Our wedding coordinator knew her duties and the owner seemed to try to overstep how we wanted our sons wedding to be. From setting up tables to food preparation which we had a catering food truck. The owners would not let them bring in their prepared food and having the food truck come in and out of the rain with 5/8 plates for a wedding of 150 guests. The venue we booked for Friday and Saturday and on top of that had to have decorations down the same night. And also let's not forget about the AC as they would go and change it while you were not looking. You pay for a venue to enjoy the way you want it and to setup the way you want it not the way the last people had theirs setup.

Refrigerator & clean towels were provided in the room. For these things alone, I would've given a 5 star rating. And, I love that pets are allowed; but, this is where the 5 rating becomes a 3. Pets are allowed and it's quite noticeable the moment I opened the door to the room. The room smelled heavily of pet urine the moment you open the door. Frayed carpeting, sticky floors in entry & bathroom. Strong smell of pet urine in the corners of the bathroom that worsened as you got closer. Heavily stained furniture. I avoided sitting on the sofa. Door of our room: Damaged and warped at the bottom corner of the door, leaving a significant gap between the lower corner of the room door and door jamb. As a woman, if traveling alone, I would not have felt safe. It was late and told no other rooms were available. Later found out that there were other rooms with 2 queen beds available, ours was a King room. Extremely large rooms. In room coffee maker is available upon request but I highly recommend their fresh ground coffee offered at breakfast. Although a shower cap and laundry bag weren't offered in the room, I was able to obtain them from the front desk. The shower/tub combo doesn't have a clean or inviting appearance. Surprisingly, the pressure was super nice. Bathtub/shower combo had a non-slip surface but pealing around the drain. Again, despite the appearance, the shower delivered an extremely relaxing spray. Bathroom toilet and sink were very clean. Other room amenities: Iron with iron board. 2 hangers. Complimentary toiletries included hand wash, lotion and hair dryer. As another reviewer said, this place has so much potential. The odor and sticky floors were very off putting - Found myself playing a mental game of the Floor is lava. When I got into the car the following morning I could smell pet odor emitting from the soles of my shoes. At this point, I called the hotel, I spoke to the manager and let her know how unsettling & unpleasant the odor was. She was very confused by the odor, saying no one had used the room for a very long time. They just replaced the AC in that unit. In spite of what she said, it smelled like a boarding kennel and that a dog had been left unattended for a while. She offered to check it. Although I left a privacy placard on the door, I gave her permission to enter and have a housekeeping attendant to enter with her to mop the floor; which improved the situation. I'd really like to give this establishment a 5 star rating because the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and clean, as were the towels. They were very fresh and white as any 5 star hotel. I'm giving a 3 rating for others to be aware. I love that it's a pet friendly place. Sometimes leaving fur babies at home is unavoidable. Truly, it's a joint effort of the hotel guests to help the hotel management to keep the establishment cleanly. I'd advise to travel with a crate or a play pen for your pet. As a pet lover I'm very compassionate so when I stay in pet friendly hotels I travel with Febreze Pet Odor remover; which was a huge save on my allergies and made my 2 night stay tolerable. I hope to hear they've made improvements in the areas of safety and odor. I'd like to stay here in the future. I hope this helps you on your journey and I wish you safe travels.

We attended a wedding in August and it was pretty hot outside because as a guest, you have to stay seated for a bit for the whole ceremony, but that is a seasonal thing. There was an outdoor patio appetizer set up area to mingle for a little bit, and then we moved indoors to be seated for dinner and the reception I thought the venue was perfect. The only big tip that I would have liked to have received before attending was to try to come with an SUV or four-wheel-drive because the incline to get up to the location is pretty steep!! It was a little scary and I wouldn't have liked to have been the one driving.

She was absolutely incredible and I cannot say enough good things about her. Everyone in the wedding party noticed how attentive and helpful she was. The venue itself is in a stunning location. The photos from the evening are just amazing against the beautiful backdrop. Everything was just beautiful, especially because we picked the all-inclusive package which really helped cut down on the extra things I needed to plan as a bride. All of their details were handled with easy to access and manage online forms. The ONLY reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to a very disappointing experience with the DJ provided by the venue. I am trying hard not to fault the venue for this, but it really was pretty heartbreaking for me as the bride. The DJ, a young man who had been with the company several years I was told, played the wrong song as I walked down the aisle. Instead of playing the instrumental version of one of me and my husband 's favorite songs, the DJ played our aisle exit song as I walked down the aisle. The song had words and was upbeat. Although a meaningful song to us as a couple, it was just not the bridal moment I had always dreamt about. It the moment, I just went with it because I didn't want to stop and go back, I just wan't sure what to do, but I really can't stop thinking about how that moment of walking down the aisle that I'e always dreamt of was taken from me by a DJ just not paying enough attention. To make matters just a bit worse, he then played that same song as we exited the ceremony space. I had a few guests mention to me how it was as "interesting choice in ceremony music" and I just had to explain that there had been a mistake. I felt really embarrassed and disappointed. In addition, even though I had hand selected the songs to play at the reception, the DJ somehow loaded up the wrong playlist and the first 4 or 5 songs weren;t ones I had picked. Oldies were played, which was fine I guess ... just not our kind of music. After alerting Anna to the fact that this was not our music the problem was rectified. After reaching out to Chris and Bethany about my frustration and sadness over this issue they were very apologetic and let me know that that DJ would no longer be working for their company. I feel a sense of relief for upcoming brides that will not have to feel the disappointment of having that one special moment ruined, but I also feel a sense of guilt for having that employee lose their position.

On this past Saturday, My friend celebrated…read morethe second part of her 50th Birthday Sparking-chic at Whiskey River West location. We arrived in a nice luxury party bus. When we got off the party bus they offered us a one complimentary drink ,and one free bull ride card. So of course, everyone was excited to get on the dance floor. Also, they had two DJ's one inside and also on the back patio outside too. We definitely had an amazing time. I can't wait to try out the other locations too!
