The hotel has a full service restaurant that serves regional Mexican food and two bars -- Mexican beer costs about US$2 per bottle. For dinner, we had chicken fajitas and grilled fish, both with freshly-made tortillas and delicious guacamole .  The fajitas were very good; the fish overcooked.  Chilaquilles with eggs, muchacas, frijoles, and potatoes for breakfast was good. Tortillas are freshly made.  Service was friendly but slow. Only instant decaffeinated coffee is available.

We stayed early June, immediately following the end of the Baja 500, and fell in love with the place. We were just left wondering why such a stunning place would be empty at this time of year? Sure, the courtyard was beautiful, hotel right on the water, and the rooms were spectacular! Can only imagine it was because everyone cleared out of town the day before. Overall, had fantastic stay at this place. Good tequila pours, fabulous location, and great room. Can't wait to drink one tequila too many again at this place:)

This is a great, clean, roomy, and comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Vicente Guerrero community…read moreof San Quintín. I was impressed with the easy check-in and spacious room I was assigned. Rooms face the parking, so you can park right in front of your room. The room had AC/Heater, free WiFi, wooden shutters on the window, good room locks, reasonably comfortable bed, hot water at both the sink and shower (some Mexican hotels only have cold water at the sink). There was bar soap and shampoo, and a little packet with a cloth to shine up your shoes. There were limited but adequate electrical outlets for charging your devices. No iron nor ironing board, but, seriously, who comes to San Quintín needing that? There was a place for hangups and drawers to stash clothes or other items. There is a fairly nice full service restaurant on site, but I really recommend the burritos at La Moreliana open early morning till 2 PM, a very short walk north (about the equivalent of a city block or less). It's not a luxuymry hotel. You won't find a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, golf course, a bathrobe, nor mints on your pillow, but I've stayed here before and it's a nice, clean, and safe place to sleep. Some reviewers complained of street noise. I had room 101, the closest to the highway, and did not notice the traffic noise. I didn't feel the need to use my White Noise app. This is your best option for miles.

When I did, her English was decent and we booked a room for 4 people. When we arrived the next day, we had trouble locating it as there is construction out front, but it is RIGHT NEXT to the Pemex Gas Station. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful, with some English spoken. Our room was amazing with TWO KING beds, and then a loft with two singles. Everyone had their own bed for the first time on our trip. The room was beautiful and spacious and the furnishings gorgeous too. The in-room coffee was not the best I've had, but who cares when we paid less than $40 to house 4 people comfortably. Love, love, love this place.

Adorable little motel, very cute décor, fairly spacious and comfortable…read more Cannot beat the price for this quality of accommodation. Why 4 stars? the only negative is that the motel is located on THE main street that crosses the village and at the bottom of a hill. Knowing that this is the only road that goes from north to south in Baja, there are a lot of trucks using either compression brakes to slow themselves as they enter the village, or roaring engines to get up the hill. This makes for some serious noise at any hours of the day/night.

Omg! This place was the perfect get away for relaxing and destressing. You can either rent a room…read moreor camp onsite. There are different fees for either option. You can cook your own food on their grills or pay for food. The have a food hall in which everyone who orders food come together and eat. The breakfast costs $8 and dinner $15. They also have snacks, drinks and ice for sale. What I loved the most was the night sky. I can't begin to describe how MAGNIFICENT the skyblooked at night. You could see the Milk Way's glow! There were so many shooting stars that I lost count. The reason I gave this place a 4 was because of the particular situation that happened that night. The ranch has rules that says lights and music are to be turned off at 10 pm. There was a family that did not respect the rules and keep their private party going until 4 am. They were politely asked to turn down their music and keep in mind the other guests at the ranch. They ignored the guests requests and continued on with their racket. Unfortunately the ranch's staff did not tell them anything that night. The staff was made aware of the situation the next morning, but by then it was too late as most of the guests didn't get a good night sleep and had to continue driving. Even with this particular situation I would consider going back because the night sky with all its glory is worth the drive!

There is limited electricity. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a tomahawk steak from cattle grown on the ranch for dinner one night and he enjoyed it. Otherwise the food was fine but not exceptional. The draw is the wilderness. If you were going on to the national park, this would be a great place to stop. As a stand-alone destination it was interesting but I feel no need to return.

I bet it rocks in the summer. We were there in winter Jan 2016. Weather was perfect! Warm days, and cool nights. Enclosed parking lot is dirt, but they rake it often so it looks nice. Shower was great, plenty of hot water & all that. Beds were good, but bring your own blanket if you might get cold. Room has cool ceramic tile floor. There is an on-site restaurant which was not open during our stay. There IS Wifi, but don't try too hard to get on it before you ask for help. The written instructions were way wrong & you need to connect to a different wifi network to get the password to work. Then the wifi only sort of worked anyway. Front desk was very polite, nice & helpful. I would stay there again anytime. Oh, well there was one problem. I sort of hate to mention it because it's beyond the control of the hotel and it might not affect you. Some fools on the hill were jamming super loud throbbing dance party music all night. Maybe a nightclub or just a party? I dunno, but bring earplugs just in case & you'll be fine. Too bad, because everything else about this hotel was better than most. This hotel is easy walking distance to "The Strip" at the beach and we walked there for dinner & again for breakfast.
