Food: I really enjoyed my food here. We were able to get outside seating. It was a beautiful day in Vancouver. We were able to people watch and enjoy delicious food. I ordered the lasagna and French onion soup. Both were delicious. I also ordered a strawberry cream soda! I've never had anything like it, and it was absolutely delicious. If you come here, please order it. You will not be disappointed. Service: Service was OK. Although it was a bit slow. Our waiter was super helpful. Ambiance: There's a bus sitting in the middle of the restaurant. I a bit surprising, but I enjoyed it.

I met up with my friends from Sun Run Expo prior to coming here. We decided this is the best budget place since we were hungry and wanted something inexpensive. Vibe was great. Kind of old fashioned interior. It was rather like a patio kind of day, but we ate inside instead of patio tables. Price range was pretty good since it's all exclusive including salad/soup, tea or coffee and icecream along with main dish. I had Lunch Lasagna ($15.75) with salad while 2 other friends had Chicken Alfredo Ravioli with onion soup ($25.20) and Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo with onion soup ($25.20). Salad was alright bit salty. Lasagna was good. My friends seemed to enjoy their pasta as well. They commented onion soup were salty. Bread was pretty good. Coffee, tea and icecream tasted fine. Service was great. I'd have to say Old Spaghetti Factory is a great place for lunch/ dinner without breaking the bank. We were all left full from pasta, salad, soup, bread and icecream.

only waited 15 mins ish to be seated, even though it was busy! space was really tight, but that's expected for a family style restaurant. i always love going here because of the "it's all included" deal, where your pasta comes with soup/salad, coffee/tea and ice cream. such good value i got the spaghetti with clams (19.95). It was kind of bland.. but the clam chowder and ice cream were good. Great portions too

Spaghetti Factory never disappoints. We missed visiting Spaghetti Factory. They are closing them around the Seattle area, so we decided to take a girls day trip to Canada and we were pleasantly surprised, the food and service were consistent with what we had experienced to our prior visits to the old spaghetti factory, in Seattle. It was a pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend!

OSF has been at this Gaston location forever it seems. The venue has plenty of seating for large groups; so it was ideal for our work lunch. Food wise, they have lunch specials that come with a salad, dessert of ice cream, and coffee or tea. So it's a pretty good deal. Taste wise though, the food is a bit bland. I got lasagna and would've liked the sauce to be more seasoned. Service was ok/on the slower side. They provided bread when we sat down.

Super fun dinner, I grew up going to The Old Spaghetti Factory in Souther California and this one was just as I remembered. Going here brought back so many happy memories. Our service was great and the food was perfect!

YAY SPAGHETTI!!!! WE LOVE OLD SPAGHETTI FACTORY! We got the cheese bread and soup and salad lunch special. SOOOO good. We're regulars at the chain in California and this did NOT disappoint. Staff was really friendly and the inside is so cute and fun. Indoor trains are my fave

All inclusive dinners, all entrees come with either salad or soup, bread, coffee or tea and a spumoni dessert. Value for money which is getting rarer and rarer in these inflationary times, however don't expect quality. With over 42 restaurants in the USA & Canada, their dishes are consistent and average at best. Not high end Italian but enough italianese to satisfy your pasta craving Started off with a free bread loaf, arrived hot with a nice crispy crust alongside a herbal garlic butter spread. Their Fetticine Alfredo is a mix of green and white noodles. Noodles not al dente but overcooked. Could have used a little more Alfredo sauce as the cheese profile was underwhelming. On a positive note, their staff were efficient and friendly even though we had to ask for spoons for our desserts. Finished meal with their well known spumoni ice cream dessert. Meal was good enough to satisfy my hunger but true Italians would not be caught within a hundred miles of this place

Amazing amazing place. I can go here again and again. It has beautiful old interior, warm food and super friendly service. They give warm complimentary bread and their soup is must try. The yam fries were super crispy. I loved the filling of Manicotta. I will say if you are in gastown you should go here. If you are vegan and vegetarian, they have many options. And their alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are good too!

The exterior and interior of the restaurant makes you feel like you are sort of going back in time. The wait staff was uber professional and classic old-world feel but a little less attentive than I would have hoped, perhaps this is the way it was in the early 1900s? The onion soup was classic, it was good. It was not inferior to other preparations I have tried in past. Was the cheese browned--no, but it was fine. The spaghetti was a little too firm for it to be al dente but tasted just fine. The sauce was under spiced and could have benefited from a dash more oregano and garlic. It was underwhelming in taste. The lighting was fine and the music not noticeable. Would i come here--for sure. Don't expect a knock your socks off best-meal-of-your life gustatory experience, but you won't leave saddled with recrimination and remorse that you went to a different place. Ambiance/decor 5 Wait staff 3 Food taste 3 Price 3 Since the food was a 3, i rounded down and gave it a 3.

We stopped on our visit through Vancouver. It was a good choice. The restaurant has an old cable car and the front of a ship to name just a few things that make this eclectic restaurant cool. But the food puts it over the top. We had lots of bread. The bread that came w our meal was crusty and doughy just the way I like it. The butter was garlicky and good. But we also ordered the cheesy toast. W lots of different cheeses on it. So good too. Also had cheese triangles that were cheesy but not to gooey. The sauce was good to dip in. I had the goat cheese salad that had all goodies on top of the spinach. Lightly dressed but tasty. We then had the pesto Alfredo w chicken. So good. The sauce was so flavorful and dipping the bread was a bonus. We ended the meal w ice cream it was good but I'm not a big vanilla person. Our waitress, Summer, was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and was polite and kind too. You should check this place as a good spot to eat.

Not my kind of place to come to but we were hungry and crabby. Luckily bread and delicious garlic butter was brought out right way. This place reminds me of Cheesecake Factory without the cheesecake haha. Interesting decor, very old fashioned with a little train in the middle of the restaurant that has seats inside. Servers were disorganized and clumsy, but nice. Food was ok! Clam chowder tasted great, French onion was good. Caesar salad was delicious but drenched in dressing haha. The roasted chicken was well cooked but the Italian spices overwhelmed the whole dish. Overall, i don't think I'd come back but also it wasn't a bad experience.

This is tortillo promodoro with good number of shrimps and the sauce is adequate enough. The pasta is fresh i recommend to try

The food was quite decent. I thought the prices were a bit inflated for just pasta, but the portion size was pretty massive -- most of us took leftovers to go. The sauces in general were a bit bland and the pasta was definitely cooked to beyond al dente, which isn't my preference for dried pasta. That said, the toppings were generous, especially for the linguine crab that I ordered (would highly recommend!). Come by before they close permanently!

My friends and I recently shared a few dishes here, and while the flavors were truly impressive,…read morethe portion sizes left us wanting more. We started with the complimentary bread, which was a total highlight. Each person gets a fresh slice that has an incredible crust and a soft, pillowy center--dipping it into the oil and vinegar was the perfect way to start the meal. For our mains, the Gnocchi Asparagi e Funghi was my favorite - the gnocchi themselves were clearly handmade and had a great texture that didn't feel heavy. The earthy mushrooms and asparagus worked really well with the parmesan cream, which was rich but didn't overpower the other flavors. The Squid Ink Linguine ai Frutti di Mare was also solid; the lobster bisque base gave it a deep, savory saltiness that coated the clams, prawns, and scallops perfectly without making the dish feel too "fishy." We also tried the Candele Al Ragù D'Anatra. The duck ragu was tender and savory, and the combination of the parmesan fondue and aged asiago added a nice, sharp saltiness that made every bite really satisfying. Everything we ate was seasoned perfectly and tasted fresh, it's just a shame the portions were so small because the flavors were definitely there. The service was excellent and very attentive; I especially appreciated that they were constantly on top of refilling my water throughout the night. The ambience also hit the right note, making it a great spot for a night out. However, the portions are definitely on the smaller side and aren't super filling. Even though every dish tasted amazing, we weren't full by the end of the meal, so it's something to keep in mind if you're arriving with a big appetite.

The seafood ravioli was tasty and I'd have it again. The pappardelle was decent although didn't have as much depth or complexity of flavour as it could've. The restaurant was cute, cozy, and could seat us right away so we decided to give it a try. We got the poached pear salad and enjoyed it! The pears were delicious and a very refreshing salad. It did come with burrata on top which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't gooey at all. For our mains, we split the pesto rigatoni and the special which was also a rigatoni with white wine, capers, shrimp and lemon. First off, the noodles are delicious on both dishes. They are clearly handmade in the best way possible. Very tender, delicate, and almost melt in your mouth. The pesto dish was perfect but again the burrata on top was disappointing since it was sort of tough/dry and not gooey. The special dish was very good but the lemon was quite strong. Initially it was a bit too much but it did grow on you over time and I did like the dish. We ended with a tiramisu and while it was delicious, there wasn't much of the bread/cake/cookie part as it was mostly cream. Overall, it was fun to try a new place but I expected a more for the price point. For $35 per plate plus salad and dessert it was a very expensive dinner and we weren't full.
