The ambience is amazing - you can't NOT relax. It's basically a hallway full of rooms, instead of doors there's curtains. There's loud wave/ocean sounds and only whispering so you don't disturb others. I went in for an 80 min prenatal massage and it was great! It took a very long time for me to find a massage therapist in my area who I synced well with. and believe me, I went through A LOT of places and massage therapists- I am very picky! . When I found Janel, I was able to breath a little bit better because I had not had such a great massage in many years. She listens, works on the areas that you need, and when you leave, you are basically in a zen like state for a while. She is SO good. I would highly recommend The Now. I just recently relocated from LA and I love been getting massages regularly for close to 20 years . I've tried the Now in Los Angeles and now here in Naperville multiple times but its all the same . They are overpriced back rubs . They have beautiful athletics inside but If you are looking for a deep tissue massage or any kind of actually recovery or relief from pain , then this is NOT the place for you . It's gotten TOO EXPENSIVE! I bought $100 gift cards for both my husband and myself at Christmas, which came with promotional $20 cards. Which I was really happy to have since they raised their prices. We have been so busy that we just finally got around to using them, but NOW wouldn't honor the promotional cards because they apparently were only good for 3 months. So instead of feeling like we were using a Christmas gift, we felt like we had to spend quite a bit more money to even use our gift cards. And the suggested tip amount is A LOT. I really don't like systems where I have to state out loud the amount I want to tip rather than discretely enter it myself. Makes you feel bad if you don't want to tip their suggested amount. We will be finding another place to treat ourselves - it is just too expensive. I'm not sure how a place with curtains rather than individual rooms can charge that much. The sounds of the chairs being used by massage therapists in the other massage areas were very distracting. read more

At my latest visit, I had Max as my massage therapist. He was amazing and really worked on my stress areas. Not to discount the other therapists, every one I have tried brings a uniqueness to their massage techniques. I recommend trying different therapists as they are all great. What I like about The NOW Massage is you aren't in a secluded room which can make people uncomfortable. Here, everyone shares a large room, where each person's space is sectioned off. Nobody can see you and it's very relaxing with a low lit, very quiet atmosphere, which brings a perfect mood setting for a massage. I would highly recommend a massage here. read more

The NOW is seriously one of the best and most relaxing places in the state of Illinois. I have been a member here for years and they only continue to impress! I've seen several massage therapists but my most recent has been Jade and she is absolutely AMAZING. Besides doing the typical speech on what's bothering you/areas that need attention, she actually follows up to make sure things actually felt good. Not only does she have magic hands, she also just brings such warm friendly energy that makes you want to keep coming back. Every time I have seen her, I end up dozing off multiple times because everything feels so relaxing and you can feel the demons leave your body ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME (&& money). READ THE FULL REVIEW!! My mom got me a massage that I waited years for. I'm a mom to twin toddlers and haven't taken any time for myself since having them. My massage was booked the day before a trip to visit family. Upon walking in the staff was all nice enough but it doesnt makeup for the experience. To start, 3 clients and 3 massueses all have consultations in one tiny room where it's really loud and awkward with everyone talking over eachother. The massage I got was called the Stretch and there was literally no stretching? I paid for deep tissue which was only done painfully on my back with the rest of the massage being so gentle I barely felt anything it was underwhelming. The girl doing my massage was sniffling the whole time which kept me anxious the whole time wondering if this girl was sick. I have little kids so my worry was for them. I asked her after the massage and she said it was her allergies but still what?? It was every 30 seconds. I didn't have the guts to complain when I checked out but things GOT WORSE. Over the next few hours my face developed a weird rash including a couple of cysts that lasted my entire trip visiting my family!! So embarrassing. I did reach out to the soa after my trip because it was bothering me that my experience was so had for over $200! The manager confirmed I didn't have a cover over my face cradle it was just the cotton which is so unsanitary!! I just wanted a refund honestly the girl can keep her tip of course but things got EVEN WORSE!! It took almost 3 weeks of back and forths with multiple people for the manager Aaliyah to finally let me know that her boss will not talk to me will not refund me and essentially doesn't care. The owner is 110% unwilling to budge what so ever and wont even talk to me himself. The owner only cares about $$$$$$$$$$ of course what a piece of work. They really needed my moms $200 that badly. We wanted a refund so we can go to a reputable place and review a clean, professional massage. This place isnt what the facebook hype shows. The beds are just divided by curtains its weird. Also the manager did apologize that they hired a lot of new people recently so the girl I had was probably new.. all together this has been the most unpleasant and stressful massage experience I could've ever imagined. read more

Incredible massage. I dislocated my shoulder a while back leaving me with constant shoulder, neck and upper back pain. I also have a bulging disc in my lower back that causes pain to shoot down my leg. I explained to Joe Pignato and he was able to provide relief that I did not get from physical therapy or Chiro. He knows his stuff and was able to relieve tension/naughts allowing for better mobility and much needed pain relief. Definitely will be coming back. The facility was beautiful- at first I wasn't super comfortable with just curtains between the tables but the loud ocean sounds made you feel like you were in your own world! Since it was my first time I did not realize I could tailor my massage preferences - I will say my masseur was strong! So in the future I now know I can ask for less pressure. It felt incredible though - I booked a 90 min massage and I swear I dozed off several times it was so relaxing! He was incredibly professional. Many times I have tightness in my shoulders, neck, and lower back. While I have experienced many of The NOW's therapists and have loved them all, Yarely was simply masterful at relieving my neck and shoulder pain most recently. I had her again after traveling and experiencing a different massage space at a high end spa out of state. The comparison wasn't even close. The service here was great! The waiting room was peaceful. I booked the Now 50 with gliding cupping. I only waited less than 10 minutes before I was taken back for my massage. My massage therapist and the service itself were great. I had only ever done fixed cupping before, so I wasn't sure what to expect with gliding cupping. Gliding cupping was a bit uncomfy for me, but I feel that the results were well worth it. I slept so well following my massage and my upper body feels so relaxed and comfortable. I would say my experience was half relaxing and half "body work." The only thing I did not like was that all of the massage beds are in one large room, divided by curtains. The room is dark with a loud sound machine so it does feel private, until the people next to you start moving/working. read more
