Park over by the former Sears parking area and bring your raiseable bags. On Saturday's Happy Pickle is there and they are the most amazing pickles - discounts depending on how many you buy. Last week I got a huge butternut squash for $1 and hard to find honeynut squash 2/$1. I have purchased tons of red, green and nappa cabbage more than half off what you would pay at the store. Vendors are helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Check the Greece Ridge calendar prior to heading out as this market is not year round - but definitely a place to find great local produce for cheap.

Only a handful of people were there at 8:30 :) Since it's at the Greece Ridge Mall, there's plenty of parking right up close. No hassle of driving downtown fighting the crowds or finding a place to park. Vendors are friendly and willing to work with you. The prices were fantastic, so much more for your buck! I stocked up on green peppers, onions, garlic, brussel sprouts and potatoes. The onions were my favorite, so big and flavorful. Super convenient, great produce amazing prices!

It has been a farm every since, and the Chase-Flack cobblestone farmhouse (not open to the public) was a stop on the underground railroad. It's still an operating farm, and you can buy fresh produce at the market that is right on NY 18. My visit was in October, so the choices included fresh corn, Indian corn, pumpkins of all sizes, decorative gourds, hay, eggs, cut wood, decorative items and gift items. Give them a try!

It's not a garden *store*, so they don't have tools, pots, fertilizer, or things of that nature. But if you need a plant, this is the place. This spring I bought chives, basil, marigolds, and petunias here, and the prices I paid were about half of what some local garden stores charge. At the checkout, you can buy locally grown fruits and veggies. During my last stop, they had onions, potatoes, radishes, tomatoes, and several kinds of apples. Maple syrup too. Service is friendly, they take credit/debit, and the prices are reasonable. Support a local business and check them out if you're in Greece.

You get on a wagon pulled by a tractor and they drop you off to pick your choices of apples. I love that they don't spray year round and they only treat at the beginning of the season and only for the pest(s) identified. They don't use a generic pesticide and generally seem to be environmentally conscious. I also love that they allow you to sample the apples Great little family orchard. Rock on Whittier!

Came here with friends to pick apples. Such a fun experience! We had a perfect day for this…read moreadventure! Limited parking spots but people seem to be always coming and going. Cute little store barn, with apples already bagged for a quick grab and go! Donuts, cider, veggies and popcorn available to purchase. Some craft items like signs for purchase too. They have a tractor with a wavy that takes people out to a specific area to pick different types of apples. They have things working very smoothly here, if a sign is on the ground that row of apples is not ready to be picked. A sign is up telling you all the details about that apple... it's ready to be picked. There were a good number of people picking apples with us but everyone is spaced out very nicely. Tried a few apples and they were crisp and sweet ... feels like fall is here! Back on the wagon up to the barn, where they have these cute old fashioned scales to weigh your apples and pay. Very cute experience that we all enjoyed.
