I had a haircut with Victoria the salon owner and manager in January 2025. Without a doubt, the worst haircut I've ever had.

I looked up the closest barber shop and lo and behold, Corrado's was a short walk away. These guys are fantastic! I havent had a shave and haircut this good in a long time. It's a no-nonsense kinda joint. Not super chatty (which I like), just have a seat and away we go. I will take a point off as they are Cash Only and the place is a bit of a mess. Also it's not cheap, despite how it looks, they charge premium prices. But it's worth it for sure. And there's a CIBC in the plaza you can hit up for cash first. I will be back, 100%

You won't find a better barber shop or better people anywhere else. Corrado, Ross and Sebastian make you feel at home. Just hanging out with guys. You feel among friends almost family like. You won't get that feeling at a super cuts. They are also great barbers. I have never left Corrado's feeling like I had a bad cut or shave and the prices are very affordable in fact for the cut and great experience it''s a steel. I will be a loyal customer for as long as they are around and I am sure my son will be too. Thanks guys for being awesome. P.S. Corrado you are going to owe me two more coffees this month when the Habs kill beat the Leafs twice.

So this place is called something else right now, Black & White Barber Shop. Not sure how long they have been in business under this name/ownership, but it seems to be somewhat less than a year.. The place is very clean, and although they have maybe 8 to 10 chairs available, but on a Friday afternoon there was only two barbers on shift. But it's a good size place They do not accept appointments so walk-ins only, first come first serve. Pricing is good, anywhere from $22-$25 for a standard cut.. They're very quick, and get things done fast..The end result is pretty good, better than what i've had lately from other place. Will definitely go back and recommend this place.

This barbershop is spacey, clean, and professionally looking overall. The barber (Sherko) is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took extra care of my hair. Best part is that this is a Men's barber shop, which means your haircut won't be rushed just because there are few women waiting with an extra $100 to spend! Overall I'm very pleased with my haircut. I surely recommend this place to all guys who are tired of their current barbershop and are looking for a better experience.

Today's review is about Jay -- the tall, slim male hairstylist with glasses, who is also one of the…read moreowners of the salon. I am intentionally using this description because I noticed many other one-star reviews describe him the exact same way. What happened to me at this salon yesterday morning ruined my entire weekend. I cried for hours afterward, and honestly, I never imagined I could be humiliated like this during a haircut. I never thought I would be brought to tears by a hairstylist. The situation started from something extremely simple. During the haircut, I noticed the stylist cutting the front sections shorter than I expected. I politely asked whether he could make the layering transition softer so I could keep the front sections slightly longer, because in daily life I often need to tie my hair up while cooking, exercising, or doing housework. That was literally all I said. For some reason, he immediately became defensive and aggressive. He raised his voice, started speaking much faster, and completely changed his tone. I was still trying to calm the situation down, and I told him three times: "Please don't get upset." Instead of calming down, he became even more emotional and then accused ME of having a bad attitude. As customers, we are the ones who have to live with the haircut afterward. Are we really not allowed to communicate our needs or ask questions? Even if our questions sound inexperienced, are we not allowed to ask respectfully? But the most unacceptable part happened afterward. In the middle of the haircut, he simply walked away from me. At that point, only the left side of my hair had been finished while the right side had not been fully trimmed or refined yet.. He gave me no explanation at all -- not even a simple "please wait a moment." He just walked away and started serving another new customer. So I was left sitting there with half of my hair unfinished. What made it even worse was that I could hear them laughing and talking about me behind my back while working on the other customer. It was humiliating and incredibly helpless. When he finally came back to finish my haircut, I was literally crying in the chair. Even afterward, I still tried to communicate calmly, but he remained emotional and defensive. Eventually, he loudly said "I apologize to you!" in an exaggerated and sarcastic tone that sounded nothing like a sincere apology. After I got home, I checked online reviews and discovered many other customers describing the same tall, slim male stylist with glasses as disrespectful and unprofessional. Reading those reviews made me realize that I was not "overreacting," and I was not "trying to cause trouble." Many customers clearly felt disrespected during their experience as well. What disappointed me even more was that instead of facing the situation himself, he called my husband -- because our entire family had been loyal customers of his for a long time, and they had previously exchanged phone numbers -- and also called his sister, the other owner of the salon, to come handle the situation for him. The undeniable fact is this: he abandoned a customer in the middle of a haircut and went to serve someone else instead. Even then, the focus was never on understanding why a customer was crying in the salon. The focus was on defending themselves and minimizing the situation. I am writing this review not to argue, but to warn other customers that even if you are polite, careful with your tone, respectful, and simply trying to communicate your needs, you may still end up being treated with hostility, sarcasm, emotional aggression, and public humiliation. This was by far the worst and most upsetting salon experience I have ever had.
