Earning a commission means being the reason a sale took place (I should know, my profession is 100% commission based) . Your first word to me should NOT be to tell me to do something that works better for YOUR paycheck and massively inconveniences me. That's how you get people to walk out, certainly not how you get them to come back again and again...but Reza gets it, he will get you more than taken care of. I love a store that is brightly lit and well stocked, both of which this store is. The sales clerk greeted me quickly but did not hover. As my arms started to get full of clothing to try on she was prompt to unload them from me and put them in a dressing room so I could keep shopping. She made a few suggestions based on what she saw me looking at, and also asked some questions about fit, did I have a specific need, favorite colors, etc. She also pointed out the sales sections and told me exactly what discounts were being offered. I love that she checked on me while I was trying on the clothes, and then brought me a few more items to try. I never felt bothered/pestered, I felt like I was taken care of while given the freedom to wander and choose what I wanted. I loved the attention to detail that the sales clerk provided and also her very friendly attitude. As I was paying for my items the clerk mentioned J. Jill's online shop and suggested I check there for items that might interest me. All in all this was the perfect shopping experience for me. I'm a J.Jill shopper from here on!

While they did have a good selection of clothes from various designers I was very disappointed in the sale ladies lack of customer service and constant judgmental stares right when I walked in the door. I was dressed down in athletic clothes so I guess their only going to acknowledge and help you if your dressed to the nines when you walk in. While I was planning on spending money there on this pair of shorts I was really wanting, I ended up putting them back after not getting any help or acknowledgement from anyone. Another example was when I asked where their sale shoes were and one of them just pointed in a general direction without saying a word and walked away, leaving me to try to find them myself. Even when I walked out of the dressing room there was a daughter and her mom trying on dresses and the sales lady was doting on them but didn't give me a second glance when I came out of the dressing room right beside them. I work at a luxury retail store myself as a manager and I would never let something like this happen. They had a much better selection of contemporary clothing along with all the sales staff being super friendly and helpful the entire time to me.
