Popped in the mall for a few things. First time here and it wasn't bad. They have some of my favorite stores although I couldn't peruse as I wanted as it was close to closing time. I did end up at Pandora and Pink. Customer service at both stores were superb. People were friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice experience here. Hope to come back.

RVs NOT WELCOME. I've stopped here dozens of times over the years without an issue. It's a nice halfway point between Orlando & South Georgia where we live. We've shopped at Penney's, & LENSCRAFTERS. We usually get something to eat from Buffalo's Wild Wings, Chick-Fil-A, BJ's, or Boston Market & since the pandemic we'd take it back to our motorhome which we park on the farthest edge of the parking lot so as to not take up any space near the building that others may need and eat it there. Then head home after a quick bite. This time while we were in the RV eating the food we bought there their mall cop stuck this "violation" warning on the door without ever knocking. So I guess The Oaks Mall doesn't want customers from the thousands of RVers traveling up and down I-75 each day. As malls continue to die out they would rather not have our money. It's nice to know that one exit down is a Cracker Barrel, a Bass Pro shop and a Home Depot that welcomes us and our patronage. There's also a Dave & Busters, Spurrier's Restaurant, and Miller's Ale within walking distance.

A visit to the Oaks Mall for Holiday shopping turned out better than expected. It is super large with lots of stores and a good food court. I enjoyed my window shopping experience while meeting a couple of locally owned store proprietors. I am happy to see a vibrant shopping mall that has large chain store anchor tenants alongside the many other smaller store fronts doing brisk holiday business.

Not a nice mall at all. Disappointing that this is the only one in Gainesville. If I go back, it will be to just run into a specific store.

Good place to stop while visiting the Gainesville area, especially if you're interested in Gator merchandise!

When we first moved to Ocala, we were staying at The Drury hotel nearby because we work from home and did not have internet yet. Since we are totally new to the area, we figured Celebration Pointe would be a good place to explore. As a Yelper, I always research a place prior to going and that was the same for here. We also enjoy some nightlife and this place looked like it suited our needs. We actually visited here twice during our stay at Drury. The first night we visited, we were only looking to grab some drinks. We tried one place but it appeared unorganized and too busy so we went to the piano bar. There was a cozy sitting area in the middle of the walkway outside and decided to grab some seats and enjoy our drinks. I was dumbfounded because there have not been many places I have visited that had a lot of seating and significant ambiance. There was a gorgeous and fancy firepit that could seat about 10 people around it so that is where we sat. I love to people watch (maybe that's the NY in me) and this is a great place to do that. Our second visit here, we did walk around more to visually see some of the businesses. We actually came earlier than the previous time so we could actually go into the store because they were open. I was upset we already ate dinner because the steakhouse looked really good. I shopped in one of the stores but did not find anything I desperately wanted. I was craving ice cream so we stopped in Kilwins and ordered a milkshake. All of our favorite seats were taken so we decided to grab drinks again at the piano bar and sit there. We have been reminiscing about Celebration Pointe since we visited and plan to return when we have more time.

Celebration pointe is a nice but small local venue of a few shops, restaurants and a movie theatre…read more Big names like Bass pro shops and Nike seem to be the only big stores there. While walking around, I noticed there are a lot of empty retail spaces so hopefully they will get some good tenants to make the space a lot more diverse to shop and eat.
