They said a parent is threatening to sue them because my son allegedly trapped their child under a chair. The owner never found any video footage of this supposed incident, and my son does not have a history of this type of behavior. I didn't want to push for my son to stay in this summer program though if there is such a lack of adult supervision that they would even be unsure of the children's whereabouts during the hours in their care. The children are in a small space throughout the day during the summer program, and if there is no adult witness that can say with surety that an event did or did not occur, they are not actively supervising these children effectively

I attended an event as a chaperone with the kids from Micah House, and from the moment you walk in, the Burrage Mansion is stunning. The steps leading up to the home and the beautifully preserved historic house immediately set the tone. The property owner generously hosts events here, and one of the annual events is a Christmas celebration for elementary school kids. He opens up the entire estate for the children to enjoy crafts, a magic show, bounce houses, and even a visit with Santa Claus. There are also two rooms filled with presents where each child gets to choose a gift, which was incredibly special to see. It was such a thoughtful, joyful, and memorable experience for everyone involved. I'm not sure what other events are hosted here, but based on this experience alone, the Burrage Mansion absolutely deserves five stars.

We worked with several people from the Mitten Building and everyone we had contact with was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Our wedding reception was originally scheduled for late March 2020. Less than two weeks before our event was to take place, we got the call that it would have to be postponed due to COVID-19. The staff was very apologetic and allowed us to take our time with rescheduling. We even rescheduled twice because of changing mandates/ lockdowns with no hassle or fees. We met again with staff the week before our rescheduled event in May 2021 and we were able to update our guest count and adjust our invoice because unfortunately, it had changed significantly. The building is so beautiful and perfect for wedding portraits. We booked the Summerbell room and patio for our wedding reception. At our original walk-through meeting we were given a voucher to dine at the Mitten. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a tasking. After that tasting, we knew we had to go with the Mitten Building for our catering as well. All of the food was high quality and absolutely delicious! On the day of our event, we were treated like royalty. Our onsite coordinator from the Mitten Building ensured that everything was exactly as we had planned, ran smoothly, and took great care of us. It was such a lovely day and went by way too fast. I highly recommend the Mitten Building and would absolutely book here again!

Our wedding wasn't until 2019, and the amount of changes the venue had gone through during that time was incredible. You can tell every dime you pay gets put right back into the property. The catering, which I believe was done by an in-house husband and wife couple, was better than expected. The herb chicken, which my cousin said came highly- recommended, was tasty and juicy. The tri-tip was also solid, and cooked to medium as it should be. The wedding coordinator Katie, who came included with the venue, was amazing! My cousin, the bride, kept saying how great Katie was, and how helpful she was during the process. My cousin frequently remarked, "we trust her so much", which is great. Also, as a first time wedding officiant, she really made it easy for me. Also, Morgan the DJ, another venue provided vendor, was great to work with. The venue is on the second floor, which can be a challenge or an absolute deal breaker for some. They do have a chair lift though, which several of our attendees used to get upstairs. Parking could be a challenge, as the venue is located in historic downtown Redlands. According to my cousin, parking at the CVS was allowed, but I'd double check with the venue.
