    Burrito and coffee
    Patty L.

We saw Yelp reviews and decided to stop in for a coffee and breakfast food on our way through Sweet Springs. We were greeted by Colton, who was very kind and engaging. I love having conversations with genuine people, and that set the positive stage for our visit. I ordered the Old School signature hot coffee and a burrito. Hubby ordered a crime brûlée hot coffee and a burrito. Both coffees were delicious. I almost always have coffee regret when we taste each other's coffee, but both of these were noteworthy. The burritos were tasty! They were warm and crisp ... not like typical coffee shop food. Kudos!! I'd definitely stop in here again if my travels lead me this way!

We happened to catch a glance at the billboard along I-70 and made the decision to stop by. I am glad we did, we are greeted by a friendly face. The cashier's name was Michaela and she made an excellent Americano and honey oat milk latte. She also provided us with a delicious cinnamon roll. The old school was the perfect place for a pit stop - it was comfortable, spacious, filled with games such as jenga, and very clean. I recommend this place to everyone driving through, they even have a restaurant attached that looks amazing. There are burgers, chicken sandwiches, hearty (quality)American food. Believe me, it is worth your time!

Such a great little place! Has the best coffee shop vibe in the most unlikely of locations. If you're every in need for some great coffee on a long highway drive, this is your place!

Froyoccino what is it? Take a look at the picture

Quite literally in an old school. When I saw the road sign I thought they might mean some old methodology of coffee making, nope of that! I had a froyocinno. I never heard of such a thing but I liked it. I was really surprised that I didn't taste any bitterness. I'm glad I stopped by. That stretch of I-70 is pretty boring it was nice to chill for a few minutes in this nice large clean coffee shop. When I asked the barista about the place he was able to give a bit of history about the building kind of surprised he knew all that. Next time I got to drive that stretch and I'm feeling a bit tired I'll be stopping by here again.

I decided to get a sampling of a few items. They offer oat milk for a creamer, which is a nice perk.

Their combination of froyo and in-house roasted coffee served as a pour over is a great combination. Neat place just 1 mile off the interstate!

Froyochino is amazing! Homemade cinnamon rolls yummm! Everything is made at a slow pace, so order, grab a table, and just relax in this school house turned coffee and froyo shop

A delight between Omaha and St. Louis!

On our way from Omaha, NE to St. Louis I just had a hankering for a mocha frappe. Alas, the coffee desert threatened to defeat me until Yelp pointed me here, thus, saving the day! My husband treated himself to a hot cinnamon bun and I the iced mocha. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun as we imbibed. And today is National Coffee Day!!!

On a "day trip" from St Louis to Colorado Springs I70 is getting long already. "Old School Coffee" the sign reads. It IS worth the mile south off I70 drive. Coffee is smooth, no hint of bitterness, made from freshly ground beans, brewed to your order. We chose fresh-this morning cinnamon roll. It's made of MT wheat, organic--not light, fluffy & lacking in substance. The icing is--of course--sweet, but does not overwhelm the delightful roll. The "school" is very clean, neat, & pleasant. Go back to school? Oh, yes!

The only reason my husband and I discovered this place opened tonight, Wednesday, was because we had gone to Heroes to eat, and went for an evening stroll. Upon approaching this store, we noticed the bright flashing "Open" sign, and he and I looked at each other, and we are like getting our laptops and heading in. I'm glad we came here on a Wednesday night, and all stars were aligned. The barista was a sweet girl, very accommodating and she made the best hot, dirty chai latte I've had. It wasn't too strong but just right. I already had my fill of coffee for the day, so maybe next time I will try a coffee here.

I've been eyeing this place ever since arriving in Warrensburg, Missouri. Walking past it every day during the cold weather weeks, which caused this lovely place to close temporarily, due to the lack of traffic. Now, it is back open, and tending to the locals who come by and set up shop with books and laptops to read and do some work. Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile by Maggie, their barista for the day. She was very patient and attentive as I made small talk with her, stalling as I decided what to order. I asked what the specials were, as their is a chalkboard on the counter that reads "Barista Favorites", a list of specialty custom drinks made by each individual barista. Hers was the "cinnamon toast crunch latte" consisting of their espresso beans from Colombia, brown sugar syrup, and another secret ingredient I'll have to inquire for the next time I come. It was perfectly foamed and delicious to the last drop. She even popped over to ask how I liked it, hence the 'charm of a hole-in-the-wall'. I see why this place is so loved, and definitely plan to come back again. The food is popular here as well, but I haven't tried it. They have a selection of breakfast sandwiches that are made with a panini machine. Be sure to come before 1pm, because they shut it down for closing around then. If you're a local, or just visiting, this is definitely a shop to visit.
