I have been to Off Track Saloon a few times and have never left in disappointment. They have the best fried chicken and catfish I have ever eaten. Everything that I have tasted is so flavorful!! They do a lot of business so at times mistakes are made but they are very far and few in between... And always corrected. This not considered to be a family oriented establishment but it is a fun and inviting place nonetheless. The lighting is perfect for the atmosphere. read more

BEWARE! Each of my friends and I were charged for DOUBLE the quantity of drinks! Thankfully we reviewed our receipts before blindly paying. Once we brought it up to the bartender, we weren't provided with an explanation and there wasn't any remorse. Makes it tough for me to believe it was an honest mistake. The food's decent. The ambiance is giving bachelor uncle's man cave vibes. Really dig the patio. I am creating a Yelp account to leave this review. I'm not typically one who reviews businesses but I feel the need to speak out. TLDR: Certain regular customer allowed way too much leeway, bartenders not paying attention, adding drinks to tab, dangerous environment I have never had such a crazy experience in my life. And on my birthday to make it even worse. Not only was Mira drunk to the point where I was asking for drinks 3 or more times at a barely crowded bar BUT she also gave me her phone number which we were both open to at the time due to casual conversation which resulted in a whole slew of unforeseen and undeserved problems. Some regular and former employee named Kalib Carlyle walked up to me, ripped the number in my hand, and threatened me while telling me to leave. Mind you she gave it to me and I did nothing wrong. I did not make any rude comments and I know no one there. Not a single staff member stood up for me. Then the child proceeded to stand behind the bar and lock eyes with me and stand right across from me. Mind you he is not staff. I eventually got my receipt and went to sign it and he made an extreme effort to lean over the bar and stare at my receipt to make sure I wasn't leaving my number. I then had had enough and got up level with him and told him that he's not any boss of mine and let him know that nobody is gonna strong arm me and I'll do as I please and leave when I'm ready. At this point, some of the regulars surrounded me like some stuff you'd see out of a movie. Just weird for them to all of a sudden care when he's dead smack dab in the middle of the bar clearly harassing me. Kalib DEMANDED to see my receipt and some staff member, or regular, I couldn't even tell at this point due to how he got to seemingly be behind the bar too, was grabbing it and reading it to him. All I did was tip 10 on a low tab and leave my signature. I then left and Kalib Carlyle pursued me to my car and was shouting through my window as I got in. Unbelievable experience. The owner should be ashamed to let a former employee get that comfortable as a regular. But hey, at least they change the ceiling decor every 3 months. What a joke of a local scene. Lastly, Mira clearly was using me to make her ex/bf angry since he walked up as soon as she handed me her number. Despicable way to endanger customers if you ask me but nobody cares much about that nowadays. Just go argue at home. Lastly, they added 3 buckets to my friends tab when he showed up the next day to pay and he only had 4 beers and the rest was liquor. If regulars put their drinks on his tab, then that's downright unacceptable because the staff would have had to of known whose tabs are whose when the bar is only half crowded. If they added drinks because we left his card as we were scared for our safety? I'd argue this might be the worst staff I've ever seen then. This is a local bar and the owner doesn't strike me as someone who's honorable so I will be checking to make sure my review isn't deleted. Nobody deserves to walk blindly into an unsafe place like this. read more

I came here for the first time to get food to go. The bartender was friendly and the clientele seemed to be blue-collar neighborhood folk. Bar I guess could be considered a dive but it's pretty nice. The burger I asked for was supposed to be medium but was more well done than anything, but still edible just not as good as it could have been. Fries were, well, typical crinkle fries. All together, I plan to frequent this place a bit more frequently to see how the night atmosphere is. The build your own burger, cheeseburger with fries and a Coors Light ran $14.xx so not too bad. read more

We ordered some take out from here on a Sunday around 5pm because a friend had given us a gift certificate they'd won. We headed out early to check out the place and wait on the food. Estimated timing they gave was spot on (20 mins). We had a drink and checked out the place while waiting. Patio looks nice! Bartender was attentive during the phone order, as well as in person. The place was nice inside. Looked like the bar was full of happy regulars. We shared wings with hot sauce and honey mustard, the Memphis burger with tots, and the colossal chicken gyro with parmesan potatoes. We got all the sauces on the side, so nothing was soggy. We also live close, so that helps. The food exceeded our expectations! The pulled pork on the burger was great and the burger was cooked just as requested. Overall it's a hidden gem and we would recommend it! read more

Hot track burger- jalapeños were overflowing! LOVE!! It was soaked in hot sauce but not dripping. Spicy cheese blended into the jalapeños, but they were definitely the star of the show!! I ordered the MONSTER BLT. the chef came out and said she was making fresh bacon, is the wait ok? For fresh bacon, of course!!! And boy was it worth it. This was my first time here but won't be my last. Looking forward to the fried chicken and fish fry days!!! All the staff was very friendly, bartender was very attentive!!! read more

I've been to several dive bars across the city. This one is great. The bartender and patrons were friendly and food was good. It's mostly a blue collar place and a very eclectic crowd--bikers, cowboys, black, white. It was steady blues music when I was there. They have big screens for the games or dine out back on the patio. I'll be back. read more

We ordered after reading excellent reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was lacking. Chicken sandwich- soggy, with so much mayonnaise it was coming out if the sandwich and saturated the bottom of the bun. Hamburger was dry and like a premise patty nuked in a microwave. This is a hidden gem on Broadway. Great bar, outstanding fresh made bar food and very reasonable. People say it's a biker bar and that may keep people away but I assure you, everyone is friendly and welcoming. I had the shrimp poboy sandwich last week and it was delicious. Jumbo shrimp, hand breaded in a very light batter. Their fried chicken dinner is a half chicken with fries for under $10. The food is amazing, dont miss a chance to stop in for a meal or a carry out. read more

The Off Track Saloon has a great friendly atmosphere and tasty food. Tried it out on a weekday for lunch with co-worker friends. Vinnie's Italian Beef and Gyros serves up a good variety on weekdays and Saturdays. Prompt service is appreciated on your lunch hour especially. Cold beer worked well with the food. The prices are kind on your wallet! Large screen t.v.'s made it easy to keep up with the sports news while we ate. The young owner visited our table with a big smile and we returned the smile with promises to be back soon. I kept the promise with a return visit on a Sunday for lunch with family. Again, the friendly crowd impressed me. On Sundays the menu is bar-b-cue selections by Ron. We ate pulled pork sandwich plates that included 2 sides and rib plates also with 2 sides. Our waitress delivered the plates and mentioned that they often offer pork steak plates on Sundays. The surprisingly reasonable price per plate had us ordering to-go food for home! The outside seating in the fenced back yard looked comfy for my next visit. Try it out! read more
