Staff did not say hello when we entered but did say hello grudgingly as we passed by each other a little later in an aisle. Four or five staff/vendors were happily talking with each other, but no one engaged us at all, so we wandered around. Nice mix of furniture, housewares, China/dish sets, some jewelry, some cases, toys and some crafty-country themed items. I bought a deep Pyrex pie dish for $3 and a small tin container for $4. And she could probably sell hair gel to a bald person, she's just so good at what she does. That said she will not lead you astray and if something doesn't look good on you, she will kindly let you know. Everyone who works here is excellent, though, so don't worry! They often have sales, and have high quality clothing for all kinds of people, it is my preferred vintage spot in the area. I'll also note I'm a masculine woman and wear exclusively menswear and no one has ever made me feel odd about it here, which is not as common as one would think in this day and age.

Massive shopping plaza with all kinds of restaurants and goodies that you will find located in Binghamton New York in the suburb of Vestal, which is about 3 miles to the west of downtown and I guess pretty bleak for like 7 months a year - but the same can be said about anywhere in this region and anywhere in the Great Lakes for that matter. It's definitely great for the University students to have so many things located in one Plaza, or for anyone who doesn't drive for that matter, and people who want to take a bus and do all your shopping in one proverbial fell swoop. This is a great destination because there are literally so many options for eating and shopping in here. Parking isn't bad, but you might have to walk a little bit for some of the more popular stuff.

Browsing their inventory - it's extensive and generally well organized - is kind of entering a time warp. You won't find that much fiction published in, say, the past 20 or more years.
