I understand why this place gets such great ratings. If you've been to the antique stores around the Denver area and get tired of the same old uninteresting stuff, then you need to come to this place. It has something for just about anyone - jewelry, glassware, hats, purses, lots of gently used clothes, collectables of all kinds, odd, unique items, furniture, fossils, games, electronics, typewriters, magazines, comic books, and on and on. The great feature of this store is it's organized and not a dumping ground for old unwanted stuff. I looked through their vinyl records which were categorized alphabetically and unlike most antique stores where the majority of albums are '60s Country & Western has-beens, there were actually classic albums I wanted to buy. There are so many cool things at this place I can only explain it as a Meow Wolf where you can buy the cool things you see. This oddities shop is awesome - it is filled to the brim with all kinds of curious, interesting, odd, old, and strange things of all sorts. My favorite items were the vast collection of typewriters but there was so much to see and look at. I wish I lived locally so I could bring so much of it home! read more

This place is packed full of unique finds. I'm talking floor to ceiling, look behind that vase there's likely a hidden gem, type of spot. I've been on the lookout for a vintage table lighter for quite sometime now and found my dream piece here. Was expecting to pour some time, effort and money into fixing it up & to my surprise found one here that was fully functional. Found some beautiful candlesticks as well that were decently priced. cool little shop in englewood/outside of Denver. I was on the search for some furniture and while I wasn't able to find anything, I did find a few cool shirts and coats. It's a little on the pricey side but anything that's antique/thrift is kind of pricey nowadays. Long gone or the days of inexpensive thrift store shopping. read more

Great service and amazing finds in both stores. Owners own the two stores side by side and all gems. Our favorite pieces were a bit pricey but since we keep talking about it at home, we're going back this wknd to buy it. The front of this store does have alot of new items. Some I could easily find on Amazon for cheaper. Alot of steampunk costumes , glasses, hats & so on. I'm not sure if I've ever walked by a shop and suddenly lost about an hour of my day so easily. It was such a fun shop that I had to go back and look again a day later! If I lived in Denver, I would definitely frequent the shop. The Odditorium lives up to the name. A seemingly endless array of unique offerings from various eras. Tons of strange antiques mixed with more modern creations, like masks, hats, and creepy decorations. Need some skeletal remains or a strange clown sculpture for your home? Look no further! Looking for vintage glassware or jewelry without braking the bank? You might have luck here! Started a day of oddities shopping in Denver here and it was a pretty cool shop. The front of the store was full of oddities and curiosities but the rest of the store felt more like a regular antique shop. From the outside window displays I guess I was expecting more oddities and less antiques, but overall they had some cool stuff and it's worth stopping by if you're in the area. Also worth noting is that we came here on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened and there were already several other groups of people waiting for the doors to open. Shortly after we got in, the place was so packed it was hard to make our way around and actually see everything. While I'm happy for the store that it's that busy, just be advised that might have to fight through crowds to see what you want. read more

Ended up in this shop because it's in an antique shop area - South Broadway. The owners & staff are helpful & friendly, ready to answer any questions. The day I went in, end of September, they had gotten the store ready for Halloween. It was so much fun to look at all the handmade costumes, masks, gadgets, recreations, as well as the antiques they had. I spent more time than I'd planned just looking around because it was so clever & entertaining. There's an outdoor courtyard currently filled with: a working, creaky doll-filled ferris wheel, an Annabelle doll whose eyes light up, and all kinds of cool/creepy decorations. There are antiques in the shop, as well. Of all the shops I visited that day, this was my favorite. read more
