It's a very comfortable place for lunch or anytime really. The staff is attentive. Because I'm a senior and can't eat large amounts, I ordered the child's fried fish plate with sweet potato fries. The fish was excellent and the sweet potato fries are the best I've had. I would highly recommend. read more

Service was pretty good and fast. I ordered the chicken wrap and it was FULL of lettuce and the chicken was very chewy, like it was made another day. It wasn't good so I ate the tortilla only after dumping out the lettuce. The sweet potato fries are awesome! I'd go again but get something different. read more

I never thought I would have to write a review like this but the office in pectoral change that they are so slow we got there at 1:30 we didn't get our food till 3 and some of us didn't even get our food the food was not the best our orders were being got wrong left and right we spent a lot of money and they over charged me and I had to get a refund and they were so rude one lady was mad that we were complaining but some of us had to cancel our order and they charged me $25 for 4 sliders and fries and my friends were charged $17.50 if I were you I would never in my life go to this restaurant read more

Definitely a pleasant surprise for Pleasanton. The food here is simple, classic, American style and it's in an ambiance much like the Rustic. It looks like much of the food isn't exactly made in house / gourmet but everything is cooked decently and for the area, it's probably a good pick for lunch. Came here about two years ago and came back while in town for work. This time I got the fried fish with fries and a side salad. The food took awhile to come out, but I can't be mad because everything was hot and crispy! The portion size was huge. The side salad was just a side salad, i'll try another side next time. Wait staff can remember orders, management stinks and bar can't make drinks (so buy beer). 3/15/2024 we are got here 15 mins early for crawfish which started at 7. At 8 we are told another 30 mins management comes over after we ask for him and says something was wrong with boiler they had to go get another part. Disappointing Valentine's Day Experience Valentine's Day is supposed to be a night of love and good vibes, but our experience at The Office was anything but. From the moment we walked in, the bartender "Stephanie" let us stand there for several minutes--not because she was busy, but simply out of rudeness. When she finally acknowledged us, she was short and dismissive, and when we clarified our order, she acted irritated instead of just fixing the mistake. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the music, but after an hour of waiting, not a single server approached us. When we went back inside to get another drink and figured we'd just order our appetizer at the bar, the same bartender snapped at us, saying, "You know you have a server outside." We explained that no one had come to our table, and we hadn't even seen a server trying to help. Instead of being understanding, she flat-out refused to take our food order. We went back outside, hoping someone would eventually come by. Another 45 minutes passed--still nothing. At that point, we almost gave up. What a disappointment. This night was supposed to be about love and good energy, and instead, we got terrible service and an experience that completely ruined the evening. Definitely won't be back. read more

My husband and I and two of our close friends went for dinner and it was a nice surprise! The set up outside is pretty cool they have an area for a live band or Dj and picnic tables bar stools and lights kinda like an outdoors camp vibe. But when you go inside it's decked out like one of them chic eateries from the city with a rustic vibe! With tvs for all kids of sports great music not overwhelming. The servers are super sweet, very attentive even on a busy day! The food comes out pretty fast and ohhh my goodness is it tasty! I owes god the Mardi Gras Pasta, yumm. If you like spicy and pasta it's soo delicious comes with shirmp and sausage sooo good!! My husband got the Steak side salad and loaded mash!! That steak was the best steak he ever had he said ! Pretzel appetizer was allot better than it looked and the cheese dip was nicely spicy. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Seasoned nicely but parts of it were really tough. The corn was under seasoned but the potatoes were hot and garlicky. The service was very good. read more

The chicken fried steak was not great but appeared more than the advertised weight of 5 ounces. The service was excellent even though it was a little slow coming out but it was hot and good. The ambiance is a down home feeling and one may choose an inside or outside table which on cooler days make it perfect. The selection of food here is great. They have sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of appetizers (from fried pickles, cheese curds to nachos). Excellent selection. We tried the fried pickles, chicken tenders with fries, grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Best fried pickles I've ever had. These pickles had substance. They were moderately sliced and perfectly battered. Every bite had the perfect amount of pickle popping and crunch. They are served with a nice ranch sauce. These were great. Portion can easily serve 4. Chicken tenders were real chicken. You can taste the freshly fried chicken and the meat was nice and clean. The fries were freshly cut and perfectly fried. The plate comes with a very delicious gravy. Grilled chicken sandwich was seasoned to perfection. A nice clean chicken breast on a very tasty soft bun (I believe it was ciabatta) with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I ordered sweet potato fries for this plate and was very happy I did. The best part of the meal of the was the nicely salted sweet potato fries with honey dipping sauce. I have no idea how this place knew I eat my homemade sweet potato fries with honey, but this was the sweetest moment of the meal. This is one office I wouldn't mind doing some overtime in. :-) Keep serving up the great food. A shoutout to our server Angelica who was super attentive, friendly, entertaining and helpful. This place was nice on the inside and out. Server was okay, felt new, wasn't really familiar with the menu. My date had recommended the jalapeño margarita. I ordered it, but the bartender didn't take out the seeds ! So the whole time I'm drinking, it's spicy and burning and that was the only thing I had to drink and cool off, it was a paradox. Visiting Pleasanton for work today. A co-worker that lives in Pleasanton recommended I try this place as it has been remodeled and (I believe) new ownership for when I tried this place a few years ago. Let's just say, very pleasantly surprised with the changes. The service was amazing, food was amazing and atmosphere was perfect. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. All of it was delicious. If I lived here, I would have taken what I couldn't eat home for leftovers... My co-worker (from Uruguay) ordered the pasta fettuccini with marinara sauce and garlic bread (special order because she didn't want the veggies or chicken- just pasta) She ate almost all of it. She said it was sooo good! We shared a brownie with ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce.... oh my goodness, we could only have a few bites, but it was so worth it! read more

Good food, decent drinks, HORRIBLE service! Inside or outside, you have to wait a ridiculous amount of time just for someone to come to you. Most of the time, the waitresses are sitting comfortably on the porch. The times service has been excellent was because of our waitress Michelle. Her service is always excellent. She continuously makes rounds, and you are never left waiting for anything. Great personality and very customer oriented. Aside from service, we haven't eaten anything we didn't like - or drank. Before the meal came out the manager asked what second side we wanted and we all said potatoes and had been told we only got one side. When the bill can we where charged for substituting the corn.
