Massive shopping plaza with all kinds of restaurants and goodies that you will find located in Binghamton New York in the suburb of Vestal, which is about 3 miles to the west of downtown and I guess pretty bleak for like 7 months a year - but the same can be said about anywhere in this region and anywhere in the Great Lakes for that matter. It's definitely great for the University students to have so many things located in one Plaza, or for anyone who doesn't drive for that matter, and people who want to take a bus and do all your shopping in one proverbial fell swoop. This is a great destination because there are literally so many options for eating and shopping in here. Also, the opening of BJ's, Dick's House of Sports, and Dave and Buster's brought life back into the mall. With that help, the mall is still filled with some empty spaces. I'm sad to see FYE close when I last visited. I'm sure it has a long run. The Commons still looks well maintained and cleaned, and they do a great job with it.
