Deli sandwiches were very good portion. Had Italian Hero which was very good. Chicken Salad is A+ on a spinach wrap was overstuffed and daughter couldn't finish. Try the fries, they are very good and unique shaped like the fries on a stick. But round circles. Order at the restaurant, but pay at the other side (by coffee counter). Excellent place to stop when driving 17. I always stop here for lunch or dinner. They make the best sandwiches and have a huge selection to pick from. Hot and cold plus endless drink options. read more

I only had a brief encounter with the employee and they were nice. I stopped by to use the restroom and stretch on my way to visit a friend. Who doesn't love a dutch farmers market that posts memes?! Lol It's a cute little dutch market and I loved it x) Bathrooms were clean so that's a plus :) read more

Our always stop on the road from CNY to Westchester and back. Clean bathrooms, competitively priced gas, local products and great deli.

Stopped by here with my family as a pit stop up state and the location was ok. The caffe didn't have too many options and was fairly over priced for a latte. It is essentially a rustic looking convenience store with a built in cafe. There doesn't seem to be much to do in this area so if you do need to get essentials or use the bathroom I would recommend it. read more

What a fun find. Stopped here for gas and restrooms on the way to NYC and found that - and then some! Great snacks, full deli counter and pizza, locally made bagels and baked goods, coffee and much more. If traveling Route 17, this is a great pit stop! The worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. Stopped by this place during a weekend trip upstate. My friends and I loved the vibe so we all purchased winter hats with the logo on it. 2 days later on the ride home we stopped there again wearing the same hats. The very same cashier who had sold us the hats and conversed with us attempted to sneakily charge us for the hats that we walked in wearing and accused us of stealing. Even after I showed solid evidence of that we purchased the hats previously (time stamped photos), she continued to accuse us of stealing without listening to reason. Do yourself a favor and pass right by this miserable establishment. The deli food was also very mediocre and the deli service was not good. read more

Clean, spacious convenience store, they said "open about a year," so, I had to try something from their separate fast food eatery section. The menu lists Boar's Head deli sands., some pizza, fried apps., salads, burgers & sands. I got the Philly Cheesesteak on a 9" OK roll, upon which lay the disappointments. Although their website says "Overstuffed sandwiches," there was less than a decent amount of meat - somewhat gristly - with few pieces of peppers, onions, mushrooms and nearly no cheese. Who doesn't like cheese? Too bad their main customer base of "grab and go" travelers this season won't read this as a warning of NO,NO,NO. read more

I hadn't read the prior reviews but was looking for something fast and cheap on a longer drive west through the area. This is right off 17 (or I-86 if you want to call it that) and good if you're on the go. It is basically a gas station but the right side is a snack bar/restaurant. I did run into the surly guy mentioned in the other reviews but he was fine, just a little gruff. I didn't take it personally. The lady working the checkout counter was super nice and came over to help when she saw we had a largeish (4 people) order. The items came out super hot and wrapped to go (FYI the grill gives you a paper check that you take to the register in the other half (the side that looks more like a gas station convenience store) and you pay over there. That side also has a huge array of drinks, snacks, etc. They also have a section with a soda fountain and some roller hot dogs but that seemed to be unused when we were there. The did have some small pre-made pizzas in a hot glass case though. Anyway, this place definitely served it's purpose; feeding the family quickly with items (burgers, chicken sandwich, bacon/egg/cheese bagel, fries, etc) we could eat in the car. Would stop again on the way through the area under similar circumstances. read more

WOW...Never had an encounter like this. Wanted to order a latte. No plant based milk offered. So, asked if the gentleman would make me a coffee and I would add my own milk. He said "If you just want coffee, go get it over there" pointing to the standard gas station coffee area. I then said, "Just to clarify, all these on your menu are dairy based." He replied, "These are specialty coffees. You want plain coffee, get it over at the machines." No apologies, no offer of an Americano, nothing but a stare. I'll give them a star for clean restroom but the guy taking orders behind the counter was extremely RUDE and made us feel extremely uncomfortable! Avoid the big curly dark hair man! He shouldn't be working there and if that's his business he's definitely not a people person and should move on to the next! AVOID him at all cost! read more

I called for some subs and I have NEVER encountered such terrible rude customer service in the food area. Hope they get different help really soon. I know so many people turned off by this male counter worker. You are a counter worker, just take the orders and make the food. Get rid of your attitude, you have nothing to back it up with. Great convenience store with lots of selections. Gas is Mobile so trustworthy. Deli and Grill to grab breakfast, lunch or even dinner with indoor and outdoor seating. Large, spacious and very clean. An excellent choice. read more

We just stopped at the old bat factory for a quick sandwich and bathroom stop while traveling. What a pleasant surprise! The sandwich was great and the young lady who took our order was so polite. We asked the cashier about the name of the place and he was happy to share the history with us. And it was immaculate! Bathroom was pristine. Highly recommend! read more

Great place to stop along route 17 for gas and food. Lots of food and drink choices. Great homemade cookies. Sandwiches were generously portioned. But there is only one person at the grill so large orders take time. There are a few tables to eat inside and a couple picnic tables to eat outside. read more
