Cookies, light, not too sweet and perfect with coffee or tea!

Hungry? GO yo the Spotted Cow! The chicken rice soup tasted like it came right out of grandma's kitchen. With a grilled cheese and fries what could be more comforting on a chilly fall day. The service was quick, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant bright and immaculate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommended!

I loved the Spotted Cow! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly a great family cafe and restuarant that is run efficiently and beautifully![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I travel through the area 3 to 4 times a year from Buffalo and I often grabbed something to eat at the famous diner up the street but no more! My two recent experiences at the Spotted Cow have been superb! Can't wait to see owner Christo and daughters again..so hospitable! Thank you!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recently stumbled upon this place with my sister as we were trying to find a decent cup of coffee around here and this was the right choice. The food, dessert, and coffee genuinely are very good. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is extremely friendly. I've been back several times since my first visit!

We have eaten in this Roscoe, NY often...always impressed by delicious food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is welcoming and clean...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This past Sunday (rainy day) the place was very busy - this impacted the service - one server!?! We had to ask for water & our coffee did not get a refill (it was breakfast time). What we found odd (& to tell the truth!) insulting is that we were charged for the Half & Half for our coffee?!? This was a first at any eatery we have visited - NYC and Upstate NY! (And since we only had one cup of coffee, quite insulting!?!?)

I ordered gluten free avacado toast and they gave me regular bread long story this is a very bad mistake on them !

They served me a gluten bread after asking for gluten free huge mistake in them! I explained how important it was to not allow that to happen it's a horrible mistake they made and they need to be more careful !! I am so angry it really screws me up !

Our gyro platter. Amazingly fresh and delicious

A true home run for Roscoe!!! Finally after waiting for months and months to open, we had our opportunity to meet the family that opened Spotted Cow and enjoy an amazing lunch! First, what a wonderfully decorated and fun vibe they have created at this previous bank location. Of course there's no shortage of cow related motif including the outside propane tank decorated with cow spots. We were greeted by the owner with a giant smile on his face, an explanation that everything is baked there and a menu that has loads of great Greek and standard American fare. Our waiter (part of the family) was so friendly and gave us a bit of background on his family and the lay of the land at SC. We ordered a cup of delicious lentil soup and shared a gyro platter. The soup had all fresh ingredients and had that home cooked taste to it, just wonderful. For our main shared gyro platter, wow!! The pork gyro meat is layered and put together there, it is so fresh! The outside has that crunchy grilled texture and underneath is a moist, with just enough fat, tender cut of pork, truly the best gyro meat I have ever had. The platter comes with nice warm pita bread, fresh salad and home made tzatziki dressing. Seriously, you must stop here and have this dish, OMG!! Oh and some nice seasoned home made French fries come along side as well. Our new friends brought over some traditional Greek cookies made there and of course after eating these samples, we bought a few to take as home as well! So excited that Spotted Cow has opened in our little town and can't wait to my next meal there.

Lentil soup and Greek style lemon potatoes.

I ordered lentil soup and a side of lemon potatoes, a favorite Greek recipe. This little meal was delicious, perfectly seasoned, nourishing, and authentic. I really enjoyed it. The place is bright and busy, comfy and friendly. The prices are very reasonable.

The hummus was not far behind! And the pitas delicious, soft and fresh. My son is not much for trying new things, so he got a burger and fries. His plate was completely clean - he even tried the tzatziki and hummus appetizers which is a first for him. He said the fries tasted homemade and not frozen and he really liked them. My other son's quesadilla came with "jalapeño sauce"..... it was on the hot side, but good! I could only eat half of my platter, so I brought the rest home. The rice was simple, but good (cooked in chicken broth, and the chicken was delicious, and dipping it in the included tzatziki was an extra treat. Even included a stuffed grape leaf which I love! My husband loved his gyro! We are happy because we take 206 to go to the falls area when we feel like being outside, and aside from a couple of restaurants in Milford, and pizzerias, there's not much up there. This will definitely be our go to place. Next time I'll try to take pictures (I was hungry LOL). The owners seem nice, and it's a family run business, which we love. Don't be taken back by the simple decor and paper plates, this place is worth it. It's probably a little higher than other places in the area, but comparable to other Greek places that we have visited (in Morris or Bergen County).

I can't say enough positive things about Yanni's. We visited this gem while staying at Kartrite,…read moredesperate to avoid the resort's ridiculously overpriced and frankly repulsive food. What a find. The menu had a great selection, everything from sandwiches to gyros, salads and classic sides. We visited twice tried a variety of sandwiches, green salad, and fries. Everything was well cooked, well seasoned and clearly made with care. They also had classic Greek desserts, including a phyllo‑dough pastry soaked in honey with custard and cinnamon (I'm blanking on the name, but it was absolutely delicious). The kids loved getting ice cream for dessert. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a pleasure when you are greeted by a staff who is genuinely happy to be there and interacting with guests. We ended up going back two more times during our short stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone local, and especially to anyone looking to escape the horrors of the Kartrite resort food. Our only complaint is that we don't live closer; this would absolutely be our regular go‑to spot if we did!

Aside from never offering what they did have available and instead saying "We don't have that" for about half the menu, she seemed very annoyed to be taking our order period. She was very unpleasant, to say the least. Waitress had an immense staring problem as well. I would've walked out had it not been a going away event for a coworker. Owner seems aware of this issue. Took about an hour for a milkshake and by that time, after tolerating the way she treated the group, I didn't have the appetite to finish half of it. Never again, I rather starve than ever come back here.
