Came here for dinner, place was jampacked and pretty loud. Started off with a craft draft, of which they have a very nice selection. I ordered the salmon sandwich. I took a bite to find that it was ICE COLD!Upon inspection, I saw that the fish looked like raw salmon. Ultimatley, this was my mistake, I did not read the menu description: this was cold, smoked salmon on toasted bread. I've never seen this type of salmon sandwich on any menu before and IMO it was pretty gross. At least I had fries and beer! read more

Attended for our annual St Patrick's Day meal. Got there just in time for the band. Very loud. Made it next to impossible to have a conversation with my table mates. Our server was hurried and not real friendly. I get that this is probably their busiest day of the year, but that's no excuse for unfriendly service. Aye, I'm not even gone hold you. I like Fallon's. I've been here twice and everything has been pretty consistent. First time I came here, I came alone. I was plgreeted immediately. She was very helpful with helping me decide what I wanted. I ended up getting the buffalo chicken wrap. It was really good! All of my food was hot & fresh. The next time I came, I was with my husband and we ordered a slew of things. We got chicken wings, a salad, gooey butter cake and he got a chicken Philly wrap. Everything was phenomenal. I wish my wings were fried a little harder, to be crispier but they were still good, hot and fresh nonetheless. THAT GOOEY BUTTER CAKEEEEEEEEE. FIRE. My salad was a side portion but it was still HUGE and the house dressing that came with it was the Bomb it was sweet, tangy and savory. Fallon's has excellent Irish food and American fare. We were here on the night Notre Dame football was playing the Nittany Lions and it was on all the TV's and many people at the restaurant were wearing Fighting Irish apparel. It made for a fun evening as we dined at the bar. I ordered the Guinness stew and my boyfriend ordered the strip steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both meals were delicious and enough that we shared them. I really like the flavor of the stew and steak. We also ordered the chicken wings and they were very good and crispy, not fried soggy. Our server in the bar was excellent and hopping busy as she was one of the bartenders too. She regularly checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The ambiance at Fallon's is casual but it's fine to be dressed up here. read more

We've been going to Fallon's since they opened and feel very lucky to have this so near to us! Easily one of the better places in town for pub food and can't name a burger I like better. Only thing on the menu I'm not crazy about are the wings--not bad but sauced is too sweet for my taste and plain could use more flavor but I know others like them, depends on your taste. Love the Irish whiskey club (contest?) where they keep a card for you as you work through their list. (TBH I'm not an Irish whiskey fan but they have a great selection and it's fun to explore.) The vibe is super friendly and relaxed with trivia Wed and really good Irish trad sessions on Saturday (where STL gets these guys I don't know). And it's been open long enough to feel lived-in/homey, like a good pub/tavern should. And it's not a chain! Service has always/long been wonderful, especially Lexi at the bar who has a great memory and somehow never breaks a sweat even when it's hopping. read more

Great pub and a great place to watch the Notre Dame football games. Tonight they even had a Irish duo playing music. That was a little annoying that they were playing during the game (the entire pub was filled with Notre Dame and Navy fans). But they finally got the hint and only played during commercials. I have been here a few times with a club I'm part of. We always sit in the back room, so I can't rate the regular experience. The place is basic faux Irish, nothing special. The Guinness is good, as is the turkey sandwich. And, you can get it with tots. I love tots, and wish the portion was a tiny bit bigger. Their hot items don't look super appealing, so I play it safe and get a cold sandwich. Service is quick and efficient, even when dealing with 25+ people. read more

Took the opportunity to watch Copa America football and Fallon's Bar and Grill was the place. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get seating with no issues. Fallon's has plenty of seating for any group and would be great for any occasion. Our server took our drink order and provided their daily specials. We went with a spinach/artichoke dip with pita bread and was served hot and delicious. After a few minutes reviewing the menu we ordered and took in some sports on the plenty of TVs throughout the place. They do show Cardinals games regularly for those needing their fix. Food was served quickly, great portions and well seasoned. Our server checked up on us to ensure our needs were addressed and drinks were topped off. Good ol Fallon's! This place will forever have a place in my heart. I used to love going here when I lived in the neighborhood so coming back is always special. They never miss! Started off with the potato skins that were cooked just right. If you like a good pub skin, you'll truly fall in love with these. Got to get the breaded buffalo chicken sandwich! Whether you get it with or without blue cheese it truly doesn't matter. A humongous piece of chicken, fried just right then tossed in their buffalo sauce, delicious! Joined a group of folks out on the patio after a MeetUp and was VERY surprised to hear that their special of the day was Corned Beef Hash with Fried Eggs on top! Yesssssss!!! Food was really really good. I had the fried Buffalo. Chicken sandwich and my spouse had the angus burger. We thought the quality was great. Everything was hot and fresh including the sweet potato fries and the homemade chips. The service could not have been better. Our drinks were refreshed often and our server checked with us to be sure we were pleased with our food. It was our first time there and we will definitely return. My husband and I decided to get pick form Fallon's tonight. We got : 1. Spinach artichoke dip- delicious, tasty, plenty of pita triangles for dipping. 2. Cheese curds- ok, not gooey inside. 3. Ruben sandwich- husband loved it. He got broccoli as a side and enjoyed every bite of it. 4. Fish and chips- the most expensive item on this menu, sounded so good. Except instead of beautiful big 3 fish pieces I got 4 super tiny half just breading pieces. I honestly think that that portion would of never been served inside the restaurant and is sent out for the pick up orders since no one ever wants to go back for anything. Despite all other dishes being spot on we will not be considering getting food at Fallons again. read more

We stopped in this evening and had a really nice time. We were seated in the bar area and it was bustling with people. It was a great, friendly atmosphere that was perfectly suited to an Irish pub. I'm one of those annoying Americans that always brags about their plentiful Irish heritage. Therefor I've been going to Irish pubs since I was a kid. This place was great. The service was excellent. Our server was helpful and friendly. Plenty of people helping out. Drinks, food, water refills all came quickly. Food wise we got the happy hour chips with beer cheese and the beef toasted raviolis. The chips had great flavor (my partner loved the cheese dip but I hoped for something a little less processed). The toasted ravioli were really good and there were plenty of them. Both were half off for happy hour. It's a really affordable happy hour with rail drinks half off and plenty of beers on tap. Would make a great stop on the way home from work to grab a drink with coworkers. There seemed to be a band setting up as we were leaving. TLDR: classic pub food with a fun Irish twist. The worst "reuben" I've ever had. We got carryout Tuesday evening, 2/18. My reuben wasn't griddled-bread straight out of the bag. The corned beef was eye of round, which is the cheapest way to make a reuben. There was almost no sauerkraut, cheese, or dressing. The little bit of cheese was the American cheese of Swiss. Warm friendly atmosphere. I felt comfortable immediately. I have been here 4x. The first 3x Lexi was the server. An immediate favorite. This time she is hostess. The server this time is fine as well. I have no complaints except when they are closed (that is not a jab - but a compliment). The food is excellent every time, consistent (which is a rarity these days). The food prices are what you might expect but since the food is awesome, the price becomes even more suitable. I would rather pay similar prices that others charge but here the food, atmosphere and friendly faces and excellent service make this my #1 go to. Some of the staff is there often giving consistency. I consider that a huge plus instead of random part timers patched together. Love the place. I work in a customer facing customer service role. The salads are always fresh, and their homemade dressings stand out among St. Louis restaurants. The Reuben sandwich is generously stacked with corned beef, earning Fallon's a high rank for both quality and price. I tried a burger, and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Their variety of sides includes options like cottage cheese, coleslaw, onion rings, and, of course, fries. We had a baby shower here in early March and the owner was wonderful to work with. They have a private room in the back that worked perfectly. Never been to Fallon's before. Went to the Olivette location. Actually, went three nights in a row during St. Patrick's week. LOL Sat at the bar. Two different bartenders on three visits. Both were excellent. 1st night: Irish Stew, 2nd night: Sheppard's Pie, 3rd night: Bangers and Mash. All three dishes were very good. Great Irish bar atmosphere and menu items. During last trip a guy two bar seats down from me ordered their wings. I asked him if they were as good as they looked. He said: You indeed want to order the wings !! LOL So, I guess I'll make another trip to Fallon's this week and order the wings - a cup of potato soup. read more

This is a locally owned awesome Irish Restaurant. The ambiance is standard Irish with a great patio. They were super busy when we arrived but numerous people checked in letting us know our server would be with us soon. We had cocktails and pickle slices for an appetizer. I enjoyed a lunch of the Italian beef that is served on garlic French toast and is a must try! My friend got their summer salad with strawberries and Mandarin oranges, and he really liked that and the dressing it came with. The real stand out moment of the day was when the owner Dan stopped by our table to check on us. Another half hour later our server, Angela, was busy inside, and Dan came out again. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I can tell you how rare it is, that a manager, let alone an owner, will jump in during the lunch rush and help out their people. Both Angela and the other server that we mentioned this to were adamant that that is just the type of people the owners of this establishment are. Fallon's is a great local bar. Being next to a popular BBQ joint, it sometimes does not get the recognition that it deserves. They serve up a good variety of craft beers, many of them local. Best of all, their food is way better then your typical bar food. I was motivated to stop by today, to support their fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. They were donating $1 for every pint and . 50 for every can of Great Divide Brewing Co.. They're doing this for the entire month of May. While enjoying a couple pints of GDB's Titan, my friend who has a down syndrome grandchild and I shared a couple of the most popular items at Fallon's. We shared an order of chicken wings and split and split a Reuben Sandwich with fries. It was more then enough food. We were both stuffed sharing these items. The chicken wings were meaty and as other reviewers have commented, they have a perfect blend of heat and sweet. I'm a counter and I was pleased to see that they serve up the exact same number of flats and drums. What makes their reuben stand out from your typical deli reuben, is that they serve theirs on a rye hoagie. The hoagie was a nice twist, to the typical sliced rye bread. They also, bake the corned beef in house, before topping it with sauerkraut and melted swiss cheese. Our servers, were great. All of them were friendly and attentive.
