. Lady told me they couldn't take it back. Connor, the manager made me feel so low. I drove from an hour away to make an exchange: a fleece jacket for another fleece jacket and two pairs of gloves. Zoie called him over because the jacket that I purchased didn't have a tag on it, but this was a concern I brought up to the cashier when I was purchasing the item. That cashier was nice enough to make a new tag when I did the purchase. Thank goodness for that because I almost couldn't return it. Conor "did me the favor" to do and exchange instead of a return. I went along with it since I still wanted to purchase new items. I went back to the store a couple minutes later to return the gloves (I thought it over and realized I didn't need the gloves at this time). So I took advantage that I was still at the mall, and checked out with Marissa. While in the process of doing so, I see Connor eyeing me and talking to some of his coworkers - clearly about me. It wasn't long until he came over and said "you can't do this return on the exchange we just did". His attitude was uncalled for and made me feel like I'm doing something so incredibly wrong - when I'm not. I always ask the return policies. He stopped Marissa from checking me out and doing my return. I explained to Connor that Zoie did my exchange for a jacket as well as for the two sets of gloves. After this, he gave the "okay" to Marissa to check me out and walked away. I can't express how Connor made me feel. The store is great, it's big, clean, and has a lot of variety. I'm so sad to say that I'll never be coming back to this store or shopping at The North Face again. I visited the North Face store in March. If I had been in need of fleece of any kind, this would have been the perfect place to visit. But, I already have an overabundance of fleece, so I didn't really need anymore. The North Face *makes* more than just fleece, but a visit to this store in March would make you think otherwise! The prices were good, if you were in the market for the stuff they had. But their selection (of non-fleece stuff specifically) was lacking. I was disappointed as I've been to The North Face outlets before and had great success. Maybe it's the Year of the Fleece? read more

Fulfilled my shopping needs as a huge TNF fan and bargain hunter, decent selection and deals for an outlet store. Came to this store to return a purchase, ended up purchasing more North Face gear during an extra 40% off sale without the Black Friday craze. Got a $299 snowboarding jacket/parka for $130 and a fleece zip down jacket for $24.99. Situated towards the freeway side of the outlet stores, so park in the less crowded back lot for easier access. read more

The North Face store is a great addition to The Outlets at Castle Rock! I was so excited when they opened and have already been there at least four times in the few months they've been opened. The hubby and I have both gotten great deals on coats here, and every time we visit there seems to be another special going on that we can't resist. I tell myself to stay away, that I have too many coats already -- but that's not working. Besides, in a temperamental state like Colorado, where it can be 70 degrees in the winter on and occasionally still snow in June, you really need a variety of outer gear with different qualities.
