I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.

Well situated on a…read morecorner road, with a good range of businesses, anchored by a Wollworths supermarket it has everything you could want if you were a local resident. There is a cafe, newsagent, chemist, bottle shop, baker, credit union ATM and a chicken shop among others. The car parking is well laid out with a central pedestrian walkway so you can park and then walk easily to the front door. of the mall. Now that the trees are starting to mature, during summer there are also some shady parks to be had.

One day it could be imagined it will join up with the home hardwear section to the South, and there will be a kilometre long stretch of capitalist opportunity. It's unfinished yet but the basics and more are here to make this the go to spot for those in the local area. While it's new and expanding it's even worth to come here from further away every once and a while. There us a chance it will have shops not in your area. We can see this easily becoming a 5 star rating when it is completed. But, for now, we will certainly be back.

Well, it's a pretty standard shopping centre. I like coming here for my weekly shop (and, as you…read moremay have spotted from my check-ins, a lot of Christmas shopping too). There are two supermarkets inside as well as a green grocer, newsagent, banks, post office, Service SA, chemist, sushi place (and some more takeaway across the car park), phone shops, electronic shop, clothes shops, optometrist, key cutters/shoe repairs... and probably more. They've managed to get an awful lot in here. There may not be any local organic coffee places or specialty boutiques inside, but that's not really what we're judging here. This is a shopping centre, a place you go to get all your odd jobs done along with the grocery shopping and it meets that very well. Buses stop right in front, there is ample parking and another shopping centre just across the road if there happens to be something you've missed. Also, special mention goes to the wooden bench right near bus stop 17. I have no idea why, but this is the most comfortable park bench I have ever sat on!

However, this is a pretty decent sized shopping centre, probably the largest in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide. There is a pretty decent variety of shops, and they have also spruced the entrance up a bit as well, including moving the cinema entrance outside of the shopping centre. Oh, and there is also a bus station that sends buses directly to the city along the O-Bahn, which actually makes the journey pretty quick (when some idiot doesn't decide to drive down it that is). Anyway, this shopping centre certainly isn't bad.

Back in the days of Happy Pants, flourescent sunglasses and talking your fat mate into doing the…read moreTruffle Shuffle, there was really only one decent shopping option other than Rundle Mall, and that was Tea Tree Plaza, or TTP for those in the know. Back in those days it was a fair bit smaller than the the multi-hall extravaganza it is today. With a number of extensions and the odd facelift, TTP has been surpassed by Marion as the city's second shopping destination, but it will always be higher on the list to me! Living north of the city sees me visiting TTP more often than I used to, and although I still prefer the trek into Rundle Mall, I find that almost all I need can be found out there. Plenty of shops on offer, plus a pretty decent food court with a number of options, keeps me entertained and fulfilled on each visit. Because it is spread over a fair distance (not to mention the mini-plaza that houses Toys R Us and a number of other major shopping sites), you can find yourself copping some pretty sore quads on a shopping excursion, especially if you are comparing prices, deals or are just indecisive like me! In reality, Town is by far a better choice, but if you live out that way and can't be stuffed with the hassle and the parking (not to mention save a bit of petrol money) then TTP is just fine.

IGA Food Stores has something for everyone...so whether you're in the mood to strap on your trackpants, buy some tasty snacks, take a little stroll through the local park, listen to the cars and neighbouring kids going past you, grab some energy drinks, take a break from your house - you can do it here at one time or another. Plus...it's so affordable, perfect for when you have less than $20 to spend! Take your iPod and your sweatpants, or take a family member for a walk - it's tough not to visit this place!

Due to its Gepps Cross location, I am lucky enough to be the first to review. Today my best friend and I were cruising around, you know, just shopping for some cool stuff...and this massive store happened to be right next to JB Hi-Fi, where we bought a new PS3 game to play together. Yes, we young guys love our computer games. I admit it - we were going to go home straight after, but I couldn't resist it. We stepped in, and all I could mutter was, "Whoa!....This is massive! And it's so well laid out!" I ... just ... can't....get...enough! The male owner smiled and said hello to me straight away! He's hidden, located right in the middle of the store, so you have to walk a few metres forward before you see him. He introduced me to his range of products, and I was impressed with his efficient furniture education. The latest colours are black and white modern, and the prices were shocking - $600 for a black desk! And he told me I can mix and match colours such and dark and light browns stylishly with other colours. He then showed me what rustic (country) furniture looked like...now I have a better idea of how I'm going to lay out my new house in the future. But hopefully my bank account doesn't go bankrupt if I'm going to make my interior look as snazzy as this store.

This is thrift gold! Sparkly shiny gold! Round she Goes stall holders have a lot of designer labels on their racks. But also some home made beauties. You will find everything from shoes, jewellery, handbags, hats, roller skates to vintage kimonos. After rummaging through some stock, I came across some super cool Oneteasppon shorts, some Evil Twin dresses and a pair of Mink Pink rose jeans! I only spent around $50 for all of that! Yeehaa! If you are coming to this event, be sure to get there early. You need to beat the crowds to get the good stuff. Remember, when it comes to vintage gear, there is only one of each item. But, there is definitely plenty of gear for everyone! This is also a great opportunity for lovers of fashion to sell some unwanted clothing. You can apply to be a market stallholder via the website. I am actually thinking of holding a stall next time! With only a $2 entry fee to pay for entry, you can save big bucks on designer pre-loved gear. Love this market so very much!

Seriously, the place is probably smaller than my living room, but I've spent well over an hour just checking out books and albums and I've barely scratched the surface! If you're looking for a rare book then check this place out. The owner is really friendly and keen to help if you're looking for something. If you're looking for a certain book or album, chances are it's here, he just needs to dig through the stock to find it. Come back in a week or so and it'll probably be there waiting for you to pick up. I just can't express how much I love this store. I don't always buy something, but it's a lot of fun wasting an afternoon ploughing through stock just to see what you might find. I always find myself thinking "wow I haven't seen that for years" or "I've never seen that before"
